Chapter 12: Chapter 12 - Ranger Friend

Later at 3:29 p.m., Rico and Riolu are going home after class. And as they walk on the street with Juan, Adrian, and their Pokémon, Rico suddenly said them, "Hey, I was thinking about going on a journey."

"Woah, really?" responded Juan back in mild surprise.

"Yeah, just like Ash," Rico replied back in positivity. "I heard that he went on many journeys in the past."

"Oh, I see then," Juan replied back. "Well, it's gonna be tough, you know."

"Yeah, I mean, you have leave your family behind," Adrian reminded Rico about the effects, "and the journey will be hard and tough."

"I know," Rico get what his friends just said, "I'll be thinking about it first."

"That's good then."

They then arrived at a bus stop, and just in time, a city bus arrived and opened its door. Its route is this: East Kawayan City Train Station – Laurel Road – Remigio Avenue.

Upon noticing the bus, Rico turned towards his friends and said, "Well, this is the bus. I'll be going now," Riolu, on Rico's right shoulder, then wavered goodbye to Adrian, Juan, and their Pokemon. They then wavered it and Rico in response as Rico climbed the bus and swiped his bus card. After Rico settled down on an empty row of seats next to the aisle, the doors closed and the bus left the stop and towards its next stop, Laurel Road. And inside the bus, Rico and Riolu glanced at the window to the left, watching and looking as the bus rolls by down the street.

Later at 3:40 p.m., the bus had arrived at its stop, Laurel Road, and it opened its doors. This is Rico's destination, so Rico got up, grabbed his shoulder bag, swiped his bus card once more, and get off the bus with Riolu on his shoulder. And as the bus left the stop, the pair walked for a few minutes to Rico's house, passing by a few houses along the way. They then arrived at Rico's house and entered via the big, red, steel gate and closed it.

And as they entered the house via the front door, Rico greeted his mother, "We're home!"

Rosario, who was making cheese and ketchup sandwiches for her son, then noticed them coming, and greeted them back, "Welcome back home. I made you some sandwiches."

Upon noticing the sandwiches, Rico and Riolu got delighted by it, and Rico responded back in thanking his mother, "Thanks, mom." He and Riolu then grabbed two sandwiches and take a bite of it.

Later at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Rico and Riolu went upstairs so Rico would change clothing. A few minutes later, Rico and Riolu went back downstairs to watch TV, with Rico in his indoor clothes. Upon arriving at the living room, Rico grabbed the remote control, turned on the TV, and reclined on the sofa, with Riolu sitting on the sofa next to Riolu. It seems that Rosario was happy that her son and his Riolu got along very, very well.

And then, during a TV program, someone rang the doorbell at the front gate. It was Ben and his Pichu, who have been following Rico's activity since yesterday. Upon hearing that, Rosario went outside to the front gate to answer it, only to come back inside just to inform Rico that someone is looking for him. In response to that, Rico stand up and went outside to meet the one who had rang the doorbell, only to see Ben standing in front of the gate.

"Hi, there," Ben delightfully and positively greeted Rico.

"Um, hi?" Rico greeted back with semi-confusion.

"Are you the one who defeated the Pokémon Pinchers ?" Ben asked him a question.

"Um, yeah?" answered Rico back.

"You're so awesome. I had seen everything."

"Really? You had been watching me the whole time?"

"Exactly. You are so cool."

"Oh, thanks, I guessed. So, wanna come in?"

"Sure."

Ben and Pichu then came in, and Rosario shut the gate door closed. The sun was setting beautifully.
