"Primeape, charge forward and use Covet!"

At Tyson's command, Primeape lunged forward with incredible speed.

After extensive training and the physical enhancements brought about by leveling up, Primeape's strength as a Fighting-type Pokémon had reached astonishing levels. It closed the gap between itself and Raticate in the blink of an eye, its focused energy radiating.

Using Covet, Primeape's technique disrupted Raticate's focus, leaving it momentarily dazed. Seizing the opportunity, Primeape delivered a powerful punch directly to Raticate's face.

Without waiting for further instructions, Primeape glared menacingly, its Leer further reducing Raticate's defenses. But this time, instead of relying on the basic Scratch, Primeape unleashed a well-practiced Cross Chop. The force of the blow jolted Raticate back to its senses, though it was clear it had sustained significant damage.

Summoning the last of its strength, Raticate used Quick Attack to launch itself at Primeape in a desperate bid to land a hit.

"Primeape, dodge left, then accelerate forward! Finish it with Low Kick!"

Tyson's voice rang out, and Primeape swiftly rolled to the side, evading Raticate's attack. It then crouched low, gathering momentum, and slammed its leg into Raticate, sending it sprawling.

"End this with Cross Chop!"

With precision and power, Primeape executed the move, and Raticate collapsed, unable to continue.

Returning triumphantly to its trainer, Primeape grinned broadly, clearly proud of its performance.

"Good job, Primeape. You're improving every day. I think you're not far from evolving into an unstoppable force," Tyson said, patting Primeape's furry head gently.

Primeape purred contentedly under Tyson's touch, though somewhere in the back of its mind, it mused how nice it would be if Tyson were a small, defenseless trainer in need of protection.

If Tyson had known about this sentiment, his kind encouragement might have been replaced by a lesson on the importance of respect—delivered via his trusty belt.

"Alright, take a break. We're almost to Lavender Town," Tyson added, standing tall and preparing to move on.

Primeape wasn't the only Pokémon showing improvement. Kadabra had mastered its Teleport technique at a higher proficiency, and its overall strength had noticeably increased. Meanwhile, Primeape's advancements brought it closer to evolution, showcasing impressive growth.

Tyson knew that the Mizutani family had likely deduced his destination. As a result, he prepared for their ambush, trusting that Agatha's plan would soon lead to the family's downfall.
