Pokemon: Behold the Father of All Pokemons

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed or not, but the chapters are mad short, it's the whole reason I'm dropping 2 chapters a day instead of 1. but fear not from about chapter 35, the chapter will be over a 1000 words and the clarity will be even better.

"Don't be so surprised, I'm a skilled bio-designer after all," Ethan said, casting a stern look at James Hunt. "If this minor task leaves you astonished, how are you going to keep up with me in the future?"

James was momentarily speechless. He had recently known Ethan to be a remarkable bio-designer, but Ethan's abilities were beginning to seem almost beyond belief.

Ethan gestured toward the setup. "Pour in the culture solution and inject the additional biological cells into each tank."

James, still processing his amazement, nodded and got to work. Around the lab, other researchers who'd heard about Ethan working on two new species were just as stunned.

"Two new species? How is that even possible?" one of them muttered in disbelief.

"Mr. Grave said he's been working nonstop, barely sleeping," James explained, still grappling with the reality himself.

The others exchanged skeptical glances. "He must be kidding. Creating a new genetic organism usually takes months of rigorous testing."

"Well, it's Mr. Grave's lab. What he says goes. And remember the surprise of Pichu?" The mention of Pichu quickly silenced the room.

After the preparations were complete, Ethan dismissed everyone and began reviewing his options in the system's Pokédex, carefully considering which two Pokémon to unlock next.

"Eevee would be perfect, it was soft, cute, and bound to captivate the audience," he mused. "Psyduck's also unique and marketable with its quirky abilities. Or maybe Squirtle, Vulpix, Meowth… so many choices."

Finally, he settled on two classics: Charmander for Fire-type and Squirtle for Water-type. He felt these icons would set the perfect tone for Pokémon Biotechnology's next phase. Just as he confirmed his choice of Charmander, the system delivered a surprise:

"Congratulations to the host for triggering the lucky mechanism and obtaining an 'Evo pill,' now added to your backpack!"

Taken aback, Ethan accessed the system's backpack and found the Evo pill, a resource capable of evolving a Pokémon instantly to the next stage.

"Now that's convenient," he thought. "Maybe I'll use it to evolve Charmander into Charmeleon or even evolve a Pichu into Pikachu for the upcoming expo."

Ethan prepared the tanks accordingly: 50 for the Pichu's, the remaining were split between Squirtles, and a single one for Charmander, which he envisioned as a potential long-term project, perhaps eventually evolving into a Charizard, which would be a powerful symbol for the company.

Once the genetic codes were injected, the original cells disintegrated, and fresh Pokémon seeds began to form in each tank. Ethan called James and the others back to monitor the seeds' development.

"Mr. Grave, everything appears stable," James reported, noting the rapid nutrient absorption, similar to what they'd observed with Pichu.

"Good. We have enough culture medium stocked, but I'll arrange for a refill," Ethan replied, gesturing toward the Charmander tank. "Keep a close eye on this one."

James's gaze lingered on the Charmander tank, intrigued by what unique traits this species might display.

As the New Century Pet Expo drew near, Ethan prepared his team, ensuring they were well-versed in Pichu's behavior and care requirements. The exhibition would be their chance to make a significant impression.

On the morning of the event, Ethan loaded ten selected Pichus into pet carriers and headed to the Tarvok City International Expo Center. Arriving early, the team watched other companies setting up their displays, eager to showcase their innovations.

After presenting their credentials, Pokémon Biotechnology's team moved forward with their equipment and the pet carriers covered in black cloth. Their arrival didn't go unnoticed.

"Is that the Pokémon company? They actually showed up," one of the entrance staff muttered with a chuckle. "Wonder if they'll embarrass themselves. I'd pay good money to watch"

Inside, they picked up their booth number, navigating through a range of elaborate and modest displays. Major companies had spacious booths, while smaller businesses opted for simpler setups, each vying for the audience's attention.

As Ethan and James entered the office to confirm their booth details, they encountered two familiar faces: Jerry Fowler and Megan Dowe.

It was no coincidence. Jerry and Megan had clearly planned this moment, waiting in the office to confront Ethan face-to-face.
