Chapter 104: Chapter 104: Z-Crystals
Chapter 104: Z-Crystals
~Azure S. POV~
[Alola Region, Days Later, Melemele Island, Hau'oli City – Pokémon School]
After having caught Tapu Koko and taken some trips to Mt. Silver's Healing Everything Springs, I took the moment to take a break from everything. So far, I've been interested in my laid-back studies of the Alola Region.
The purification from the Spiritomb entering my body, I felt out of it. Thus, I needed to take a break from everything and gradually recover.
I gazed at my Pokémon resting in my room, smiling contentedly. Eevee and Pikachu were on my bed, fast asleep.
And my evolved Kanto Trio were chilling doing their activities. Wartortle is watching some TV, and Ivysaur is getting some sunlight. Charmeleon is sparing with Scizor in the courtyard of the Pokémon School.
I wanted to trade back to Prof. Oak for Gengar after I made sure to ease her worries. My Pokémon were concerned for my well-being, as the only way to make them chill was to have them check up on me for fainting, as I did.
Ultimately, this led me to no longer take the island challenges. At least for now, anyway, from their perspective.
On the plus side, though, I have my main team with me checking on my health. It warms my heart seeing them care that much about me.
At least I have my whole Pokémon living in Alola worried about me. Fortunately, Samson Oak Lab allowed them to chill in place in the Pokémon School, as I get to meet my Pokémon for my safety and their concern.
But I got what I came here for. Checking my Arc Phone, I'm waiting to see if Tapu Koko will hurry up bringing the Z-Crystals.

I've taught Ivysaur well with the moves Energy Ball and Solar Beam in advanced. I knew how to raise my Grass Type well, thanks to Erika's Grass Mystery Secrets. She did train a Bulbasaur after all, and I wanted to follow her example.
*Zzzz*
A light golden flash of electricity came into my room. I turned to see Tapu Koko obediently hold the Z-Crystals I requested as I thanked it kindly, "Thanks for collecting all the Z-Crystals I needed. Also, could you transform my Z-Ring into a Z-Power Ring?"
Tapu Koko simply nodded, placing a hand over my Z-Ring. And in a flash, it changed, becoming a bit bigger and having a nice black color, turning into the Z-Power Ring, a superior version.
[Observe].

Smirking at this, I nodded, appeased. Turning my head to Tapu Koko, I asked, "Thanks. You're free to your duties as Guardian. You can spar with my Arcanine if you're feeling bored."
Tapu Koko simply nodded its face, seemingly interested in its current situation. But I can also sense its competitive spirit when I mentioned it sparred against Arcanine. And in a flash, vanished, only leaving a trail of golden sparks in its wake.
*Zzzz*
Heh. Tapu Koko isn't one to bow to anyone, but thanks to my Gym Badges, his pretty much forced to follow my every command.
It was for this reason that I didn't bother continuing the Island Trials anymore. I just made the excuse of needing time to heal from my injuries, dealing with a Spiritomb that possessed me, and managed to purify it.
Kahuna Hala can attest to my words, as it was true. Not only that, but I had also Alakazam teleport me back to Mt. Silver to heal up to readjust my body again.
To think I'd have to use the Team Rocket method of using my Badge to tame a Legendary Pokémon like Tapu Koko. Sigh… but I suppose drastic times call for drastic measures, seeing the next arc is happening in a few months from now.
Shaking my head, though I did make a deal with Tapu Koko. I'll grant its freedom, but in return, I want the Z-Crystals. It was understood that I wasn't someone to mess with, and Tapu Koko ultimately agreed to my demands.
Although it would be more wary of me, I didn't mind. And from the looks of things, Tapu Koko was getting used to the idea of being captured as it battled my Main Team, seemingly impressed, and eventually stayed with me.
I understood why because of its nature. This Pokémon is called the guardian deity of Melemele Island. It's known for protecting its home, but it is fickle and will not necessarily help people in need. However, it is very curious and may come into play or battle with people or Pokémon that interest it.
Not only that, but I also understood it because of my Viridian Force. It fully submitted to me when we last talked, as it was Tapu Koko's words, 'Survival of the fittest. Strength is everything. The strong follow the stronger. Was there anything wrong with that?'
Those were its words when it got beaten by my Pokémon Team. Specifically, Dragonite, Gengar (Mega Evolution), Arcanine, Pikachu, Eevee (With her forms), and Scizor (Mega Evolution).
When it came to speed, my team just might be a match or slightly below Tapu Koko's with their moves, instincts, or Speed Stats. Not only that, I also promised to release it after my 1 year of school from my team because I couldn't stay here in Alola forever.
Not only that, but I also don't want the citizens of Alola to panic when their Guardian Deity was captured and taken off to another region. Plus, I would like to revisit Alola to relax and not have an angry Alolan Mob after me demanding the release of Tapu Koko.
Also, another thing, the other Tapus. I've made sure not to bother them as two are total jerks with Bufu being chill so long as I don't piss it off.
But thankfully, I've got my team a sparring partner that could prove useful. I want my team to experience fighting a true Legendary Pokémon like Tapu Koko, as I want to prepare them for the Ho-Oh or Lugia, or both, fights ahead.
One could never be too wary out in the world. Plus, my speedster Pokémon like Dragonite, Arcanine, and Pikachu are learning how to amplify their elemental energies into Agility, leaving behind a trail of their elements.
Tapu Koko especially took an interest in my Pikachu's speed. It mentioned it was teaching my Partner Pikachu the move Extreme Speed by evolving its Quick Attack.
Fortunately, Tapu Koko didn't seem to mind as it found worthy opponents to fight that interested it. But changing my gaze to the items Tapu Koko collected, I grinned as he got me the whole set of Z-Crystals.

Heh. With the Fighting Z-Crystal I already got from Hala, I have the complete set. Not only that, but Tapu Koko managed to get the exclusive Z-Crystals of Pikachu, Eevee, and a Lycanroc.
But I don't even own a Lycanroc is the thing. Although I could get a Rock Type for Larvitar to be friends with, as his baby growth stage should be ending soon.
He even seems to be training or playing with the other Pokémon around. Yeah. I think getting another Rock Type to have as a playmate for Larvitar should do nicely.
From what I'd heard, you could find them at Ten Carat Hill. I should visit the place when I have the chance, but I also gotta remember my job, creating new moves. I already sent a few to Silph Co.
I suppose I'll be busy finishing up some class work and then some training. Welp, time to check my Arc Phone to see where I could learn the dances for the Z-Moves.
