The rain pounded against the ground as everyone felt a slight sense of relief looking at the fire, though tension still lingered in the air.

Meanwhile, Ash, suspended above the bridge, cleverly used Charmeleon's backward Flamethrower as propulsion. The force accelerated him forward, allowing him to successfully land on the opposite side of the bridge at a height taller than himself.

The motorcycle's rear wheel hit the ground first. With the surface slick from rain, Ash struggled to push the front of the bike downward. If both wheels didn't touch the ground properly and the motorcycle fell from this height, it would surely shatter on impact.

"Pikachu!" Ash called out.

"Pika!" Pikachu responded, immediately understanding what needed to be done.

The Electric-type Pokémon leaped from Ash's shoulder to the front of the motorcycle. Using his weight and momentum, Pikachu stomped down hard on the front, instantly pressing the front wheel to the ground.

They couldn't relax yet, as the bridge continued to rise beneath them. Without reducing speed, Ash raced downward toward level ground.

Finally, as the bridge completed its upward arc, the motorcycle touched flat ground like a bullet shooting forward. Glancing behind him, Ash gradually decreased his speed. Thanks to Pikachu and Charmeleon's teamwork, they had made it across safely.

"Well done!" Ash praised his Pokémon with a spontaneous smile.

"Pika pika!"

"Char!"

Both Pokémon responded in unison as Ash continued forward on the motorcycle. Moving much faster than a bicycle would have allowed, he quickly passed through the cycling road. The Pokémon Center wasn't far now.

After entering Sunnytown, Ash followed the main road straight ahead. Fortunately, the heavy rain had kept people and vehicles off the streets, making for smooth travel the entire way.

At that moment, Nurse Joy was anxiously waiting at the entrance of the Pokémon Center. The injured Shellder's condition had worsened, and she urgently needed the special medicine.

With the downpour so intense, she worried the medicine might not arrive at all. After waiting outside for what seemed like forever without seeing anyone approach, she assumed the cycling road bridges must have been raised to allow ships to pass, preventing anyone from crossing.

Nurse Joy was about to return inside to perform emergency treatment on Shellder when a sound caught her attention.

Vroom! Vroom!

The deep rumble of an engine made her instinctively pause and turn her head. Through the wind and rain, she spotted a boy approaching on a motorcycle with a Pikachu and Charmeleon.

She turned and walked outside as Ash quickly arrived and parked in front of the Pokémon Center. He jumped off the bike and immediately opened his backpack.

The bag, specially designed for traveling Trainers, was completely waterproof. Despite the torrential rain, its contents remained perfectly dry. Ash retrieved the special medicine that the other Nurse Joy had prepared.

"Sorry for the wait. Here's the medicine for Shellder!" Ash handed the package to Nurse Joy.

"Thank you for coming all this way despite the terrible weather!" Nurse Joy looked at Ash's soaked clothes with concern. Although she didn't know how he had managed to cross when the bridge was raised, it was clear he had braved significant danger to deliver the medicine.

Grateful for his efforts, Nurse Joy took the medicine and quickly led Ash inside the Pokémon Center.

She rushed off to treat Shellder while instructing her Chansey to prepare a resting area for Ash, Pikachu, and Charmeleon. The room had a heater, and Chansey provided towels and hot drinks to warm them up.

After drying off Pikachu and Charmeleon first, Ash began drying his own hair. In the heated room, he laid out his clothes to dry while watching the storm rage outside the window.

In this coastal city, the hurricane-like rain came and went quickly. Within about an hour, Ash's clothes were nearly dry, and the terrifying downpour gradually subsided.

The clouds dispersed, the weather cleared, and the bridges on both sides of the closed cycling road were finally lowered again.

Misty and Brock, who had taken shelter from the heavy rain with Officer Jenny and the others, were now traveling by car toward Sunnytown.

Knock knock!

"Ash, are you alright?" The door opened as Nurse Joy entered. Her previously worried expression had been replaced with a smile.

"I'm fine! How's Shellder doing?" Ash asked.

"The special medicine worked perfectly. There's no cause for concern anymore, thanks to you!" Nurse Joy responded cheerfully.

Ash nodded slightly and looked outside at the rain, which had finally stopped. Misty and the others should be able to cross now. He stood up and walked outside, with Nurse Joy following behind.

Not long after, the sound of sirens reached their ears. In the distance, Officer Jenny's motorcycle appeared first, followed by several police cars. Misty and the others were following on bicycles.

The window of one police car opened, and Misty poked her head out. Seeing Ash standing at the entrance of the Pokémon Center, she breathed a sigh of relief and called out to him.

"Ash!!"

Hearing Misty's voice, Ash turned and waved to her and Brock. Officer Jenny spotted Ash as well and felt relieved, though she secretly admired the young Trainer's courage.

"Ash, are you okay?" Misty and Brock exited the car and rushed over to him. Tears still lingered in Misty's eyes.

"I'm fine, really! Don't act like I actually died or something." Ash waved his hand dismissively.

"Honestly, don't jinx it! You were just lucky this time. Don't do something so reckless again!" Even knowing Ash probably wouldn't listen, Misty couldn't help but lecture him.

"I know, I know!" Ash responded with a casual wave, which Misty recognized as mere lip service, but there wasn't much else she could do.

"How's Shellder doing?" Brock asked, and Nurse Joy smiled as she answered.

"Thanks to Ash, Shellder is going to be just fine. Thank you all for your hard work!"

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that Shellder would recover. At that moment, a group of people with serious expressions suddenly approached and surrounded Ash, Misty, and Brock.

"What... what are you doing?" Misty asked, startled by their approach.

"Big Brother!!!" Marsha and Tyra led the group of boys as they all bowed deeply at a ninety-degree angle and shouted with utmost sincerity.
