poetry This is me

I know I'm a disappointment but honestly it's the life I live that chose me,

Yeah I know you dreamed of a raising a doctor but really , it never really went well with my choice,

I loved being free unconfined by the spaces in between ,

Your expectations were too high really I'm just a person who wants to live,

Just say my prayers and let the anger die from within,

I publish my heart and mind to the world for you to see,

I know sometimes you may wonder if you planted the right seed

But really I'm just my own different breed,

It's my choice but I'm sorry about your dreams,

I wanna write poetry and maybe get rich,

Yeah I know that one is not guaranteed

But my real worry is will my family ever be able to feed?

Really I can't let fate pull all the strings

I know a lot about that guy you see,

I'm gonna jump in there and be the cause,

It's gonna be hard for me well ofcourse,

Tell me when it had never been ,

I won't wait for an opportunity to seek,

I know you may be disappointed by my thoughts

But really that is my choice.
