Hatake Satoru turned his head in confusion and saw a tall, muscular, dark-skinned man who looked like he was sparking with electricity.

At first glance, it looked like he was cosplaying as a Super Saiyan.

But from the way he looked and carried himself, this had to be the Fourth Raikage, A.

"Ahhh! Wait, wait, this guy's supposed to be my rap teacher!"

"He's not a bad—"

Before Killer Bee could finish, A charged straight at Hatake Satoru.

The wind whipped through Killer Bee and Kimimaro's hair.

Apparently, since Kimimaro was just a kid, A ignored him and went straight for Hatake Satoru.

He flew forward like a lightning bolt, leaving behind a trail of blue light in the air, along with a crackling electric sound.

Hatake Satoru slowly stroked his chin and smiled as the lightning figure dashed toward him.

"Wow~ Showing up and giving me this kind of welcome? You must really think highly of me."

This guy… he's not even trying to dodge?

Killer Bee stared in panic at Hatake Satoru, who hadn't moved an inch. A's speed wasn't something you could just shrug off.

Earlier, Killer Bee had only sparred a little with a sword—it hadn't been a real fight.

But using that same attitude against A? No way that would work.

Kimimaro frowned as he watched the two. Since Hatake Satoru didn't call for help, he must be confident he could handle it on his own.

But this was nothing like before.

A was coming at him with the kind of force that could kill.

In a flash, Hatake Satoru vanished right in front of A—there wasn't even a blur left behind.

Covered in deep blue lightning, A looked up and saw Hatake Satoru floating in the air with a carefree grin.

"Space ninjutsu?"

Just in that instant, A figured out the basic idea behind Hatake Satoru's technique.

Instead of moving with pure speed, it was more like he cut out a part of space and jumped to a different spot.

A had seen something similar before—from the "Yellow Flash" of the Hidden Leaf, Namikaze Minato.

But that guy used special kunai to teleport around.

"Pretty close~ but it's a little different."

Hatake Satoru adjusted his blindfold midair and answered casually.

Understanding how space ninjutsu works usually takes figuring out its weak points—but for Hatake Satoru, this teleportation was just his basic way of moving.

It was so simple that it actually became impossible to counter.

Unless he was trapped in a tight, cluttered space full of obstacles, there was no way to stop his teleportation.

And if it *was* a tight space, that would just limit his enemies even more.

Either way, Hatake Satoru wouldn't be at a disadvantage.

Before he could even finish talking, A leapt into the air, his elbow glowing with bright blue Lightning Release chakra.

The wind howled, and A shot upward, lighting up the area with crackling electricity.

"Heavy Current Slam!"

With a deep shout, A drove his elbow straight at Hatake Satoru.

But just as he was about to hit, Hatake Satoru suddenly dropped downward.

His silver hair was even pulled slightly by the static, but the next moment, he was already sitting on the ground.

He brushed his hair back, raised one finger, and tilted his head with a grin.

"Hmm, just a little too slow."

"Even though it's fast, the way he moves and the way he cuts through space still feel different."

A's eyes quickly scanned the ground—and even the area around them. There wasn't a single mark left by a kunai or anything like that.

At least Namikaze Minato would throw a marker. So what was this guy using to move?

Hatake Satoru turned to Kimimaro and pointed at A, who was still in midair.

This muscular dark-skinned guy clearly wasn't the same type as them.

With a landing like that, it really felt like he could crush Hatake Satoru with his weight alone.

Kimimaro hadn't seen much growing up, so just seeing all this was enough to show him that his Kekkei Genkai was just one among many.

There were people in Kumogakure who were even scarier than him.

Kimimaro looked at Hatake Satoru, who had just appeared on the ground, and nodded blankly.

To be honest, just seeing these two today had completely changed how he saw the world.

So strong. So fast.

His eyes couldn't even keep up!

Killer Bee had seen real battles before, but what Hatake Satoru was doing was so strange it was hard to make sense of.

"You idiot—moron—this isn't the time to be giving commentary!"

"Boom—!!"

Right after Killer Bee spoke, a bolt of blue lightning shot down from above Hatake Satoru's head.

The spot where Hatake Satoru had just been sitting was instantly covered in smoke and dust.

Kimimaro and Killer Bee instinctively shielded their faces and stepped back.

The whole ground shook from A's stomp, and Kimimaro could barely stay standing.

Cracks spread across the ground like a spiderweb, breaking the earth into chunks of rubble.

A stood in the middle of a deep pit, frowning slightly.

There was nothing under his feet but broken stone and dust. Hatake Satoru was already gone.

Even though he was chatting earlier, he hadn't let his guard down at all.

This guy really was something else.

"You're jumping around like a rabbit—why don't you ever fight back?!"

"And what's with your ability anyway? You didn't even use anything like a kunai!"

A waved away the smoke. The lightning around him had faded, and he shouted at Hatake Satoru.

"Has he always been like this? Maybe he's hitting middle age or something."

Hatake Satoru's light voice suddenly came from behind Killer Bee and Kimimaro.

"Whoa!?"

"When did you get behind us!?"

The two of them almost jumped out of their skin and quickly moved to the sides.

This guy was way too sneaky. With all the smoke and dust earlier, they had no idea he was already behind them.

"I've been here the whole time."

Hatake Satoru shrugged a little, looking a bit innocent.

"There's no reason for me to fight you."

"If I fought you guys, I'd have to hold back so you wouldn't die, and still pretend I'm giving it my all."

"That's really tiring, you know."
