As soon as he heard those words, he just looked at me.... I was trying to avoid his gaze as much as possible because I actually dont know how to explain this to him and then after a few seconds, he say something..... Shocking..... Bone shattering... Mind blowi--

"System? What's that?"

We both looked at each other. Confused. I think he doesn't know what the system is, I mean I didn't explain everything so clearly to him and I know that this is supposed to be expected since he was a mercenary since he was only 4 years old. I bet he doesn't even know what a webtoon is.

"Well what I meant is i-- y'know-- have you ever read a webtoon?"

Julian just looked at me. It's a looked of a confused man trying to find an answer. Based on what he looks like right now, I think he is saying on his mind: Webtoon? Whats that?

"What is webtoon?"

Yep, just as I expected. What can't I think of such a common sense? That's supposed to be expected self!

"Oh yeah, what did I expect? You are a mercenary almodt all your life since you were four how are you gonna know what webtoon is right?"

I chuckled a bit when I say those words and then I looked at the status window and try to find something there. Come to think of it, I didn't actually fully know what the system is full capable of doing and how far the quest and reward is gonna get.

How can I explained something to my friend when even me, the owner of the system or the current owner of the system don't even know how this thing works? How idiot of me to not think to that extent when it's not even that far to think about.

Julian was just looking at me there as if he was waiting for my answer and at the same time asking himself on how did I managed to know and find out how is he a mercenary? How is he a mercenary since he was four and many more. I think he is thinking that I even know more about him than to him himself but, I can assure him that i didn't know anything about him. I actually wanna asked him about his life than to know through system.

"Hey system, is there any way that I can also show you to another person? Like... Uh..... Just to that one specific person....?"

The system didn't answer for a few seconds but after a moment, something appeared Infront of me.

I was gonna pick the option yes to be able to see the conditions and if it is dangerous, I'm gonna stop it and don't let Julian see the system.

He looks more and more confused the more I say something out of nowhere so I really needed to let him see the system now.

To be honest, this is getting more and more interesting the more I keep knowing a lot about the system. I hope that Julian keep this as a secret though.

I think he got shocked when I just say something so random again but those shock expression from his face disappeared when the system shows up Infront of him.

He says with a shock and can't believe expression written all over his face. Well, that's also my reaction when I first got the system so I can't blame him.

"It's the system I'm talking about, you need to agree to the conditions of the system for it to agree and let you see the system when it appeared Infront of me"

I explained to him which is he buys it already. How is he believing all my words without even confirming it first? Is it because of the system?

He asked while slightly sweating because of how nervous or excited he is. I think he is currently thinking that he discovered something so special. Well I guess you can call it that because, even a person who dont live as a mercenary, suffered a pain of being alone and without living through war all their life, they never know what the system is. If they do, I think they only saw it on a comics.

3. YOU WILL NOT KEEP A SECRET FROM THE PLAYER. THIS CONDITION IS OPTIONAL IF THE PLAYER IS GONNA ALLOW IT. IF THE PLAYER AGREES, YOU ARE NOT ALLOW TO HAVE A SECRET FROM THE PLAYER, EVEN IF IT IS YOUR DEEPEST AND DARKEST SECRET. IF YOU DO, THE SYSTEM WILL GIVE YOU A PUNISHMENT DEPENDING ON HOW DEEP THE SECRET YOU KEEP FROM HIM.

4. YOU WILL BE FRIENDS WITH THE PLAYER.

5. IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO AGREE TO THIS CONDITIONS, IT IS OKAY BUT, YOU WILL AGREE TO THE SYSTEM TO FORCIBLY ERASED YOUR MEMORY OF THIS MOMENT AND EVERY SINGLE TRACE ABOUT THE SYSTEM YOU HAVE FOUND IF EVER.)
