If it weren't for Crocodile being a legitimate Shichibukai and Kael being a legitimate Emperor of an Allied Nation, he would have sent CP0 to eliminate these restless individuals. What this world needed was stability and balance.

Just then, a knock sounded outside the Highest Authority Office, and the Gorosei's discussion temporarily halted.

"Come in."

Following Topman Warcury Saint, the God of Law's voice, a girl with long sleeves and a military cap, possessing heterochromatic eyes, walked into the office.

"Your Excellencies, the latest news just came from CP0."

"Kael, the Emperor of the Goa Empire, reported to the World Government that he discovered the Shichibukai Crocodile's conspiracy to usurp Alabasta."

"Kael claimed that he captured one of Crocodile's subordinates and discovered intelligence that Crocodile was searching for Pluton in Alabasta."

"Kael applied to legitimately subjugate Crocodile for the World Government, to eliminate such pirate scum for the World Government and Alabasta. He also wants to buy the Devil Fruit weapon technology at a high price."

Gunzi, a God's Knight, quickly reported the intelligence she held to the Gorosei, awaiting their decision.

"Pluton?"

"No wonder Crocodile has been holed up in Alabasta. I originally thought it was because he, a Natural-type Sand-Sand Fruit user, liked the desert climate and wanted the home-field advantage. I didn't expect this guy to have actually discovered intelligence about Pluton. He's got some nerve."

Each of the Gorosei had lived for hundreds of years, and they all looked down on 'schemers' like Crocodile, who were only a few decades old. To lie dormant in Alabasta for 10 or 20 years for a mere shred of information about Pluton. In the eyes of the Gorosei, it was simply ridiculous. The World Government also knew that the Pluton blueprints were in Water 7 and had been searching for their whereabouts all these years. There was a huge intelligence gap between them and these ants. Crocodile's attempt to obtain information about Pluton from the Nefertari family was merely a minor disturbance. However, since Crocodile dared to cross this bottom line, he had to be dealt with. The World Government did not want any accidents to disrupt world stability.

"Is Kael's appetite that big? He wants to get Devil Fruit weapon technology just for dealing with a Crocodile?" Nasujuro Saint sneered. If they wanted to deal with Crocodile, they wouldn't need to rely on Kael at all. How dare Kael make such an outrageous demand.

"Kuma just replaced Hanafza. Do we need to find a new Shichibukai again?" Satan Saint frowned. He had only threatened Kuma into becoming a Shichibukai by holding Bonney hostage. If Crocodile was ousted, where would they find a strong and obedient pirate to become a Shichibukai?
