Persona 5 - Dark Phantom

(Ren is taking a train back from Kichijoji, standing in stationary along with a crowd of people as he clings on to the handle.)

Ren: .....

(He continues with the worried expression, Morgana notices.)

Morgana: Ren?.....

Ren: .....

.....

.....

[March 20, 2017]

[Tokyo Station]

(It's the last day of Ren's time in Tokyo, Everyone has gathered around in the train station, waiting with Ren for his train before he leaves.)

Ren: *sigh*

Ryuji: Hey come on dude, You could always come visit back.

Ann: Yeah! It'd be boring if you aren't here in our summer vacations

Ren: Heh.... I was planning about that actually.

Morgana: I'm really gonna miss you all.

(Ann pets Morgana.)

Morgana: HIHIHIHIHI.....

Ann: It's not gonna be the same without you.

(Sumire walks to Ren)

Sumire: R-Ren....

Ren: Hey..

Sumire: I....have something for you to keep, I know you'll be far away from us so....

(Sumire pulls out a heart-shaped pendant )

Ren: What's this?

Sumire: .....This is for you.

(Ren opens the pendant,  Which shows a picture of him and her smiling together .)

Sumire: Please keep it close it with you, I need you to hold it dear.

Ren: I promise.....

(Ren smiles, They hug each other.)

Yusuke: *sniff*

Ryuji: Dude, For real?

Yusuke: I-I'm not-

(Ryuji pats Yusuke's shoulder.)

Ryuji: I don't blame ya...

Makoto: I'm gonna feel bad for Sumire.

(Ren and Sumire stopped hugging.)

....

(The train arrives.)

Sumire: Goodbye, Ren...

Ren: It's okay..... I'll come back from time to time.

(The door of the train opens.)

Ren: Well..... I gotta get going, I'll see you all next time!

(Everyone waves goodbye to Ren.)

(Ren enters in and takes an empty seat.)

Ren: ahh.....

(He looks at the windows, and sees his friends waving goodbye, He smiles and waves them back. The train moves, and Ren looks at Sumire who's smiling with tears.)

Ren: *sigh*

(Ren leans his head by the window.)

.....

.....

(Minutes have passed, As the train passes by the tunnel. Ren pulls out the pendant Sumire gave to him, he opens it to look at the picture of him with her together. Morgana notices.)

Morgana: Oh man, it's gonna suck for you being far away from her.

Ren: I know.....

(Ren is walking back to the cafe with Morgana.)

Morgana: So wait..... you're saying the nose himself summoned you?

Ren: Yeah, he told me that a "great danger" is coming. He told me about.... how something from the distorted world will take on ours because of a fullscale threat that's about to happen.

Morgana: Wait- What?!

Ren: I know, I didn't believe it myself at first. But I have this feeling that... whatever is happening right now....

Morgana: Is connected?

Ren: Yeah.

Morgana: Hey- lets not jump into that conclusion yet..... Though I'm still a little confused..... "Something from the distorted world."... could it mean..... the Shadows?

Ren: ..... Yeah that's possible, after what happened back there in Kichijoji.....

.....

(Ren's eyes widened as he recalls Igor's words.)

Igor: "The sins of the false distorting world has taken on to your world prior to our meeting".

(Ren then remembers the news report he watched this morning.)

News Reporter: "-sudden rising amounts of murders and disturbance of peace in all throughout Tokyo. The reason behind these occurrences is still unknown."

Ren: Morgana..... I think you're possibly right.

Morgana: Really?!

Ren: That's what Igor said to me, and it pretty much all lines up.

Morgana: Now the entire world IS the Metaverse.

Ren: Seems like it if you put it in that perspective.....

Morgana: Though..... this means we can't change any hearts?

Ren: Maybe. Well if we were to encounter people who are malicious enough.....

Morgana: It wouldn't do much.

Ren: Yeah I guess. Looks like constantly keeping them in check is the way.

Morgana: We changed the hearts of those who are stubborn, I can't imagine doing that without the Metaverse..... huh..... am I starting to miss it?

Ren: Let's-..... not think that over, we still have much more to figure things out. Well I still shift into my form and Arsène feels the same like how he used to be.

Morgana: Hey wait a sec- Do you think I can do it too?

Ren: Do what?

(Morgana jumps out from the bag, Ren stops walking. Morgana then firmly grips his paws to the ground as he closes his eyes.)

Morgana: Hmmmmph!

.....

(Nothing happens, Ren raises his eyebrow for a bit as he is confused.)

Morgana: W-what? No..... Come on! hrrrNNNNG!

.....

.....

(A smoke instantly puffs out from Morgana.)

Ren: ?!

(The smoke dissipates away, revealing Morgana to be in his cartoony Metaverse form.)

Ren: !

Mona: Nyehehehe! Looks like the good 'ol Mona is back!

Ren: Surprised it didn't take much for you to struggle.

Mona: What can I say? I'm a natural! Hehe, Let's see how Zorro's holding up..... Persona!

...

...

(Nothing happened.....)

Ren: What? But-

Mona: H-huh?! But I'm supposed to-

( Blue flames suddenly appear near Ren and Morgana, it forms up into a humanoid with a big upper body. )

Ren and Mona: !

( The flames slowly disappear, revealing to be Morgana's Persona "Zorro". )

Zorro: Sorry for the delay, it has been awhile..... my rightful master. Let us fight through what stands against us with our comrades, once more!

(He makes a set of quick slashes on the air with his rapier before returning to his fighting stance.)

Mona: YES!

(Mona withdraws Zorro.)

Mona: But wait a second, Do people not notice this?

Ren: .....

(Ren recalls Lavenza's words.)

Lavenza: "Do not worry. Any man who do not wield a Persona are not capable to see your Persona with their naked eye."

Ren: If I recall..... People who aren't Persona-users can't see it

Morgana: Huh, that's neat! At least we don't have to run into troubles from the public.

Ren: Yeah, you're right.

Morgana: We gotta tell everyone about this.

Ren: That's what I'm about to do. Come on, let's head back in first.

(Mona switches back to his normal form and jumps back into the bag, Ren continues walking back.)

[Café Leblanc]

(Ren enters in, seeing Sojiro who has just finished up his work.)

Ren: I'm home.

Sojiro: Oh- Well looks like you're the man of the house again. I'm closing up shop.

Ren: Oh- alright.

Sojiro: And don't forget about tomorrow

Ren: ..... Yeah, Goodnight Sakura-san.

(Sojiro exits through the door and flips the sign to "Close". He then leaves LeBlanc)

Ren: Well, time to hit the sack.

(Ren heads upstairs to his room, and lies down to his bed.)

Ren: ...

(He makes a worried look, he is unable to sleep. Morgana notices.)

Morgana: You feeling okay?

Ren: Yeah, yeah....

(Morgana jumps to Ren's body.)

Morgana: Hey come on, Whatever the "nose" said, we will find her! I know how much she means to you, and she's our friend too. We can and will end what's ahead of us sooner with her on our side.

(Ren smiles in response, feeling encouraged.)

Ren: Thanks.

(He pulls out his phone, and opens the messaging app. He goes to the Phantom Thieves Group Chat.)

[IM MESSAGE GROUP CHAT]

Ren: "@everyone"

Ann: "?"

Ren: "I don't want to alarm you but"

.....

Ren: "My Persona returned"

Makoto: "What?"

Haru: "Huh??"

Ryuji: "Am I seeing that right? PERSONA?!"

Ren: "Yeah"

Futaba: "how????????"

Ren: "I was looking for Sumire around Kichijoji, when I was stopped by some thugs"

.....

Ren: "Suddenly Arsène just came back, and I still turned into my "Phantom Thief" look too"

.....

Ren: "And It's not just me, Morgana too"

Makoto: "Wait, so the Metaverse is back?!"

Ren: "No."

Futaba: "what? wait.... that doesnt make sense at all! how are we gonna steal hearts then?"

Ren: "I don't know, it's weird seeing myself like this in the real world."

Haru: "Makes my head scratch, we destroyed the Metaverse and yet your Persona still returned?"

Ryuji: "Huh, Where the hell's mine then?"

Ren: "It'll take time, that's according to what Igor said"

Ryuji: "That long nose old man we met years back?"

Makoto: "Surprised you still remember"

.....

Makoto: "Anything else from him?"

Ren: "Not much, they themselves don't know much of what's happening either. They gave us the ability to use our Personas as a measure."

Yusuke: "What about Sumire? Have you found her?"

Ren: "No"

Makoto: "Damn"

Futaba: "ill keep you posted if i found something, sit tight ren!"

Makoto: "Wait"

.....

Makoto: "with your Persona coming back"

.....

Makoto: "Isn't that supposed to imply that the fundamentals of the Metaverse is applied too? At least some way of it"

.....

Ren: "Yeah, right now it's the Shadows"

Ryuji: "What?!"

Ren: "Igor told me that Shadows take in the form of humans"

Ann: "Oh my god..... Shadows that walk on the real world??"

Makoto: "That must explain the sudden cases of attacks going around Tokyo!"

Ryuji: "Luckily I heard in the news that it's just around there, would be a pain in my ass if it's in Osaka too"

.....

Ryuji: "Damn, still can't believe it tho. It's like the past is creeping up on us or smthn!"

Ann: "Wait how can we even know what's what?"

Ren: "Luckily I can tell. It's within their souls."

Futaba: "doesn't that just take the role of my persona? O.O"

Ren: "No, I mean you can know their capabilities and amounts and such, I'm just like a forewarning."

Makoto: "Regardless, we all better watch our backs. We don't have our Personas yet."

Ren: "Forgot to mention: Igor tells me a great danger is coming our way."

Ryuji: "Great danger??"

Makoto: "Oh great now I'm beginning to see how things are lining up."

Ann: "Oh god oh god"

Futaba: "ann calm down ik how you feel (◞‸◟)"

Yusuke: "Great.... danger?"

Ren: "And someone doing it onto us, I don't know who..."

Ryuji: "Oh great atleast we know it's a person, What? Someone's heart we gotta change?"

Makoto: "Then again the Metaverse isn't around anymore..... I guess you have to take things in person."

Haru: "How do we even change someone in person?"

Ren: "I'm gonna find out, otherwise I'm a walking ordinary man with superpowers."

Makoto: "That's one way to put it in perspective."

Futaba: "let's not be deterred by it, like ren said, he got his persona then we can too!"

Ryuji: "I hope! 'Be nice to tear shit up again!"

Makoto: "I get the hunch Sumire's disappearance is part of this great danger."

Ren: "I hope not"

.....

Ren: "Anyway I have to rest up"

.....

Ren: "Again, lets make sure we all watch our backs, we don't know who or what is about to get a drop on us"

Ren: "stay safe!"

Makoto: "We will, Ren"

[June 11 2020, Thursday]

[9:00 AM]

(Ren spends almost the entire day serving customers)

Ren: Damn-..... I forgot the ingredients for this one.

Morgana: Huh?! Quiet ironic, I learned this one from you and you forgot?

Ren: It's been years, okay? I'm sorry.

Morgana: Come on, is this what I'd expect from someone who wants to run his own shop?!

Sojiro: Hey-

(Both Ren and Morgana heard Sojiro, they looked at him in response.)

Sojiro: Tell Morgana to calm down, he's disturbing the customers.

Ren: *sigh*

(Ren focuses back to his work.)

Ren: Morgana..... please?

Morgana: Fine..... I'll help you out this once.

Ren: Thanks.

[7:50 PM]

(Ren is resting by the counter, watching the customers eat their food and drink coffee. Sojiro walks to Ren after finishing off from washing the dishes.)

Sojiro: Well I'm impressed you still got it!

Ren: Sure it wasn't easy..... I'm beat!

Sojiro: Alright you can go rest, I'll handle the remaining hours.

Ren: Really?

Sojiro: Yeah, I insist.

Ren: T-thank you!

(Ren heads up to his room and removes the his olive-colored apron. He sits on his bed and lets out an exhausted sigh, relieving from the stress.)

Ren: .....

(Ren's phone vibrated from his pockets.)

Ren: Hmm?

(He pulls out his phone to check the notification. It's a message from Futaba.)

Futaba: "meet me at my room, you need to see this. quick!"

(Ren quickly stands up in an alarmed manner.)

Ren: (What could it possibly be?)

(As Ren glances at the message, Morgana notices, seeing his serious expression.)

Morgana: What's wrong?

Ren: Futaba needs me, she founded something.

(Ren gets off from his bed, he grabs for his duffle bag. Morgana gets inside as Ren heads down. Sojiro notices.)

Sojiro: Where are you going?

Ren: Futaba.

Sojiro: Mmm, alright.

(He exits the cafe and walks to the Sakura house, located nearby from his right.)

[Front Door, Sakura Residence]

(Ren buzzes the door bell, he waits for Futaba as he bears a serious yet concerned look on his face.)

Ren: .....

.....

(Futaba opens the door, she walks through the front yard to open the entrance gate.)

Futaba: You're here. Great!

Ren: What's wrong?

Futaba: Come here and look, you have to see this.

(Ren walks in as Futaba closes the gate. They enter in to the house, Futaba leads Ren to her room.)

[Futaba's Room]

Futaba: I got something about Sumire.

Ren: What about it?

(Futaba sits down to her chair and uses her computer.)

Futaba: I managed to backtrack where Sumire was seen based on the data from her last messages. It took me awhile on checking the nearest points on where would Sumire be, cross referencing and such..... and..... I found footage of her.

(Futaba clicks the video file, showing a surveillance recording. Ren observes.)

Ren: !

[June 9 2020, Tuesday]

[10:00 PM]

[???]

(Sumire is exiting down a dark alley.)

....

(Lights suddenly flash in front of her, revealing to be a  black van .)

Ren: What the-

(The video freezes.)

Futaba: What? Hold on just a second-

(Futaba rapidly clicks, hoping it would get a response..... but nothing happened. The screen begins to flicker.)

Futaba: What the-??

(The screen goes black, her computer becomes unresponsive.)

Futaba: Nononono- NO!

Ren: What happened?

Futaba: I-I don't know!

(Ren lets out an anxious sigh.)

Ren: Damn it!

Morgana: Sumire got kidnapped?

(Ren looks away, hands clasped at the back of his head out as his anxiety continues.)

Futaba: Come on come on!

(A small white underline is blinking on the top left, she tries to find a way to fix her computer.)

.....

(The white underline continues blinking.)

.....

( It begins typing out by itself .)

Everyone: ?!

.....

"good evening."

.....

(They all glanced at the screen. The underline then shifts into the next line below.)

Futaba: ..... No..... looks like someone got ahold of my computer!

.....

"it's been awhile"

.....

Ren: What?

.....

" the phantom thieves of heart. "

(Everyone is taken into a massive shock, seeing the very text before their eyes.)

Morgana: Someone's onto us!

.....

"your actions to the world are quiet phenomenal"

.....

(Futaba taps on her keyboard..... but no input is registered.)

"you wish for a world without desires"

.....

"and in turn you inspire many who can be like you"

.....

"you did it..... but..... that didn't do you well, admit it"

.....

"you still see men with the most....."

.....

"desirability in them..... something that can  still  shake the inner core of human morality"

Ren: Tch-

.....

"does harken back to the old times, doesn't it?"

.....

"you miss them, you're nothing without those  sweet sweet desiring hearts to change ."

Morgana: The heck do they think they are?!

.....

"this is not an act of encouragement, a cry for help nor a proposal of a collaboration"

.....

"i ask you to"

.....

" drop this. "

Morgana: Someone wants us out of the picture, huh?!

Futaba: Great- I can't get ourselves out of this!

Ren: Let it be, I want to hear what they say.

.....

"you think your job of fixing society's malice would prove an effect to the world? no."

.....

"you can't burn what's within our nature, and you make it worse for all of us"

(They all slowly expressed upset, as they continues reading the message.)

.....

"now society is out for you, the cops and their higher-ups. they want you in bars, maybe dead too."

.....

"to add..... you've become a meme. now there are people who are willing to bend the law just like you. putting our society more into a discourse."

Ren: What?!

Morgana: People like.... us?!

Futaba: What do they mean by that?!

"you've done nothing more than leave your job unfinished, and that job took away something big from us..... we  had to ensure our survival by multiplying ourselves into something bigger and better ."

.....

"but ill stop complaining, you keep doing what you do and i wont stop you...."

.....

"lets just see if  she  wouldn't suffer the consequences you made."

(The screen instantly pops back to the desktop screen.)

Ren: .....

Morgana: .....

Futaba: What the.....

Ren: ..... That last part..... "she wouldn't suffer the consequences you made".

Morgana: She?

(Ren's eyes sharpened, as he instantly pieces the meaning of that message all together.)

Ren: ..... Sumire.

Futaba: You think they're referencing her?

Ren: They're warning us to stop, and using her as their bargaining chip.

(Ren breathes in with his eyes closed, then lets out another sigh as his eyes opened.)

Ren: Damn!

Futaba: After all these years, someone has a bone to pick with us?

Morgana: They have a point though..... desires are part of our nature.

Futaba: So what explains are prevail against that gigantic god years back?

Morgana: From the looks of it..... we did what we can. After all who we are up against back then was controlled by the "god". But after we defeated him, it's like it's as if we only just cleaned up the planet for it to eventually get dirty again. Those years since then it grew back and we couldn't do anything about it now that the Metaverse is gone.

Ren: I think that.... The Metaverse isn't part of this, despite our Personas and the Shadows.

Morgana: How?

Ren: Igor said who we are up against is related to the last guest. I'm assuming this guest didn't had a Metaverse to begin with.

Morgana: Guest?

Ren: As in the last person who was in my shoes..... Well I guess implies there are more people like us years ago.

Morgana: Maybe!

Futaba: It'd be interesting though... But- ANYWAY-... So.... what we did was just useless?.... All we did was just take away the evil desires to help people around us. Even though it's a desire in itself.

Ren: There are good desires and bad ones, latter being too many as we all know.... at least the world isn't as messed up as it was back then.

Futaba: Still though..... we're basically watching everything grow back up again, with Ren and your Personas coming back.....

Morgana: Our entire goal was to clean out the big and rough spots of men with the most twisted desires.... I really don't know how our fate's gonna play out this time.

Futaba: A great danger coming, that's all they said.

Ren: They're a little unaware of the details about this other than what I just said, they're taking a measure by granting us to use our Personas here.

Morgana: I guess you could say they're familiar with this phenomenon in some sense. But anyway- Lets not entirely focus on that part for now, we need to think about Sumire because those messages somewhat implied a clue about her.

Ren: You're right, Think you can track them down?

Futaba: No way in hell I can, my hands were tied back there!

Morgana: How the heck are we going to find her then?

Ren: Let's use what we got so far.

Futaba: All they did was make a sign of threat for us to stop doing our "job". Believing we're making things worse.

Morgana: The message popped up right after we saw that video of Sumire.

Ren: Put that back on.

(Futaba goes to her folder where she kept the video.....  only for it to be gone .)

Futaba: W-What?!

Ren: Why?

Futaba: They deleted it..... the video!

Morgana: Huh?!

Ren: That just confirms more of my suspicions. Damn!

(Ren turns to his back in anger..... he then takes a deep breath and faces back to them.)

Futaba: Ren?

Ren: I'm fine.... I'm fine.

(Morgana lets out a sigh.)

Morgana: We don't even know who they are.

Futaba: And yet they got a hacker too, good move but now I'm pissed!

Ren: These guys..... they mentioned about how the cops are into us, and people who are like.... us?

Futaba: I'm assuming it's those fans, you know how much they miss us after all these years.

Morgana: How about in a literal context, what IF someone's out there trying to be like us?

Futaba: Like trying to change hearts too? They don't even have the Metaverse.

Ren: Wait-.... they did implied something about themselves.

Futaba: What would that be?

Ren: They're a group. That's what I can think of.

Morgana: Maybe, I'd be surprised if it isn't just a one man show, especially who try to be like us.

Ren: Wait.....

(Ren slowly looks down as he thinks further, the two notice.)

Futaba: Ren?

Ren: .....

Morgana: What is it?

Ren: They said that..... we took away something big from them..... they multiplied themselves out of it.

Futaba: We? What did we took?

Morgana: They sound like as if..... we met before.

Ren: That's what I believe.

Futaba: Took away something big..... they had to survive by being bigger.....

Morgana: Judging by the tone, they sound really personal. Must explain why they took in Sumire.

Ren: Must be, okay let's take that into assumption.

Futaba: That doesn't sound far too off.

Morgana: I can see things aligning here.

Ren: Lets backtrack to our last time being the Phantom Thieves.....

Morgana: Could it be the government? I mean we fought Shido.

Ren: No, the government has access to better tools than that of a hacker. They wouldn't just hack Futaba as a means to deliver a message.

Futaba: And It's the government, they'd rather send in men in suits rather than hack me.

Morgana: Fair point.

Futaba: Well I'm pretty sure Okumura Foods wouldn't do that either, that'd be petty of them.

Morgana: Even without Mr. Okumura around, that doesn't sound off.

Ren: We need to think in a lesser hierarchy level here, someone up there usually don't have much enough grudge to those below them.

Futaba: Yeah, good idea.

(The three brainstorm, the room becomes quiet as everyone thinks.)

(Ren's eyes slowly widened, followed by Futaba..... then Morgana.)

Ren and Futaba: Kaneshiro!

Morgana: Yeah! Had the same thought!

Futaba: I remember..... the Kaneshiro mafia is still going from all these years!

Ren: Kaneshiro being the boss of a mafia, we managed to put him behind bars once we stole his heart.

Futaba: He was rolling in biiiig dough just to fund in for Shido.

Morgana: Wait, aren't they supposed to fall over?

Ren: Yeah. But seems like they did put themselves back on the map.

Morgana: How come we never heard of em?

Futaba: They aren't much of a threat lately.....

(Futaba's eyes widened as she remembered something.)

Futaba: !..... Althooough.....

Ren: What?

Futaba: Since the Kaneshiro's are still ongoing..... I heard a mafia shootout happened not too long ago.

Morgana: You think..... it could be them?

Futaba: Maybe? I'm gonna check on the net to confirm our suspicions.

(Futaba opens her web browser and searches in about the Kaneshiro mafia. An article from last week appears as the first result.)

Futaba: "Mafia and yakuza battle ensues again in..... Kabukicho, Shinjuku."

Ren: Kabukicho.....

Morgana: Wait...the Red-Light district? Isn't that.... the place where we rescued Makoto from Kaneshiro?

Futaba: "The top yakuza family enters into an another gunfight with the mafia in control of power"... yadda yadda yaddaa... "The Mafia being identified to be Junya Kaneshiro's who was arrested for illegal scamming to students of Shujin High almost three years back." Yup! That confirms it!

Morgana: Talk about coincidence.

Ren: Damn..... any info about the families in during the shootout?

Futaba: Uhm..... no..... Everyone in the yakuza managed to escape from the cops so they got nothing much to report about them. Strange it's a repeated occurrence.

(Ren turns around and  lets out a heavy breath.)

(He thinks it over, as he slowly looks down.)

Futaba: Ren?

(Ren faces back to Futaba.)

.....

Ren: Then..... I guess I have to head there for answers.

Futaba: Right now? Are you serious!?

Ren: Yeah, But I'm not going in empty handed though.

Futaba: Hm?

(Ren pulls out his iPhone and opens it. He goes into his contacts list and scrolls through its large library.)

Ren: .....

(Ren stops scrolling as he sees the name he's looking for.)

大宅一子  ( Ichiko Ohya )

(He taps to call, the screen transitions into its call mode. He puts his phone to his ear.)

.....

(It begins beeping through its tiny speaker as Ren waits.)

Ren: ..... (Right, I'm using a new number now...)

.....

.....

"Hello?"

Ren: Is this..... Ichiko Ohya I'm speaking to?

Ohya: "Yes, May I help you?"

Ren: Hey, it's me, Ren. It's been awhile, Ohya-san!

Ohya: "Ren?! W-wow! Uhm- Yeah it's been awhile too!"

Ren: Haha.... Are you still in the writing business?

Ohya: "Sure am! So what's the catch, Phantom Thief. Any new material for me to write? Perhaps you guys are making a comeback?

Ren: Heh... about that.... I- really need your help.

Ohya: "Oh?"

Ren: Are you free tonight?

Ohya: "Yep!"

Ren: Cool! Let's pay Lala a visit.

Ohya: "Alright, see ya at Kabukicho!"

Ren: Yeah. Right- bye!

(Ren puts away the phone from his ear and ends the call.)

Morgana: Ohya.... now that's a name I haven't heard in awhile.

Futaba: I've seen her works, gosh without her I wouldn't imagine how our reputation would be.

Ren: Anyway I have to go, Time's ticking. Who knows what's gonna happen to her.

Futaba: Ren- I get you just got your Persona back and all but don't you forget you're the leader of the Phantom Thieves? The cops are out to get you, and us.

Ren: Do they?

Futaba: Hey- The cops did their research extensively and they conclude that you're the one. If your record about assaulting a woman is still considered then you'd be a hot target!

Morgana: Either that or maybe Sumire dies.

Ren: Yeah, we have to take that risk.

Futaba: Alright, fine.

(Futaba stands up and walks to her wardrobe, she slides open the door and grabs a box full of used devices..... she pulls out a black Bluetooth earpiece.)

Futaba: You're not going anywhere without me.

(She hands it to Ren.)

Ren: ..... Thanks.

(Ren puts on the earpiece to his right ear, he then grabs his bag.)

Ren: Lets go.

Morgana: Mm!

(Morgana jumps into the duffle bag.)

Futaba: You still got it in you, right?

Ren: Got what?

Futaba: Your skills.

Ren: Oh- it'll all come back to me.

Morgana: Should've seen what he did when he got his Persona back.

Futaba: That alone's enough, but be careful, Ren.

Ren: Mmm....

(Ren nods.)

Futaba: Hey- you at least got your materials?

Ren: No, I'll try to keep it down as much as possible. I'll see you once I got what I need.

Futaba: Good luck!

Ren: Thanks.

(Ren smiles in response, He then leaves the room with Morgana, before exiting the house. He walks his way to Kabukicho with a determined look on his face.)
