Chapter 593 - 593 Little Stone's Demise

Chapter 593: Chapter 593 Little Stone’s Demise

Blood splattered, incredibly crystal clear, like one precious blood diamond after another, bright and translucent yet also tragically beautiful. Shi Hao’s chest had exploded, and he wore a smile, appearing calm, yet there was also a touch of sadness.

“Just like this, it ends? Farewell, Stone Village; goodbye, my parents…” he whispered softly.

The blood was shockingly red, bursting towards all directions, and as his chest bone shattered and exploded outward, a terrifying force as if the heavens themselves were collapsing erupted!

Endless characters rushed forth, turning into light like Immortal Blades, indestructible. The shadowy image of the Bronze Immortal Hall was pierced through, here it was dimmed and blurred.

“No!” Yellow Feather screamed in horror, his face pale as snow, the first time ever feeling such fear. He was terrified, sensing doomsday upon him, his heart trembled.

He desperately urged his mana, his body’s vigor and divine soul burning, transforming into the most primal force, hoping it would reinforce the Bronze Immortal Hall to solidify and manifest once more.

...

This was his only life-saving talisman; if the Immortal Hall broke, then he too was bound to die, pierced through, never to rise again from the Lower Realm.

“The Immortal Hall descends!” Yellow Feather roared.

After his infusion, endless primal forces surged in, and indeed, the Bronze Hall became much clearer, unleashing its power once again, revealing itself in the void of the Lower Realm.

Shi Hao remained calm even as his chest resounded; his other bones had already broken, with only the Supreme Bone exploding a small part—it was too resilient!

A bone this strong had already taken shape—external forces could hardly destroy it; only his own determination to sever it could disassemble it, and at last… it had exploded within him.

“Boom!”

Shi Hao’s body violently shuddered, his face devoid of blood, his divine soul shaking, as the Supreme Bone exploded completely, flying outwards!

It was an immense energy that dimmed the sky and blotted out the sun, suppressing everything. On the shattered Supreme Bone sat a vague figure that glanced back at Shi Hao, then surged forward!

That was Shi Hao’s way, the natural laws spontaneously nurtured within his body now fully unleashed, resolute and becoming a destructive light capable of severing all things.

“Crack!”

The Bronze Immortal Hall was pierced, rapidly disintegrating in the void, emitting vibrating sounds as it swiftly dimmed and then dispersed, vanishing from sight.

“Ah…” Yellow Feather screamed, his face written with terror. Who does not fear death, able to face it with composure? In the end, many are filled with dread and reluctance.

The old servant of the Immortal Hall, filled with ambitious aspirations, descended to the Lower Realm, intended to achieve great deeds, dominate the eight regions, and rise to power by finding various ancient fortunes from legends!

He crossed realms not only for the Immortal Hall but for himself as well, to truly break the shackles of life and carve out his own path!

However, at this moment, all his ambitions seemed exceedingly pale. As the Supreme Bone exploded, his dreams shattered in the Lower Realm, and his path came to an end.

“I am not content!” he cried in anger, fear, hesitation, sorrow, helplessness, but it was all in vain, with no means to resist.

“Shik!”

A piece of the Supreme Bone flew over, piercing through his chest, bringing forth a spray of blood. The hole in his chest exploded, his body rapidly disintegrating, an immense energy sweeping in nearly causing him to burst.

In his last moments, Yellow Feather saw, as if in a trance, a young man whose body was torn apart, but who wore a peaceful smile on his face, blood at the corner of his mouth, watching him.

Yellow Feather regretted; it was he who had driven this young man into despair, now dragging himself into it as well, experiencing this desolate and hopeless end, plummeting into the abyss.

“No, I truly do not want to die!” he shouted, his complexion ashen and contorted, his body struggling fiercely, but unable to break free, with no means at all.

The Supreme Bone exploded, an endless surge of energy crashing down like a vast ocean, flipping Yellow Feather onto the ground, tearing his body apart and extinguishing his Life Essence.

Yellow Feather shrieked, full of panic and dread, desperately reaching out his hands towards the void, wishing time could reverse, to alter this terrible situation.

“Pop!”

Another fragment of the Supreme Bone flew in, penetrating his brow, his entire skull exploding into pieces, then igniting!

“I’ve actually died… All the Magic Artifacts and methods bestowed by the Immortal Hall… have proved useless…” His Primordial Spirit struggled within the Skull fragments, on the verge of dissipating.

“All Seven Gods Descending perished, truly a sorrowful lament,” he growled, then with a cold voice, he sacrificed a green rust spot from his divine soul. “Bloom for me, Curse Flower refined from the green rust shed by the Bronze Hall!”

He was full of resentment, even with just a fractured Divine Sense, he still performed this killing technique, fearing that Shi Hao might somehow survive.

“Pop!”

The last few fragments of the Supreme Bone flew in, disintegrating Yellow Feather into ash, his body and Primordial Spirit burst, reduced to ashes, leaving nothing behind.

With Shi Hao self-destructing his Supreme Bone, his condition was naturally extremely grave; his body was immediately torn apart, above the chest was one piece, the chest gone, and below was another segment.

Then, under the terrifying fluctuations, amidst the light of destruction, he was torn apart, all parts of his body disintegrating, bones breaking, flesh bursting open, agonizing pain searing through his entire being.

He was no better off than Yellow Feather, undergoing a process of tearing himself apart, self-destructing, his very body fragmenting.

In the void, bones exploded out one after another, flesh flew in all directions, the scene was extremely tragic, Shi Hao about to disappear from this world forever.

Even that Skull, was now cracking, blood gushing from his brow, his Primordial Spirit dimming, set to shatter!

Should this part be destroyed, even the arrival of a great Supreme could not avail to save a person who has lost their skull, stripped of all marks, equivalent to being completely erased from existence.

Clearly, Shi Hao was on the path to annihilation.

In this last instant, Shi Hao closed his eyes, many things surfaced in his mind, scene by scene, as if only yesterday—touching, sad, helpless, joyful… so many, filling him with reluctance.

As a child, his Supreme Bone was extracted by his kin, blood dripping, his tiny body curled alone on the cold bed, pleading desperately with his aunt, asking why?

Before long, he journeyed to Stone Village, innocent and untainted. He grew up slowly, gradually becoming stronger, until at last he ventured out alone into the great desolate area to start his own path in life.

The battles at Hundred Shattered Mountains, the fight at the Northern Sea Kun Peng nest, the great war in Stone Capital—he climbed step by step to prominence.

The name of Little Stone shook the world, and now there’s nobody who doesn’t know it, nobody who isn’t aware.

Having lost his parents at a young age, he relied on himself, leaving footprints at every step of the way to today, where he suppressed the Seven Gods. Alas… it was all bound to come to an end.

Cracks spread forebodingly between Shi Hao’s brows, bone after bone exploded, threatening to break apart and fly in all directions.

His mind drifted as he gazed upon the world with attachment and reluctance, whispering softly, “I emerged from Stone Village, where I seldom met with my parents. How I wish I could see them again…”

But he knew he no longer had that capability; he would soon cease to exist in this world.

Time seemed to freeze as Little Stone waited, watching himself approach death and falling into eternal darkness, his eyes filled with tears, laden with desolation.

Because in the very last moments, he hadn’t met anyone.

It was just like before, like when he was a child lying alone on a cold little bed, bleeding from his chest, void of warmth, without family by his side, only desolation, waiting for death all alone.

Fading by himself, deeply sorrowful, as helpless as in those former days, he felt a chill and confusion, with even more sentimentality overwhelming him.

“Why haven’t I died yet?” Shi Hao whispered. He watched his own demise, sending himself away from this world, plunging into eternal slumber.

But inexplicably, time seemed to really stall, unbearably long. His skull, although cracked, hadn’t shattered and flew apart, and his consciousness still remained clear.

“What is this?” he saw a flicker of green light.

Dots of green light danced, spreading like ripples to his skull, halting the worsening of the wound, sealing the cracks in his bones, making time seem to stand still.

A dense green mist flowed, enveloping his head.

Simultaneously, fragments of bone and flesh, including the severed lower half of his body that had been blasted away, were all drawn back by a mysterious power.

A branch, green and bearing delicate, glittering buds, radiated a soft glow. It was this branch that had gathered all the flesh and bone back together, hinting at a potential reassembly.

“Willow Deity!”

Shi Hao called out. In his final moments, he felt a solitary melancholy, thinking he would depart from this world alone, unseen and unknown. He did not anticipate feeling the familiar presence.

At the last second, seeing this branch, he felt a surge of joy and was moved, and his mood lifted significantly.

This was not the true Willow Deity, but merely a tender branch it had left behind.

Years ago, when Shi Hao went to the Northern Sea Kun Peng nest, the Willow Deity had given him a piece of its branch to keep, so that in times of danger, they could exchange places, though it had never been used.

As the Willow Deity left, stepping through the Primordial Gate to battle unknown worlds, the power of the branch waned, unable to call it forth any longer.

Moreover, as time passed, the branch dimmed and even started to wither, for the Willow Deity had departed this realm, severing all connections.

Shi Hao had always kept it with him, and today, as he sacrificed himself, exploding the Supreme Bone, facing certain death, he never expected that at the final moment, the branch would revive, emit a luminous green light, and draw back his flesh and bone.

The branch glowed, its desiccated buds sprouting anew with vigor, falling off and, carrying tiny ripples, entering into Shi Hao’s shattered body, bringing together the fragmented flesh.

To bring back life to bones and flesh was an exaggerated way of putting it, as not even Divine Medicines were guaranteed to accomplish this!

But now, the branch shed all its tender buds, bringing the body back together, reassembling it, restoring vitality.

It was like a porcelain vase that had fallen to the hard ground and shattered, then being pieced back together to its original form, but covered in cracks, densely packed.

This was a temporary bond of the body that could unravel at any moment, threatening to again explode across the heavens and the earth.

Shi Hao’s face was pallid, a trail of blood at the corner of his mouth as he lay on the ground, hardly believing that his body was pieced back together, appearing amid the mountains.

However, some of his flesh and crushed bones had vanished altogether, leaving numerous ghastly wounds on him—his injuries were far too severe!

One by one, the tender buds went missing, patching up his broken body, healing the cracks, and mending the blood-soaked holes.

The Supreme Bone too was drawn back but had lost one-third of its mass, partially burnt in the terrifying energy storm. What remained was incomplete.

Furthermore, the surviving piece of the Supreme Bone was assembled from many smaller fragments, forming a remnant bone.

“Crack!”

Suddenly, some of the bones in his reassembled body broke apart again, fracturing, and his body almost crumbled into pieces on the mountainous ground.

Shi Hao introspected and saw strange characters within his bones and flesh colliding with the vitality of the branch—a clash of natural laws, dismantling his body.

The most terrifying part was that the destructive force of these natural laws was immensely powerful, slightly more dominant than the restorative power of the tender branch, causing his body to destabilize and break apart once more.

“Rules of the Immortal Hall infused into my body?” Shi Hao looked inward carefully, understanding the situation, his eyes darkened with a quiet sigh—he was still going to die.

The Willow Deity had departed, and the branch almost withered—though it was revived and full of life’s essence, it lacked powerful natural laws within.

Meanwhile, the rules of the Immortal Hall had merged with his blood and flesh, thoroughly destroying him—this was an execution that sought to completely obliterate him!

“It seems I cannot escape death after all. By giving me this glimmer of hope, allowing me to retain a broken body, is it just to fulfill my wish to see those I long for?” he mused to himself.

Shi Hao took a deep breath, knowing his life was nearing its end. He now had a brief respite left in this world and needed to make haste, or risk being obliterated. (To be continued.
