Capital City TV, after its regular 7 pm news broadcast, officially launched the live streaming of the 'Singing China' qualification round, attracting a large audience to watch.

The previous audition rounds had already achieved an audience rating of 3.27%, and tonight's live-streamed qualifying round was expected to set new records.

Like other satellite TV channels, Capital City TV also had an online live streaming platform, broadcasting the show simultaneously to billions of internet users, catering to both TV and computer screens - the two most important media.

Tonight, the programme broadcast on Capital City TV's online channel was linked to 'Whale TV's' Lu Fei Live Streaming room, with more than 500,000 Fish fans watching online.

This was a rare sight - most people had televisions at home, and the viewing experience on a TV was undeniably better than on a computer. However, the internet had one distinct advantage that TV couldn't match: interactivity!

As soon as the 'Singing China' logo appeared on the screen, the Lu Fei Live Streaming room was buzzing with excitement.

On online platforms, female streamers, especially beautiful ones, have many advantages over male streamers, even if they are just doing everyday tasks like cooking or cleaning. 

Male streamers who play games are more popular than lifestyle streamers, and right now, Lu Chen was one of the hottest entertainment streamers on 'Whale TV'. However, he was still far behind popular game streamers like Little Gu, even though he had once defeated him in a PK-themed show.

As a male streamer, sitting in front of the screen and performing his own music, though supported by original songs, still had the natural disadvantage of viewer fatigue. It wasn't as fresh or exciting as adventurous game streams or lifestyle shows, and didn't generate the same emotional highs.

Lu Chen knew this, so he saw 'Whale TV' as a stepping stone in his career and had no intention of sticking to the streaming world long-term. He would continue only until his contract ended.

On the other hand, he was always looking for new ways to change things up. For example, the recent live stream of the Qinglan Music Carnival was a great format, and this 'Singing China' qualification round could excite his fans even more.
