Chapter 6 Tony is Coming
"Today is another day full of energy."
Mo An, who had just walked downstairs, opened the lock of the coffee shop door and said feebly.
But there was no trace of vitality at all.
"Who are some of your acquaintances coming today? You haven't had an agent come to check on you for so many days. Why don't you just trust me?"
It has been nearly 10 months since the last time Black Widow Natasha Romanoff came to the coffee shop. During this period, Coulson, who had just returned from the Arctic, came over to drink some coffee and chat. Meeting day.
To be honest, if Coulson's career is put aside, his lovable personality will make him a friend to many people, including Moan.
"It's okay if you don't come, so you don't have to worry about what you can say and what you can't say." Thinking of this, Mo An felt that the blazing eyes of those sitting in front of the bar began to become less scary. Instead, it became cute.
"This guy is so mean. When he wasn't making money, he always dreamed that the coffee shop would be full and the queue would reach across the street. Now that there are more customers, he starts to miss the leisurely days when no one comes."
Even though he said this, Mo An still had a happy smile on his lips.
After all, as an ordinary person, shouldn't his life be like this?
Strictly speaking, Mo An is no longer a human being, but a biological weapon with normal human thoughts.
But in the days to come, others will always know his true strength.
By then, will even he be forced to take sides? Super villain? Super hero? Or an antihero?
But Moan is confident that this will not happen.
The coffee shop thing was enough of a headache for him, and he didn't want to worry about it anymore.
"A hard fist is stronger than anything else."
I, Mo An, don’t cause trouble and I’m not afraid of it!
(Little Heizi! Show your chicken feet. Don’t even think about eating any of the eggs my brother laid!)
Mo An finished cleaning, put on his work clothes, and was wiping the cup when the door was pushed open.
"Pepper, I just can't think of any coffee that could fascinate you so much."
"Actually, my sisters strongly recommended me to come here, Tony, and as the boss, you don't have to do this with me."
"Of course not. Don't the bosses have the right to know what the secretary is going to do?"
Before the person arrives, the sound arrives first.
Mo An smiled. Unexpectedly, a legendary character came to his store today, although he is still a playboy in the arms business.
"Welcome, what would you like to drink?" Mo An said with a smile as he led them to the front desk.
"It's our first time here, do you have any recommendations?" Pepper asked with a smile as she marveled at Mo An's handsome face.
"In this case, I highly recommend you, beautiful lady, to try the cappuccino in our store. It has moderate sweetness and bitterness, and the special cinnamon powder can well stimulate the aroma of the coffee."
"And this gentleman," Mo An gave Tony a deep look, "You seem a little tired. Do you often stay up late? Do you want a cup of espresso to refresh yourself?"
A trace of embarrassment flashed across Tony's face. Although Pepper knew about his kidney transplant with the cover girl, she was still a little uncomfortable being told by a third person.
He could only nod his head and say, "I listen to you."
"Okay, I'll prepare it for you right away." Mo An showed a mischievous smile and went to the coffee machine to get busy.
Not long after, Mo An brought two cups of steaming coffee to the two of them. Smelling the unique aroma of coffee beans, the two of them couldn't help but perk up.
Tony picked it up and took a sip. It was soft, bitter, and slightly sour in the mouth, but after drinking it, there was still a nutty aftertaste, and he couldn't help but nodded.
Seeing that her harsh boss seemed to agree, Pepper also picked up her own cup of cappuccino and drank it.
The store manager was right. The bitterness and sweetness of this cup of coffee were perfectly balanced, just within the range she could accept. It made the taste rise several levels and became more delicious. Her nose was filled with Pepper couldn't help but smile happily under the dual stimulation of the aroma of cinnamon powder and coffee beans.
However, what she didn't notice was that because she drank too much in one go, the foamed milk on top left a shallow white mark above her lips. Tony couldn't help laughing when he saw it, "Why, so Are you ready for Christmas soon?”
Pepper didn't react at first, until she felt something strange on her lips, then she took the tissue from Mo An and gave Tony an angry look.
Tony was immediately in a good mood and looked at Mo An with a smile, "With an annual salary of two million, how about coming to my company to specialize in coffee?"
Moan also smiled, "I have to say that Mr. Stark is generous, but I have a reason to stay here."
"What's the reason?" At this time, not only Tony was curious, but Pepper also looked over.
Mo An released some just right sadness and whispered: "This shop was actually left to me by my father. It was not a coffee shop at first. He passed away due to illness a year ago and held my hand before leaving. Say, this is the last little thing you can do for me, let me redecorate and do whatever I want."
"My father loved drinking coffee when he was alive, so I opened a coffee shop like this as a memorial to my father."
"So Mr. Stark, I can't go with you."
Mo An's amazing acting skills undoubtedly hit Tony's weakness. He murmured: "You are lucky. What else can your father leave you? My father has nothing but the building opposite." None were left for me.”
"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, it seems that we all have the same sadness," Moan comforted him: "As far as I know, Mr. Howard Stark is a scientist across the ages, just because of the conditions at the time. Restrictions prevented him from realizing his ideals.”
"But I think no matter how talented a person is, when he has a child, he becomes a father for the first time."
"He may not know how to be a good father, but there is no doubt that he loves you."
"Love me?" Tony sneered with red eyes, "He said the happiest moment in his life was when he sent me to boarding school."
"That means he won't express his love to you. Almost all fathers are like this." Mo An shrugged.
"Can you imagine that when a scientist with a genius mind and working with data all day long comes home, he has to face a person of flesh and blood, but you can't guess his thoughts, and he is still his child? If it were you, what would you do?"
As he spoke, Moan glanced at Pepper intentionally or unintentionally.
Sister, I’ve already assisted you so far, and now I’ll leave it to you.
"Um...I..." Tony stammered a little, "I may...be a little at a loss, but only a little. I am very confident that I will be able to play the role of a father in the future."
"That's right, Tony," Moan said with a smile, "but is it possible that in that distant era, someone asked your father the same question, and his answer was the same as yours today?"
Tony was silent.
"So he must love you, and he must have left you something. It's just your own business whether this thing is important or not, and whether you even go to look for it or not." Mo An patted Tony on the shoulder. Hand him a tissue.
"...Thanks." Tony reached out and took the tissue, not paying attention to Pepper's surprised gaze beside him.
As we all know, Tony Stark has a quirk and won't accept things from strangers, but today seems to be the first time he and the store manager met, and he has already matured like this?
She couldn't help but feel a little disgusted and glanced at Mo An strangely.
The store manager will not be...
Feeling Pepper's gaze, Mo An felt a toothache.
What's your look like?
I'm suing you for defamation!
"Okay Tony, if you really want to find your father's relics, I suggest you go to SHIELD and take a look."
"SHIELD? That place full of agents?" Tony had heard of this place.
"Yes, as far as I know your father co-founded SHIELD. Maybe he will have some relics stored there."
"But I think the director of SHIELD will come to you soon."
"Come to me? Why?" Tony became even more confused.
Mo An shook his head and smiled, "I can't say too much because the time has not come yet."
"Okay, I'll go take a look when I get the chance." Tony said casually.
Mo An just saw through it without saying anything, "Of course, come and see me when you have time."
Tony smiled and nodded in agreement, and left the coffee shop with Pepper.
As soon as the store door closed, Tony quickly ordered to Pepper: "Can we contact that bureau? Just give me anyone's phone number. Damn it, why do I know nothing about my dad? But he knows that he is more like my father’s child than me!”
Looking at the frizzy Tony next to her, Pepper rolled her eyes, "I thought you really didn't care."
Tony sighed, "Am I like a child who won't grow up now?"
"No, Tony," Pepper patted his back lovingly, "You're more of a man now."
The words are divided into two parts.
Mo An here had just seen off Tony and his wife when he suddenly saw a slowly growing circle of sparks appearing out of thin air not far from the counter. On the other side of the circle was a completely different scene, with a strangely dressed man standing there. Bald.
"Master Gu Yi..." Mo An was stunned for a moment, then smiled.
"Are you interested in coming to sit with me?" Gu Yixiao asked.
"It seems that this business cannot be done today."
Mo An locked the door, stepped across the circle of light, and followed Gu Yi to a low table in the room.
"It's really amazing. In just one step, I went from Manhattan, New York, to the Himalayas." Sitting comfortably on the cushion, Mo An looked left and right, looking like a curious baby.
"You really know a lot of things, even me." Gu Yi, who was sitting opposite him, brought a cup of tea to him, "Are you used to drinking tea?"
