Chapter 215: Chapter 215

At this moment, thunderclouds surged across the sky.

The sea boiled beneath them, with waves tens of meters high relentlessly crashing into the dozen pirate ships ahead.

Suddenly, chaos erupted aboard the pirate vessels. The navigators lost all sense of direction, shouting panicked and conflicting commands. Under An's illusionary influence, the fifteen ships began to collide with one another—turning the sea into a twisted whirlpool of steel and splintering wood.

A massive circular formation took shape amidst the confusion.

Suspended high above the chaos, An hovered in midair, her eyes gleaming with excitement. Her cheeks were flushed, her beauty radiant under the stormy sky.

After consuming the epic-level Six Styles naval crystal gifted by Kairos Flint, An's abilities had evolved significantly. Now she could use her imagination to manipulate the surrounding environment, distort the senses of others, and trap them in vivid hallucinations.

This was the third form of her Illusion Fruit ability.

It allowed her to affect the five senses of others—sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste—gradually leading them into an elaborate trap.

The sensation of control, of orchestrating this chaotic ballet of deception, was intoxicating.

"This ability… it's almost like Tsukuyomi," Kairos Flint remarked from the bow of his ship. A small, approving smile tugged at his lips.

As Kairos's power had grown, so had An's understanding of her own Devil Fruit. She was constantly unlocking deeper layers of her abilities—new forms, greater range, and stronger illusions.

"She's growing quickly," he thought.

Meanwhile, the pirates, caught in the storm, shouted in despair.

"Damn it! The captain must be a Devil Fruit user—he's controlling the weather!"

"We're screwed! We're done for!"

"We're completely powerless against something like this!"

Some among the pirate crews desperately turned to their captains for answers, but none could offer hope. They were utterly helpless against this overwhelming force.

"Hey! Look at the sky! What's that?"

"What the hell is up there?"

"Wait… is that just a woman?"

"Idiot! Look above her—there's something moving in the clouds. Something big."

Some pirates, having accepted their fate, aimed their weapons at An in the sky. A volley of bullets and cannonballs was fired toward her in a last, desperate attack.

But before the projectiles could reach her, a colossal claw extended from the heavens.

With a thunderous crash, it blocked the barrage completely.

Explosions lit up the sky as bullets and shells smashed harmlessly into the strange claw.

"What… what the hell is that?!"

As the smoke cleared, all eyes locked onto the mysterious shape in the sky.

"That… that's a dragon claw!"

"No way… are we seeing what I think we're seeing?"

The pirates were frozen in shock.

The enormous claw—over ten meters wide—had blocked the attack with ease. Then the rest of the creature emerged from the clouds.

A massive dragon descended from the storm.

Its sinuous body stretched across the sky, scales glimmering with electric light, and cold, merciless eyes staring down at the trembling pirates.

"No… this can't be…"

"A DRAGON?!"

"How the hell are we supposed to fight a dragon?!"

Panic erupted. Despair blanketed the sea.

The towering blue dragon coiled in the sky, its full body now revealed—majestic and terrifying.

Kairos Flint, watching from his ship, narrowed his eyes in surprise. "So this is the extent of her illusion now?"

The dragon's scales were so lifelike they had blocked cannon fire. The illusion was almost indistinguishable from reality.

"That's… incredible," he muttered.

"It's stronger than even my Devil Fruit in some ways…" Nami whispered, covering her mouth in awe.

Vivi and the others stared in speechless amazement.

The massive dragon, its body spanning the sky, created a scene straight out of legend.

An looked down upon the pirates from above and, with a kind expression, asked softly, "Do you surrender… or not?"

Kairos, hearing her words, couldn't help but smile faintly.

"She's too softhearted."

"Go assist her," he said quietly.

He knew An wasn't suited for brutality—not yet.

But just then, a pirate captain raised a shoulder-mounted cannon and took aim at An.

The shot fired.

An quickly summoned a translucent green-blue dragon to shield her. The blast struck the summoned creature, narrowly missing her.

Behind the protective form, An trembled, anger flashing in her eyes.

"You… You're all horrible! Didn't I say I wouldn't kill you if you surrendered? Why won't you listen?!"

Gritting her teeth, she remembered Kairos's expectations—his trust. She refused to let him down.

With a cry, she raised her hand.

The blue dragon roared, opened its blood-red jaws, and swept downward. It swallowed four or five ships in a single snap—followed by an explosive eruption.

The dragon charged into the pirate fleet, unleashing destruction.

An stood motionless at first, stunned by the force of her own actions.

But as she watched the enemy ships burn and sink into the sea, her resolve hardened.

Her fear was gone.

Her heart was calm.

"Well done!" Kairos called from afar, clapping his hands in approval.

Blushing from his praise, An's face lit up with joy.

But just then—

"It seems you've got another woman now…" a voice said playfully.

From the horizon, another pirate ship approached.

An, still glowing from Kairos's praise, turned her eyes to the distant vessel.

She noticed the red flag fluttering atop its mast and instantly guessed: another pirate crew, oblivious to the fate that awaited them.
