Chapter 597: The Last Mission
```
"Zhu Li, this is all the funds that Yanzi and I could muster, there's no more. No matter what, you have to accept it."
Worried that Zhu Li couldn't handle so much money, Rose held her hand and softly comforted her.
Off to the side, Xia Liu was somewhat puzzled.
Hadn't Tina given a card worth tens of millions to Rose before?
Could it be that after her amnesia, she forgot about that card too? What a pity...
"Thank you, Miss Rose, thank you so much, Director!" In the end, Zhu Li still accepted the bank card.
Even if she herself didn't want it, the children in the orphanage needed it.
Without funds, she didn't know how they would manage in the future.
Now, at least, she wouldn't have to worry about the future.
"Um, I also have some money here; it's no use to me, so I'll leave it to the children."
Just as Zhu Li was moved, Xia Liu handed over a black bank card.
"A VIP card from Citibank!" Staring at the bank card in Xia Liu's hand, everyone present was excited.
Although they had never owned such a card, they had seen one before—it was a primary VIP card given by the bank to those who deposit several million US dollars or more.
"This..." Zhu Li didn't know what to say, understanding the significance of that bank card, which surely contained an unimaginable sum of money.
"Great God Red Dragon Shadow, how much money is in this card?" Yanzi asked timidly.
"Someone gave it to me, she said there were ten million, I'm not sure if that's true," Xia Liu said, touching his nose.
"Pfft! Ten million!"
Rose, Yanzi, Zhu Li, and Hetti, all four of them were shocked.
Ten million!
And in US dollars, at that!
They no longer knew how to describe their feelings.
It was a shock that left them crispy on the outside and tender inside.
"Respected benefactor, this is too much money, we cannot accept it," Zhu Li said respectfully.
"It's not for you, it's for the children, so please accept it on their behalf," Xia Liu insisted, forcefully pushing the card into Zhu Li's hands.
Faced with such an enthusiastic benefactor, Hetti and Zhu Li looked at each other, not knowing what to say.
"Zhu Li, just take it. Rose's boyfriend is a wealthy man; this money is less than one thousandth of his assets," Yanzi said softly, comforting Zhu Li.
"Yes, Zhu Li, please take it quickly. He's very rich, there's no need to worry," Rose said with a slight smile, though she knew that identity was false.
But for some reason, as she spoke, she found herself thoroughly enjoying it.
Maybe for this moment alone she could feel this way.
After tonight, or whenever Zhu Li wasn't around,
Rose and the Red Dragon Shadow would become strangers again.
"Thank you, Miss Rose, thank you, Director." Hetti and Zhu Li didn't know what else to say; all they had were words of gratitude.
After chatting for a while longer, Hetti and Zhu Li left.
They had to go back and carefully plan for the future, making sure to spend every cent on the children.
"Whew! Finally done!" Yanzi stretched her delicate hands, sighing with relief.
"Yes, it's done. As long as we complete the mission, we can return home," Rose nodded, her eyes seemingly moist with tears.
However, when the two women noticed Xia Liu's silence on the side, they both became somewhat restrained.
Otherwise, under such circumstances, they would need to hug each other and then go to sleep.
Their years of running the orphanage could finally be fully entrusted to Zhu Li.
Eventually, they would have to follow their own paths.
But the good deeds wouldn't stop; they planned to give back to their homeland, to help those children in greater need.
"Where will you go after you leave?" Since Yanzi and Rose had just spoken in Huaxia, Xia Liu hesitated to ask them directly, so he asked them about their general direction in English.
"We have one last mission to complete, and then we'll return to Huaxia."
"Yes, Huaxia is both mine and Rose's motherland, and we plan to settle back home. We may even leave this line of work for good."
Rose and Yanzi earnestly explained to Xia Liu.
"Oh, going back to your homeland, that's really wonderful news. Congratulations."
"Heehee, after all, both of us have pretty low abilities, we can't compare to you, Great God Red Dragon Shadow, so it's better to retire early," Yanzi said with a delighted smile.
"That's true, this industry isn't quite suitable for you two girls. When do you plan to turn in your identity cards?" Xia Liu inquired.
"After we complete one last mission, we'll end this identity."
In reality, Xia Liu knew they were going to do one last mission; his question was only intended to make them reveal it in English.
After all, he couldn't risk exposing his own identity too soon.
Otherwise, it would provoke Rose's displeasure, and that would be troublesome.
"What kind of mission did you take on? How many stars is it?"
Stars were the classification for the difficulty of assassin missions.
One star was ordinary, two stars were difficult, three stars were very difficult, four stars were extremely difficult, and five stars were impossible.
Someone like the Nether Emperor, ranked first on the assassination list, was a rare unranked target.
Because no one could complete that task, and it far exceeded five stars.
Even though five stars were labelled impossible, for the top ten ranked assassins,
it was just extremely difficult.
"We took on a five-star mission."
As soon as Yanzi finished speaking, Rose tugged at her clothes, signaling her not to be so blunt.
"A five-star mission..."
Gaining this response, Xia Liu fell silent for a moment.
Indeed, the Disguise skill was just too perfect for being an assassin.
Besides the top three, very few dared to accept a five-star mission.
Even Loki, ranked eighth, wouldn't dare to take on such tasks,
for the risk was too high of never returning.
Rose and Yanzi were different; they could change their faces in an extremely short time, which was even more impressive than having an unfair advantage.
But they also needed to be cautious; if their identities were exposed, they would face merciless eradication.
"Who's the target?" Xia Liu asked.
Rose gave an awkward smile, knowing that Red Dragon Shadow would ask such a question.
Damn Yanzi's big mouth, otherwise they could have completed the mission quietly.
"It's Lance, ranked thirtieth on the kill list." After a short silence, Rose answered.
"Lance? Your target is him!" Xia Liu became somewhat agitated upon hearing the name.
"Does Great God Red Dragon Shadow know Lance?" Rose and Yanzi both looked at Xia Liu curiously, unable to fathom why he was so excited.
"Lance is a sort of underground kingpin here in America. Although he's not in the Assassins Realm, he surrounds himself with many Psychic Beings, and he even has some Primary-Level psychics..."
"That's no issue, my abilities are completely sufficient to get by unnoticed," Rose said confidently.
"Hmm, I know you're capable, but to kill Lance, your abilities might still not be enough." Xia Liu shook his head as he explained.
