The battle between Shalltear and Antilene at the entrance of the sanctuary attracted quite a number of soldiers from the Slane Theocracy, but they were all dealt with by Mare.

Time Turbulence saw that Shalltear ignored him and immediately charged toward her.

However, just as he had covered two meters, he saw his own headless body in his field of vision.

In that instant, Time Turbulence was killed by Shalltear.

Shalltear hadn't even drawn a weapon. She appeared just as she usually did, without any gear, and killed Time Turbulence with nothing but her nails.

Divine Chant was now under Shalltear's mental control.

Shalltear opened a portal and sent Divine Chant to Nazarick, right in front of Peroroncino.

The moment she saw Shalltear, Divine Chant realized she hadn't died and might have been brought here through some method by the man in front of her.

While she was still thinking, a hand landed on her... and squeezed.

"Ah!" Divine Chant instinctively cried out.

"Let go of me!" Divine Chant grabbed Peroroncino's hand with both of hers, but no matter how hard she tried, the hand remained unmoving.

And it continued to squeeze.

When Bukana saw the corpses of the second and third seats of the Black Scripture, without hesitation, she gave the order to attack.

Apart from Bukana, all the members of the Holocaust Scripture were killed. No one survived.

On Shalltear's side, Bukana, the captain of the Holocaust Scripture, froze for a moment. She immediately tore off a small vial hanging from her neck.

She opened it and consumed the only pill inside.

"Summon the Root Fire Elemental."

Two magic circles appeared—one beneath her feet and one in front of her.

The magic circle beneath her feet would drain her life force.

The other magic circle summoned a massive fire elemental. It was level (65).

A dark energy appeared from the ground and enveloped the fire elemental.

The Root Fire Elemental took massive damage.

"Maximazed Magic: Shining Radiance."

Before the Root Fire Elemental could react, Shalltear cast her magic once again.

A pillar of light descended from the sky, striking the Root Fire Elemental.

The fire elemental barely lasted a few seconds before vanishing.

As for the sacrificial Bukana, with the disappearance of the Root Fire Elemental, the magic circle beneath her that drained her life force also vanished.

In just five seconds, the creature she had summoned with her life as a sacrifice was destroyed.

Bukana's mana had been completely depleted due to the casting of the summoning spell.

Holding her staff, Bukana charged toward Shalltear, intending to fight as a melee mage.
