It had been three months since the release of Satisfy, which translated to nine months of in-game time. In that period, Gilgamesh dedicated himself to mastering two crafts: blacksmithing and swordsmanship. His days were split between the forge, where he honed his skills under Kaela's watchful eye, and the battlefield, where he tested the weapons they created against increasingly powerful foes.

Though the skill itself will be gone if he changes class to Pagma's Successor, it is still better to have it. But that will be a different story if he got a new title.....

Gilgamesh thought as he looked at his status window. He has prepared himself to venture around Northern Mountain in search of Northern End Cave. While he had a rough idea of its location from his memories of Reddit in his previous life, the Western Continent was vast—larger than Earth itself. Finding the cave would be no small feat, but Gilgamesh was confident in his ability to succeed.

Gilgamesh was confident in his success in finding the cave because, unlike Grid, he comes prepared, from his level, equipment, and even his skill. Thanks to the Golden Rule skill he acquired months ago, he has been steadily collecting treasure all over the Reinhardt Kingdom, he didn't plan to sell the most precious ones, but trash ones like Rare class change books which fetched a staggering 2 million gold.

The value of rare-rated hidden classes was still high, as players were only beginning to explore the possibilities of class advancements. Gilgamesh knew that this value would decrease over time, especially after the second National Competition, when the gap between third-advancement classes and rare-rated classes would narrow.

But for now, the gold he had earned was more than enough to fund his journey and secure the resources he needed.

Back to Northern End Cave. Gilgamesh plans to do it alone, not only because the monsters around there are powerful, but the average level is 250. He also gives a mission to Kaela to go to Bairan Village to gain a foothold there, as the future territory of the Tzedhaka Guild. With his preparations complete, Gilgamesh set out for the Northern Mountains. The journey would be long, unforgiving, and arduous, but he was ready...

"Emm... shouldn't this supposed to be difficult?" Gilgamesh muttered out loud, his voice tinged with sarcasm as he stared at the overwhelming sight before him.

Gilgamesh stood at the entrance of the Northern End Cave, his expression a mix of disbelief and amusement. The journey that he had expected to take weeks—filled with treacherous terrain, deadly monsters, and countless obstacles—had taken him just....one day.

The cave was unlike anything he had imagined. Instead of a dark, foreboding cavern, it was a treasure trove of unimaginable wealth. Piles of battle gear—swords, shields, armor, and more—were stacked high like mountains, their surfaces gleaming in the faint light that filtered through the cave's entrance.

Gilgamesh had set out from Patrian with a clear plan. He had followed the directions at 1 o'clock from the city because that was the rough direction of the Northern End Cave. He has been avoiding any unnecessary encounters with monsters along the way. His high Agility and Advanced Sword Mastery allowed him to move swiftly and silently, bypassing threats that would have slowed down lesser players.

What he hadn't expected was how straightforward the journey would be. The path to the Northern End Cave was surprisingly clear, with no major obstacles or detours. Even the monsters he encountered were easily avoided.

"I thought this would take weeks," Gilgamesh said, shaking his head as he stepped further into the cave. "But here I am, already at the finish line. Did I overprepare or something?"

"Fuck it, I thought this would be harder," he admitted, his tone a mix of amusement and disbelief. "But I'm not complaining. Sometimes, luck is on your side."

He then began to enter the cave. He scanned the mountains of gate gear around him, noticing that the quality of these items where anything he had seen before, even Kaela's fell short when compared to this. He tried to store them in his inventory but a red notification appeared in front of his face.

"Hmm, of course it is." Gilgamesh nodded in understanding if players were allowed to own this many items, the economic balance of the game would be crumbling already. He didn't come here for the battle gear anyway but for something greater.

At the center of the cave, resting on a stone pedestal, was a book. Its cover was worn but unmistakable, bearing the symbol of a hammer and anvil intertwined.
