Therefore, Uzumaki Ina did not enter the village with him. She didn't even set foot on the main island of the Land of Water. Instead, she was on a nearby small island, changing her position every day. If there was any danger of exposure, she was to immediately summon the tiger-headed eagle, Toratou, to relocate. The entire office was instantly filled with explosions. The Mist-nin who had rushed in were sent flying. The frozen Third Mizukage was also sent flying, and a gaping hole was blown in the side of the Mizukage's tower.

As for Genichi, who had been hanging from the ceiling, he had vanished the moment the first bubble was detonated.

But he hadn't left.

He appeared on the second floor of the tower, which was now empty. He raised a hand and spat out a stream of water. After hitting the floor, the water surged up and condensed into a clone. But this was not a water clone. It was an Explosion Release clone. Its exterior was water, but its interior was filled with a hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture.

After creating the clone, Genichi clapped his hands together and blew out the explosive gas mixture like a thin mist, which quickly filled the entire building.

At this moment, the explosion in the Mizukage's office had woken the slumbering village. A large number of Mist-nin were heading toward the tower. Those who were closer and faster had already arrived outside.

However, before they could rush in, after the real Genichi had left, his Explosion Release clone formed a one-handed seal and detonated itself. Although the clone was of normal size, the force of the explosion was a thousand times greater than the bubbles he had used before. Most importantly, Genichi had added an extra ingredient.

The arriving Mist-nin stared at the ruins, then at their comrades who were injured or even killed by the aftershock nearby. They were all dumbfounded, frozen in place for a moment.

"Did someone assassinate Lord Mizukage?"

After a brief stupor, there was an uproar.

"Quick, find Lord Mizukage!" a jonin shouted, beginning to direct the search. More and more people rushed into the rubble.

"We found Lord Mizukage!" someone suddenly yelled.

A large number of ninja rushed over and began to dig the Third Mizukage out of the rubble with their bare hands. But they only found the upper half of his body. And one of his arms was missing. His body was covered in wounds, but his identity was still clearly recognizable.

"Also, send someone to the front lines in the Land of Fire at once. Inform Yagura Karatachi of the Third's death and have him return to the village immediately!"

The order was given, and someone immediately left to organize the men. After making the arrangements, Genshi asked again, "What exactly happened? Who saw the Third Mizukage before the assassination?"

No one could answer this question. The people who had seen Genichi's transformation into Ao were either killed by him or had died in the explosion.

And what no one noticed was that the culprit was hidden in the crowd, and had even personally participated in digging through the rubble to find the Third Mizukage.

After confirming that the Mizukage was well and truly dead, Genichi quietly dispersed with the crowd, then used the Flying Thunder God Technique in an empty corner to leave the village for good. In such a chaotic time, no one noticed him at all.

And the Village Hidden in the Mist began to descend into internal turmoil.
