Otherworldly Desert Dust

Chapter 5: Chapter 2: Shh! Don't Make a Sound_3

"Cough cough cough cough~~~~~"

The girl's laughter was extremely sharp, not at all like a normal person, more like a lunatic from a mental hospital!

In an instant, the girl's face turned extremely gloomy!

She beckoned to the air,

and saw a silhouette slowly emerging beside her. As the outline became clearer, an evil entity with trumpet-like ears and scythe blade claws appeared from the air!!

It was the terrifying Head-cutting Evil Spirit!!

It hadn't left at all!!

It was just invisible here!

What made Wu Hen's scalp tingle and breathless with fear was,

the Head-cutting Evil Spirit was currently squatting beside the girl. The girl was petting it—like a pet kept by her!

"How boring, a mute came along. I thought I could reap another living soul!" the girl said coldly.

Then, the girl suddenly jumped up, and her lower body grew onto the back of the Head-cutting Evil Spirit!

Wu Hen's eyes almost popped out upon seeing this scene.

The girl had been wearing a long dress earlier and hadn't moved at all, so Wu Hen didn't realize that her lower body was like roots!!!

She wasn't human at all!!

————————

(Uncle Luan: After finishing Shadow of the Solar Eclipse, I had a serious illness. I could clearly feel that I was getting older, and my body was in a mess. I even wondered if I would end up like Ji Yun, because at that time my heart was racing and my body was completely out of balance...

I knew there would come a day when I would collapse and could no longer create for everyone, but I didn't expect that day to come so quickly...

Fortunately, Heaven only gave me a warning. I was just living unhealthily, too secluded.

I'm really grateful, because my mind is still brimming with passionate stories and my inspiration and ideas keep pouring out. Those stories might take twenty to thirty years to write, and I still damn well want to keep writing.

If I want to keep writing, I need to adjust my health and mental state; otherwise, the next warning might not just be a warning.

So, for the past six months, I lost weight.

I went from one hundred sixty pounds to one hundred forty pounds.

I exercised, played badminton to stretch my muscles, and practiced freestyle swimming for aerobic exercise.

I gave up heavy flavors and forced myself to eat light.

I didn't allow myself to become an electronic hermit, didn't allow myself to lose interest in everything. As a man who once wrote "League of Legends: Who's the Top," I had to keep an e-sports mindset, which is a belief!

Then I also spent a month reaching Naraka: Bladepoint solo Shura, competing with streamers and professional players!

My family found me growing more reclusive, because of my job's nature, I rarely communicated with people.

So I started live streaming, chatting with readers and authors daily, like talking with old friends after work, to return to my cheerful and outgoing nature.

Through interactions with everyone these days, I know that you all still love "Full-time Mage" the most, and I understand you want me to continue it.

My creations and themes have always covered a wide range, like the five-element mixed spirit roots of the online literature world. But after finishing Western fantasy, if I didn't challenge myself, there would be no unique "Pet Charm."

If after finishing Beast Taming, I didn't challenge myself, there would be no passionate e-sports novel "League of Legends: Who's the Top."

If I had finished the e-sports book without challenging myself, there would be no urban fantasy "Full-time Mage" that you all still fondly remember.

If you want to write it, then write it!

So I also challenged myself with the unique "Dragon Shepherd" set in an Eastern otherworld, and even the time-space decoding reality suspense "Shadow of the Solar Eclipse."

This past half year, I made so many changes just to keep writing, to show everyone the thrilling stories bursting out of my mind!

Writing novels, writing the novels I want to write, has always been my original motivation for embarking on this path.

If there are works of mine that you like, please continue to support me. The works you love were born from our joint efforts, mine and yours.

During live streams, readers asked me which of my works I am most satisfied with?

In my heart, my most satisfying work is always the next one.

Thank you all for always supporting the Sky of Fish, and Luan.

This time's new journey is "Otherworldly Dust."

I hope you like it.

And truly need your support!
