Chapter 83: Chapter 83: Ambush Vincent? Triple Kill Instead!

"Hahaha, this guy from War Saint Academy was actually playing with the robotic soldiers during the match! I can't stop laughing!"

"He must know he's about to lose, so he's just giving up and goofing around!"

"Classic War Saint behavior. What a clown!"

"Didn't East Arts Academy send three to the middle lane? That guy's dead meat for sure!"

"How will he die? Obviously instant kill!"

The spectator stands erupted with mockery and jeers.

Inside the King's Canyon…

Vincent Fox finally arrived beneath the third energy tower in the middle lane.

The robotic soldiers from both sides had already begun clashing at the center. Their battle was rigid and predictable, slashing at each other with dull force nothing exciting to watch.

Just then, a female student from the East Arts Academy appeared midlane. She gave Vincent a quick glance before focusing on clearing the wave.

She wielded a long blade and effortlessly took down a robotic soldier with a few strikes.

(In King's Canyon, cold weapons are allowed no firearms permitted.)

After killing a bot, the girl gave Vincent a smug, provocative look.

Vincent chuckled.

Her acting was pathetic. He could tell something was off at a glance.

So he walked out.

Let's see what game they're trying to play.

The girl's eyes lit up when she saw him advancing clearly shocked that this War Saint student would fall for such an obvious trap so easily.

She even curled her finger, inviting Vincent to a one-on-one duel.

Vincent grinned and kept walking.

Outside the game world, the commentators chimed in.

"Looks like this War Saint student has zero awareness. He doesn't even know there's an ambush waiting for him. I'd say First Blood is seconds away!"

The viewers were also losing patience.

"What's with War Saint Academy this year? Who sends someone this bad to a national tournament?"

"They were always bottom tier, but at least the past students had some basic skills. This one's just dumb."

"Skill issues are one thing, but this guy's just embarrassing. He'll probably get kicked out of school after this."

"If I were the principal, I'd boot him instantly. Total disgrace."

"Private schools like War Saint are just diploma mills. Who actually thinks they can win?"

"Shh, watch the screen. East Arts Academy is about to move."

Indeed, East Arts was ready to strike.

By now, Vincent had stepped far out from the protection range of his tower.

The female student shot him a mocking glance.

But Vincent suddenly smiled and said calmly, "So, you lured me out because someone's waiting in ambush, right? I'm already here. What are you waiting for?"

The girl flinched, clearly caught off guard.

She hadn't expected Vincent to see through her plan.

Even more baffling why would he still walk into the trap?

'Is he just giving up and offering himself as a free kill?'

Before she could make sense of it, a voice came through her earpiece.

"Do it!"

The next moment, two students from East Arts sprang out of the bushes on either side of the lane, charging straight for Vincent.

Seeing them move, the girl also rushed in with her blade raised.

Three on one!

But Vincent didn't panic.

"I heard the pain sensitivity in King's Canyon is capped at thirty percent. Might sting a little… try not to cry."

With that, he moved.

Whoosh!

Flames burst from both his hands.

He clenched his fists and launched a blazing punch straight at the girl in front of him.

Boom!

A fiery blast shot from his fist like a cannonball, slamming into her before she could react.

Kaboom!

She exploded on impact instantly obliterated.

A clean kill.

Of course, no one really dies in King's Canyon. Her charred remains faded quickly, ready to respawn in ten seconds at the fountain.

First Blood.

But it wasn't Vincent who died.

It was the East Arts student.

The two ambushers froze, stunned that Vincent had just erased their teammate in an instant.

Still, they were already in striking range no turning back now.

Even if this guy was stronger than expected, they had practiced their combo a hundred times. They trusted their plan.

One rushed from the left and tackled Vincent with a bear hug, hoping to restrain him.

The other, from the right, extended a clawed gauntlet toward Vincent's head.

This was their kill shot.

They were confident that they could bring down this "fire-wielding freak."

Vincent could hear the wind howling past his ears as the claw came in.

Still calm.

The flames on his hands surged again.

He brought them together and muttered, "Ignite."

BOOM!!

An eruption of flame exploded outward from his fists, expanding into a massive fireball that engulfed all three of them.

When the flames dissipated, only Vincent remained, completely unharmed.

The other two students lay on the ground burned black, motionless.

Triple Kill.

Flawless execution.

Dominance established.
