Chapter 2: 2
Then Kaito said to Lala, "Tell me about your coming to Earth first."
He needed to organize his thoughts, so he let Lala speak first.
Lala smiled and nodded, "Okay, I came from Deviluke. When I arrived at the Earth Guardian's orbit, I was captured by my family, so I used Leaping Wap-kun to escape. When I reappeared, I was in the bathroom of Kaito's house."
Hearing this, Kaito shook his head: "That's not my bathroom. There is no bathtub in my bathroom."
Lala was curious: "What happened now?"
Kaito shook his head: "I don't know either."
He got up and opened the door. This time, the hallway was still outside. Kaito said, "I just opened this door. I should have seen the hallway, but I saw the bathroom, and you just got out of the bathtub."
Lala nodded suddenly, "I see, it seems that space is distorted."
"Spatial distortion?" Kaito asked curiously.
Lala smiled and said, "Jumping Wap-kun used the ability to move through space to escape, so I was able to travel from the Guardian's orbit to Earth. Kaito, the door you just opened suddenly connected to the bathroom. It must be because Jumping Wap-kun had a malfunction and caused spatial chaos, so it became like this."
Although Lala's explanation made sense, Kaito felt that it was wrong.
Since Lala is a person from the two-dimensional world, but has now arrived in the three-dimensional world, this definitely cannot be explained by spatial confusion.
Then Kaito shook his head: "It shouldn't be like this."
"Isn't it?" Lala asked curiously.
Kaito nodded, but he didn't know how to explain. Then, he suddenly had an idea and took out his phone, opened the browser, and searched. Soon, Lala Satalin Debiruk's name appeared on the phone screen.
That's right, he planned to let Lala go and see for himself. In any case, what happened had already happened, so he wanted Lala to understand the situation first. He didn't plan on hiding anything.
Being open and honest will avoid misunderstandings.
Then Kaito passed the phone directly to Lala: "See for yourself."
Lala took the phone curiously, stared at the phone screen for a while, and then looked at Kaito blankly: "Kaito, I don't recognize the words here."
Kaito: "..."
I almost forgot about that. It's really impossible for aliens to recognize characters on Earth.
Kaito took the phone back and after thinking for a while, decided to read it to her. But Lala suddenly asked with a smile, "Kaito, do you have a toolbox at home?"
Kaito was stunned for a moment, then nodded: "Yes."
Then he went to the miscellaneous storage area above the shoe cabinet at the entrance to the living room and took out a toolbox. Inside were wrenches, small hammers, knives, screwdrivers, and other things. It was a small household toolbox. Kaito also knew why Lala had asked for a toolbox: Lala was a skilled inventor and the best at inventing all kinds of things. Now, she asked for a toolbox probably because she wanted to invent a tool that would help her understand Chinese.
"But this is all I have here. She'll be helpless without the right materials, right?" Kaito smiled.
However, he still gave the toolbox to Lala, in case she could still do something with these limited tools. After all, a master inventor like Lala doesn't care about scientific principles, at least that's what Ron thinks, so the toolbox is now placed in front of Lala.
Lala picked it up and looked at it curiously. She found that it was just a few small tools and asked curiously, "Is that all?"
Kaito nodded: "That's it."
Lala nodded, thought for a moment, and then said, "Then I can only make a simple translator!"
Kaito was surprised: "Can this really be done?"
"Sure!" Lala nodded with a smile.
Then he asked Kaito, "Do you have any materials?"
"What materials?" asked Kaito.
Lala looked around and asked with a smile, "Can I look for it myself?"
"Right." Kaito nodded.
Then Lala began to look around and finally found a cell phone in the desk drawer. It was Kaito's discarded cell phone. Lala's eyes lit up as she picked it up, and she quickly turned to Kaito and asked, "Kaito, can you give me this?"
"Right." Kaito nodded.
Lala smiled sweetly, "Thank you."
Then he sat cross-legged on the floor and began to work.
After fiddling with it for a while, Kaito realized that he suddenly had something that looked like a small cutter in his hand. He cut out many small pieces with a hissing sound. Finally, the small cutter disappeared and turned into a small electric soldering pen to solder the necessary circuit onto something that looked like a chip. He also didn't know when he was wearing lenses in his eyes.
It was completely stunning. Kaito really had no idea how Lala made those tools.
"It's not scientific at all." Kaito shook his head.
Kaito didn't understand what Lala was doing at all. After about half an hour, Lala finally stopped and said, "Done!"
He held a monocle in his hand: "biangbiang translator!"
Kaito was too weak to complain about the name. Lala, on the other hand, had already put on her monocle with a smile on her face. Then, she smiled and said to Kaito, "I can now understand the words above. Let me see this thing right now."
Kaito nodded, took out his cell phone, opened the previous search bar, and showed Lala the entry about Lala Satalin Debiluk.
Lala picked up the device and looked at it curiously. Kaito saw many images appear on Lala's monocle. It was obvious that the monocle was working. Then, Kaito paid attention to Lala's expression and noticed that she had changed from a smile at first to an increasingly surprised expression.
Several minutes passed, and Lala finally looked up: "Is that my information?"
Kaito nodded: "Yes."
Lala blinked, her eyes full of curiosity: "Could it be that the people on Earth are so powerful? How did they manage to find out so much information about me? Don't they say that the people on Earth have no way to leave the planet? Where did this information come from?"
As soon as Kaito heard this, he realized that she had only glanced superficially and had not looked carefully, because if she had looked carefully, she would not have had this doubt.
Then Kaito said, "We earthlings really have no way to leave the planet, so this information is not collected on your planet.
You can see this by reading the introduction in the first line. It should be able to answer your questions."
Lala looked curiously and after a while asked Kaito again: "What does comics mean?"
