Chapter 2: The Diagon Alley Adventure – Rudra's Grand Entrance

The Weekend Arrives: Matron, Magic, and Mind Games

The weekend finally came. Rudra, dressed in his "innocent genius" attire, waited as Professor Minerva McGonagall arrived at the orphanage. The matron, Mrs. Eleanor, greeted her politely—until Minerva subtly waved her wand.

Obliviate.

The matron blinked, dazed. "Ah... who did you say you were again?"

"Professor Minerva McGonagall. I've come regarding Rudra. He's been accepted to a very special school."

"A special school?"

Rudra walked in with a perfectly innocent smile. "Good afternoon, Professor."

Minerva smiled back, but her gaze sharpened as she explained Hogwarts and the magical world. Rudra listened, nodding at the right moments, then casually levitated a chair. It floated perfectly still in midair.

Minerva's mouth twitched. "Remarkable. Such precise control... at your age?"

"Just a party trick." Rudra grinned.

"Party trick, indeed!" Minerva cleared her throat, regaining composure. "Matron, may I take Rudra to Diagon Alley for school supplies?"

The matron, still dazed, simply nodded.

To Diagon Alley: Magic Teleportation and First Impressions

With a flick of her wand, Minerva side-apparated Rudra.

WHOOSH!

They landed in front of a shabby-looking pub.

"Welcome to the Leaky Cauldron," Minerva said. "Follow me."

Rudra admired the worn-out sign. "Iconic."

Inside, Tom the barman greeted them with a nod. Minerva led Rudra to a brick wall behind the pub.

"Watch closely," she said, tapping the bricks in a specific pattern with her wand.

CLICK—CLACK—CLINK!

The wall shifted, bricks folding away to reveal Diagon Alley.

"Welcome," Minerva said. "To the wizarding world."

Rudra's eyes widened. "Now this is what I signed up for."

The narrow alley buzzed with witches and wizards. Shops displayed spellbooks, potions, and robes. The air smelled of parchment, herbs, and mystery. Children dragged their parents to broom shops, and goblins eyed the crowd suspiciously.

"I could get used to this," Rudra whispered.

The Goblin Business at Gringotts

"First stop—Gringotts," Minerva said.

The white marble bank towered over the alley. Goblins with sharp features argued at the entrance. Rudra observed them closely.

They're always fighting—classic power struggle, he mused.

Inside, a goblin greeted them curtly. After verifying Rudra's registration, the goblin handed over a small pouch.

"Two hundred Galleons. For your supplies."

Rudra smiled politely. For now.

Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions

Madam Malkin welcomed them warmly. "Hogwarts, dear?"

Rudra nodded, stepping onto the stool. As the robes were fitted, he casually remarked, "Wouldn't temperature control charms be useful? Wrinkle-free enchantments, too."

Madam Malkin blinked. "What a clever boy."

Minerva eyed him suspiciously. "Always thinking ahead, aren't you?"

"It's a habit."

Flourish and Blotts: Knowledge is Power

At the bookstore, Rudra checked on textbooks, then casually observed advanced potions journals and law books.

"Er... you're not expected to study these for years," Minerva commented.

"Oh, I like to stay prepared," Rudra replied, flipping through a spell theory tome.

Cauldrons, Scales, and Supplies

A quick stop for cauldrons, potion kits, and other essentials followed. Rudra examined each item carefully before storing them discreetly in his inventory when Minerva wasn't looking.

Ollivanders – The Wand Chooses the Wizard

Finally, they reached the narrow wand shop.

"Ah, new student, eh?" Ollivander emerged from the shadows. "Let's see..."

He theatrically waved his wand. Rudra remained unfazed.

"Not impressed?" Ollivander asked.

"Try harder," Rudra deadpanned.

After several failed attempts, Ollivander grew frustrated. "Are you sure you're magical?"

Rudra smirked. He casually lifted a stack of wands with telekinesis.

Ollivander stared. "Remarkable..."

Suddenly, a box flew from the farthest corner, landing before Rudra.

Ollivander opened it with trembling hands. "Incredible... This wand—made from the branch of the Bodhi Tree and a holly peacock feather. A saint's wand, perfect for elemental spells and soul magic. My great-great-grandfather crafted it during his travels in India."

As Rudra held the wand, a golden aura shimmered. Minerva gasped. "A perfect match."

Rudra smirked. "I knew I had taste."

Back to the Orphanage—Or So It Seemed

Minerva handed him a train ticket. "Platform 9¾. King's Cross. September first. Don't be late."

Rudra smiled. "Wouldn't dream of it."

Once alone, he stored all supplies in his inventory. The next day, while everyone slept, he slipped away.

Rudra's Solo Return to Diagon Alley

Rudra entered Gringotts confidently.

"I'd like to open an account."

The goblin barely looked up. "Minimum deposit: 1,000 Galleons."

"Conversion rate?"

The goblin pointed at a board. Rudra grinned and dropped 5 kg of gold bars on the counter.

CLANK!

"Convert these."

The goblin's eyes gleamed. After calculations, Rudra now had 5,643 Galleons. He withdrew 643 for shopping.

Fashion Genius Strikes Again

Back at Madam Malkin's, Rudra requested modifications: temperature regulation, stain-resistant fabric, and wrinkle-free enchantments. He presented sketches of modern fashion blends.

"These ideas... brilliant!" Madam Malkin gasped.

"Partnership proposal: modern wizard fashion," Rudra offered with a wink.

More Books and a New Companion

Rudra purchased more advanced spellbooks, wizarding law texts, and potion subscriptions—another 350 Galleons well spent.

At the magical pet shop, a black eagle with golden eyes caught his attention.

"I'll take him. Name's Garuda."

After buying supplies for Garuda, Rudra sent him to his private dimension with Maya's help.

Preparation in the Private Dimension

Every night, Rudra practiced spells in his dimension. Maya simulated potion brewing while Rudra read about wizarding laws and ancient family histories.

"Soon, Hogwarts will witness greatness," Rudra muttered.

The Journey Begins: Platform 9¾

September first. Rudra arrived at King's Cross, observing Harry Potter and the Weasley family vanish through the pillar. After a moment, Rudra followed suit.

WHOOSH!

The Hogwarts Express gleamed in front of him. Rudra boarded a cabin, settled in, and smirked.

"Hogwarts... here I come."
