Oops, I Accidentally Ascended to Godhood

Chapter 74: Drazmir Clan

Tarkan was getting ready to go and explore the city.

He wanted to leave for the dimension as soon as possible after checking out the city.

He knew putting his strength growth on delay was not an option.

Slim was waiting by the door for Tarkan so they could leave together.

Immediately after admiring the room, Ricky left Slim and Tarkan to go sightseeing in the city. Tarkan had suggested they wait till the evening, but Ricky lacked the patience to wait that long and left immediately. His body was too excited to stay in one place.

Tarkan wasn't in a hurry. He liked seeing cities at night, when the lights showed what they really looked like.

Knock knock knock

They both heard a knock and were surprised. They didn't think it was Ricky, because he could just use his bracelet to open the door.

Tarkan immediately clicked something on his bracelet, and a video recording of his door's front view came to his eyes.

It was one of the many features the building had, which was very useful.

But when Tarkan checked the recording, he didn't see anybody at his front door.

And he knew he wasn't imagining things. They both heard the knock loud and clear.

But looking at the video closely, Tarkan saw an envelope neatly placed at the front of the room.

Tarkan didn't know if it was a prank or not, but he quickly opened the door and glanced around, and surely, there was no one around.

Tarkan picked up the envelope, stepped in, and closed the door without any hiccups.

Tarkan wasn't worried the envelope was a bomb. If he felt any form of danger, he could quickly reverse time and avoid it altogether. No biggie.

Slim, who was watching the envelope in Tarkan's hand, was looking at it with a complicated expression.

Tarkan, seeing the way Slim was looking at the envelope, was surprised.

"Do you know something about this envelope?" Tarkan asked

"Drazmir's," Slim said matter-of-factly.

Tarkan was surprised. How would he know it was from the Drazmir family without even opening the envelope?

That's when Tarkan also noticed the red stamp that was used to seal the envelope. On it, there was a skeleton head with what looked like swords protruding from its eyes.

"Is this their logo?" Tarkan pointed to the logo and asked, to which Slim only nodded calmly.

Tarkan couldn't help but wonder which creepy fellow would design such a creepy logo.

If the goal was to intimidate, it definitely got the job done.

Tarkan threw the envelope to Slim and told him to read what was written out to him.

Tarkan went back to tying his hair.

Tarkan had opened his face to Slim, but Slim had no change in his reaction when he saw it, which kind of surprised him and pleased him more.

He hated wearing the mask everywhere he went. He needed to find a solution to his facial feature problem because he couldn't continue living like this forever.

"Tarkan Drazmir, you are officially summoned to the acknowledgment ceremony of the Drazmir clan.

You are requested to show the red card to any official in Thira and you would be brought to us to complete rituals and include your name on the Drazmir family tree.

Endeavor to use the card within three days."

Slim read aloud to Tarkan.

In the envelope, there was a red-looking card with engravings Tarkan did not understand.

After observing it in fascination for a few moments, Tarkan immediately threw the card in the bin, which instantly shredded it to pieces.

"Master, nooo!!!"

Slim, who was beside him, was first startled by the action, but before he could get to the letter and the card, they were already shredded to pieces.

Tarkan did not say a word and just looked at Slim with a weird expression.

Slim, who usually always had a plain expression, was looking as if Tarkan had just committed a taboo.

He immediately opened the compact machine and was trying to piece the card together.

"Why are you so anxious?" Tarkan asked, going back to straightening his hair.

"Master, you don't know what you have done..." Slim started saying in an anxious tone.

"Will it affect you in a negative way?" Tarkan cut him off, not the least bit bothered about Slim's rambling.

"No, but the amount of resources, the influence..." Slim immediately answered, trying to explain the gravity of the situation.

"Are you loyal to the Drazmir clan or to me, Tarkan?" Tarkan cut him off again, now dropping the comb he was using to brush his hair and looking at Slim directly, intently, into his eyes, as if wanting to spot any lies.

"Even if you were to choose to go to war with the Drazmir clan, I will always stand and be with you till death," Slim said this without hesitation.

"But..."

"Then let's go do some sightseeing."

Tarkan, who was looking into Slim's eyes intently, suddenly smiled, cutting him off for the uncountable number of times now.

Tarkan wore his mask and walked out of the room.

Slim looked at him, wanted to say something, smiled wearily, and held it back.

He immediately got up and followed Tarkan.

As they walked down the hallway, Tarkan glanced sideways.

""Erm, Slim," he said, as if remembering something.

"Yes, Master Tarkan."

"Your speech about being with me till death… was touching."

"That's the truth, Master Tarkan," Slim replied, expression back to neutral.

"I never doubted you. I just want you to know, I'm a hot-blooded man who likes women."

Slim, who was walking with Tarkan, choked on his spit in shock and coughed violently.

"Master Tarkan! I don't like you that way! I'm also a hot-blooded man who likes women!" Slim immediately replied, trying to defend himself.

"Mmmmhmmm."

Tarkan eyed him suspiciously and nodded slowly, as if believing him.

But anyone who saw that nod would know, he didn't believe Slim one bit.

"I swear, I'm straight! I'm into women!"

Slim, seeing Tarkan's expression, gritted his teeth and said.

"Mmmmhmmm."

Tarkan still repeated the same nod.

so, they continued.

And just like that, they kept walking down the hall, leaving behind the shredded card
