Oops, I Accidentally Ascended to Godhood

Chapter 37: Impossible..

Far beyond the reaches of any known realm, in a world untouched by civilization, existed a land governed by its own mysterious ecosystem.

At the peak of a colossal mountain, so massive its scale defied all logic, stood a towering, ancient castle.

Its silhouette pierced the sky through the clouds.

Deep within the castle, sat a throne. constructed entirely of skulls, bathed in a crimson substance that pulsed and flowed through the bone like living veins.

It wasn't mere decoration. It was a symbol, a warning, a legacy soaked in blood.

On the throne rested a Handsome middle-aged man, who sat cross-legged, one hand resting on the skull-armrest, the other motionless.

His eyes closed, but his posture was perfect and poised, relaxed, detached from the world.

"Impossible…"

"How…" a voice escaped his lips, barely more than a whisper.

His eyes snapped open. Crimson irises burned like twin embers. A wave of power rippled through the room.

"How is it even possible to unlock that… in the First Dimension?"

A figure in full guard attire entered without so much as knocking, his voice calm and level.

"Patricha, the family head seeks an audience."

The man on the throne, remained unfazed. "Let him pass."

The guard didn't bow or salute.

He simply turned and left. Moments later, a middle-aged man stepped into the hall.

His irises glowed red too.

And just like the guard, He offered no greeting or formalities. He simply walked in, his eyes filled with respect and reverence for the man on the throne.

"Patricha," he began.

"The Drazmir ancestral tree has recorded a newly awakened presence. One not under surveillance or connected to any of the.."

The seated man raised a hand, silencing him mid-sentence.

"I'm aware. Anything else?"

"No, Patricha," the man replied, his voice low.

"You may leave."

Without another word, the Family Head turned and walked away, just as coldly as he had arrived.

The Patricha remained unfazed. Not a flicker of emotion touched his expression.

"Just when I was growing fond of him.." he muttered, voice distant. "Tch. I had such high expectations for the boy."

He exhaled slowly, expression neutral.

"Still, whoever triggered his Awakening prematurely.. has also signed their own death warrant."

Sigh...

"What a pity.. What a pity indeed."

--

Tarkan moved like a phantom on the battlefield, leaving nothing but carnage in his wake.

One by one, he struck down each Zumbra with blinding speed, so fast it appeared as he was teleporting.

Each time he appeared, two corpses were left behind, their heads split open as green blood exploded outward.

Which surged toward him, flowing into his body.

Each time it did, his wounds closed, His strength increased.

He became faster, more brutal. A storm of violence, unrelenting, untouchable.

At first, the Zumbra tried to resist. They fought back, They swarmed.

But it all didn't matter.

Tarkan was on a spree still killing them like sheeps left and right

Eventually, they turned to flee.

Or they tried to flee.

Tarkan didn't even bother to chase. He didn't even move.

He stood in place, calmly holding two more Zumbra, one in each hand. Their head bursting open like a balloon.

Following the usual pattern their blood should have rushed into him, but this time, it didn't.

Tarkan's crimson eyes focused on the ones fleeing.

The blood vanished from sight, as though obeying a silent command.

A moment later, All the remaining Zumbra, except one, dropped from the sky.

Each of their heads punctured, Dead before they hit the ground.

Their green blood, thicker and more abundant than before, reappeared, coalescing before him.

It surged toward his body, merging into him, increasing his already monstrous strength to greater heights.

High above, the crowned Zumbra queen, the one orchestrating the assault, turned and fled in a hurry. Her body blurred, moving at an impossible speed. If you're not on M*VLEM*PYR, you're viewing a copy.

But death caught up faster.

A single blur passed her in an instant.

A pale hand grasped her stinger mid-flight and yanked her downward like a ragdoll.

SCREEEEECH!

It shrieked in panic.

It monstrous wings flapped with impossible speed, trying to break free. But the hand didn't budge even an inch.

Tarkan's face showed no emotion, Calm, Cold, Ruthless.

Like a child playing with a new toy, he began to drag the queen across the ground, slamming her into the ground, left, right, again and again.

Screeeeech! Screeeeech! Screeeeech!

The stinger, once her deadliest weapon, shattered under the relentless abuse.

Sensing a brief opportunity, the queen tried to escape again.

But she never made it far.

Her wings, known to flap 262 times per second, didn't get to complete one.

The moment she lifted off, those blood-red eyes locked onto her again.

Tarkan's hands were already wrapped around her wings.

Scrreeacchhhhhh... Scrreeacchhhhhh...

He tore them straight from her body.

The Queen screamed like a pig at slaughter, her body writhing in agony.

Tarkan slowly lifted a hand and pressed it against her head.

Her head caved in. Green blood exploded outward, surging into his body in an instant.

The Zumbra queen died without another sound.

Tarkan stood still. The clothes he wore just moments ago were gone, ripped away during the battle.

His body was bare, fully healed.

Every scratch, puncture, and tear had vanished.

His red eyes slowly dimmed.

"Aaaarghh...!"

Agony erupted inside him.

It felt like being tossed into an oven.

Like his body was being roasted alive.

His heart, once healed by the Zumbra blood, tore open again.

His lungs collapsed. Every organ twisted and burned.

The wounds that had closed moments ago burst open anew. Even the physical punctures on his skin reversed.

His body, now shriveling, decomposing at visible speed, began to fall apart.

Yet through the agony, a faint smile crept onto his face.

Using what little strength he had left, Tarkan lifted his hand and placed it over his bare chest.

"Revert... one minute."
