Oops, I Accidentally Ascended to Godhood

Chapter 34: Magnus virell

Cassian flung Tarkan like a ragged doll, slamming him into different places, He tried various methods of torture, each more brutal than the last.

Cassian seemed to enjoy experimenting, testing the limits of Tarkan's endurance with each blow, each bone-breaking crunch, followed by a sickly sweet potion forced down his throat just in time to keep him alive. Barely.

This cruel cycle repeated so often that Tarkan had long since lost count.

Pain blurred into pain. Time dissolved into nothingness.

At some point, Tarkan stopped fighting back. His body, shredded and bruised beyond recognition, gave in.

Just as he was about to give up all hope, a sudden thought struck him.

He hadn't even been in this realm for a full day yet. In fact, the more he thought about it, it was this same day that he'd first met Cassian, who had clearly arrived to get himself registered too, just like him.

[Timer: 00:2:62 (Lvl 2)]

> Reverse: Reverse time without restriction, as long as enough time is available.

Revert: Reverse time without restriction for a single target, as long as enough time is available.

His gaze landed on "Revert."

He had used it before, but only on non-living things. Now that he thought about it, he had never once tried using it on a living person.

He suddenly had a crazy idea of how he might make it out of this alive.

Could it work on him?

He stared at the remaining timer. He had no idea what would happen... but the thought alone gave him hope, This was his one and only chance, He had to use it well.

Now the problem was figuring out how he could make contact, Because to activate the skill, he needed to make physical contact with him.

That was the hard part.

Cassian's foot slammed down on his chest again, knocking the breath from his lungs. Laughter echoed from the sadist above him, He seemed to be enjoying the whole ordeal far too much.

Yet instead of crying out, Tarkan started laughing, like a madman.

"You stupid cunt... you could've just killed me," Tarkan muttered, looking half-dead.

Cassian paused mid-strike, intrigued.

He stood still, clearly enjoying the pathetic state Tarkan was in.

Tarkan, dragging his mangled body, struggled to get near him. Every movement felt like hell, but his mind was sharp, clearer than ever.

"But no…" Tarkan coughed up blood, spitting it at Cassian's feet. "You had to feed your stupid ego."

He lifted a trembling hand to strike Cassian.

Who grinned smugly and didn't even bother defending.

As Tarkan's hand landed on Cassian's shoulder, all the rage he had bottled up, from the moment he'd stepped into the Terra Building, to the officer's arrogance, to the humiliation and frustration, all surged forth.

Tarkan leaned closer, until his bloodied mask brushed Cassian's ear.

In a voice that sent chills down even Cassian's spine, Tarkan muttered,

"I promise you… if I make it out of this alive, I will erase every last Virel from existence. And will make sure your name and lineage vanish from history."

"Fuck you," Cassian replied.

Tarkan whispered in his mind.

"Revert… 2 minutes, 62 seconds."

The timer screen flickered.

[Timer: 00:00:00 (Lvl 2)]

Revert: Reverse time without restriction on a single target, as long as you have enough time.

Cassian, who had been grinning moments ago, suddenly vanished.

He felt his body weaken in an instant.

Shock appeared in his eyes. He immediately backed away from Tarkan, horror washing over his face.

He raised his hand, trying to activate his talent, but nothing happened.

"Impossible," Cassian muttered.

His eyes widened, landing on Tarkan, who had lost his balance and now lay on the ground, silently staring at him.

"You... what did you do to me?!"

"What did you do to my talent?!"

"What did you do to my prime points, you filthy lowborn?!" he screamed, preparing to rush at Tarkan.

Suddenly, numerous glowing symbols and artifacts began emerging from Cassian, shimmering around his body as if detecting an imminent threat.

And then..

Cassian exploded.

No fire, No blood.

Just silence, His body evaporated, every particle varnishing into nothingness.

Only his belongings remained, raining softly to the ground.

--

Somewhere far away, outside the dimension realm

In a high-ceilinged chamber, a round obsidian table sat at the heart of a lavish hall.

Around it, six men in immaculate suits held a quiet meeting.

One presenter spoke with confidence.

"I assure you, this would serve to your best interests. The world has resources and an abundance of workers. You'd hardly need to spend anything on labor, And to top it all..."

"Impossible."

A voice boomed, cutting through the calm.

"Who dares?!"

Suddenly, one of the seated men stood up. His face was filled with pure killing intent.

The man who had been presenting trembled violently, losing control of his bladder.

A dark patch spread down his trousers before he collapsed on the floor, unconscious from pure fear.

"Magnus, what's wrong? Calm down and control your killing intent," one of the others said coolly.

Despite the overwhelming aura pouring out of Magnus, there wasn't a hint of fear in his voice, only surprise.

The other four at the table looked on with curiosity.

Magnus didn't answer.

Instead, he pulled out a golden scroll, and crushed it with fury burning in his eyes.

---

A moment later, Magnus appeared before a large door leading into a grand hall.

Two guards stationed at the entrance bowed and opened the door immediately.

Without sparing them a glance, Magnus stormed inside, murder in his gaze.

The hall was already packed with people, most of them shifting uncomfortably at the thick tension in the air.

He walked straight to the lead seat, slammed himself into it, and roared.

"Can someone tell me… what the fuck happened to my son?! Who killed him?!" Please read this chapter on its original platform—M|V|L1EMPYR.

The room fell silent

The crowd tensed feeling suffocated from the atmosphere.

A middle-aged man stepped forward, trembling.

"F-family head… we do not know how he died or who killed him. He entered the first dimension earlier today with a small group, There was no sign of..."

"Wasn't there a sergeant assigned to protect him?! He was supposed to be in the second dimension by now! Why the hell was he still in the first?"

Magnus's voice boomed like thunder.

"With all the artifacts he carried, there shouldn't be a single soul in that realm capable of harming him! Even in the second dimension, those able to harm him can be counted on one hand."

The man swallowed hard. "Yes, family head, The sergeant did ensure the young master safety.

But… after maxing his prime points, the young master left with some friends. They said he wanted to teach a lowborn a lesson…"

Magnus narrowed his eyes.

"His name was Tarkan," the man continued. "They said the young master beat and tortured him for a while.

Then, apparently, he got angry and pushed his friends away.

That's… the last thing we know. Investigators are on route to the scene..."

Magnus raised a finger, Slashed it across the air.

The man's head fell before his body hit the floor.

Blood pooled at the feet of the next man standing nearby.

Magnus turned to him, voice like frost.

"Bring me the one who killed my son. Twenty-four hours, Or your family will take his place."

The man's lips trembled.

"Yes, Family Head."
