Facing Ian's invitation, Sakazuki's anger surged. "Talk? What's there to talk about with a mere pirate!"

The Haki surged wildly, and anyone unaware might think he had awakened the Conqueror's Haki due to the intense pressure.

Tritoma snorted coldly, stepping hard on the ground, causing the bones of Onigumo's cheek to creak under the force. "Otherwise, we'll kill them!"

Even the cold Sakazuki hesitated at this point.

The ones captured weren't just any random people; they were the comrades who had fought alongside him in life-and-death situations for years.

"You need to understand one thing, you magma bastard," Ian's expression grew serious. "I'm not the one asking now. You're the one asking me."

Momonga's face turned pale, and he repeatedly apologized, "Sorry, Sakazuki-sama. It's our fault for dragging you down."

Onigumo's expression grew serious, "Sakazuki-sama, that's the Beast Pirates."

Not only had the mission failed, but if they were to forcefully engage the Beast Pirates, the losses would be huge.

Sakazuki gritted his teeth.

This man is a candidate for admiral in the Navy! He's extremely important to the Navy, and to the entire World Government.

If they kill him, even the Beast Pirates wouldn't be able to save the Kuja Pirates.

"But we can capture him and negotiate with the World Government."

"You think you can?!"

Sakazuki also realized the current situation.

So they had already found out about the changes here?

It must've been reported to the higher-ups in the Navy as soon as he and Yamato made their appearance.

"Don't rush, old friend," Ian smiled.

"Now it's my turn to ask you—why does the Navy dare to take action on the territory of our Beast Pirates?"

"Stop treating me like an idiot!"

The voice on the other end, Mr. Goat from CP0, was furious.

"You're provoking the Navy! Provoking the World Government!"

"You're the ones provoking the Beast Pirates."

When it came to talking back, Ian was never bothered by it.

"I should remind you, old friend, that the current situation here is that, aside from Vice Admiral Sakazuki, all the other Navy forces have been completely wiped out."

"What!"

Mr. Goat froze, his voice filled with disbelief.

"What kind of joke is this! How could you possibly do such a thing!"

"Don't believe me?"

Ian smiled as he walked over to Momonga's side and handed the Den Den Mushi to the guy's mouth. "Here, tell my old friend about your situation. Remember to be honest and objective."

Momonga only stared at Ian in shock.

Is he really talking to CP0? 

Or is he just pretending, dialing a random number to bluff?

"Five seconds."

Ian stared at the silent Momonga and spoke up, "If he still doesn't want to speak in five seconds, Yamato, smash the ice sculpture in your hand."

"Got it!"

Yamato obviously didn't care.

Momonga suddenly shuddered. "I'll talk!"

Now was his chance to call for help!

"I'm Rear Admiral Momonga from Marine headquarters! Vice Admiral Sakazuki fell into Ian's trap and was seriously injured. He can't do anything to them now. I, along with Onigumo, were captured by the Kuja Pirates, and Doberman was defeated and captured by Kaido's daughter. He's right—except for Vice-Admiral Sakazuki, everyone else was wiped out. Even..."

He paused, glancing at Sakazuki, whose face had turned as dark as coal. "Mr. Sakazuki's situation isn't looking good either. His injuries are too severe."

Blood was still dripping from his nostrils! 

There was a long silence on the other end of the line.

Ian raised an eyebrow. "Still don't believe me?"

Then, he picked up the Den Den Mushi again and pointed it at Sakazuki. "Sakazuki, you speak too. Rear Admiral Momonga doesn't seem that well-known. My old friend doesn't recognize him."

"If you don't answer, Yamato..."

"I'm ready anytime!"

Yamato grinned as he lifted Doberman's ice sculpture high.

Sakazuki's face turned ashen, and a terrifying heat radiated from his body. Even the blood pouring from his nostrils was evaporating instantly.

With an immense sense of humiliation and discomfort, the man finally spoke, "I fell for this bastard's ambush."

Ambush?

Ian scoffed. "That punch of mine was a direct hit."

Does that mean Shanks' dodge against Kid was also an ambush?

Sakazuki wanted to curse.

Who could've expected this guy to suddenly unleash such power?
