Chapter 45: 45. Unleashed Power

"You guys follow Sea Cow Moo Moo and take them out!" Chew shouted, pointing at the humans standing behind Aero. They had to act fast if Arlong stayed in his rage-fueled state much longer, the entire park would end up as rubble.
"Yes, sir!"
"Attack! Charge!"
The Fishmen charged forward alongside Moo Moo, weapons in hand.
But midway through their charge, Moo Moo and the Fishmen froze.
They had just witnessed something no one expected Arlong, their boss, had been launched through the air by a single punch from that human. His body slammed into the opposite wall, leaving a deep crater as he crumpled to the ground.
Their eyes went wide with disbelief. Arlong… defeated with a single blow?
Over at the collapsed section of the wall, the villagers of Cocoyashi Village stood, gripping their farming tools as they watched the battle unfold.
"Is he even human…?"
"He took down Arlong with one hit! That's insane!"
Outside, five cloaked pirates smirked proudly. What did they expect? That was their captain.
"Stop gawking and get moving!" Chew barked. Even he hadn't expected Aero to be this powerful but he wasn't worried. He knew just how tough Arlong was.
Regaining his composure, Chew dragged Kuroobi to safety. Once he saw Kuroobi was still alive, he turned toward the wreckage and called out, "Hachi! How long do you plan to lie there?!"
Right on cue, the stone slab under Dylan and Eddie's feet started shifting.
They jumped back just in time as Hachi, a towering octopus Fishman, heaved the slab aside.
Hachi stared at Aero and roared, "Unforgivable! You dare hurt my brothers?! octo Smash!"
With that, he hurled the giant boulder in his hands straight toward Aero.
Aero turned slightly at the sound, calmly lifting the same arm he'd just used to pummel Arlong.
As the stone came crashing down, he extended his palm. A fierce, focused burst of wind erupted from it and the massive rock was shredded into pieces midair.
Hachi stared at the fragments still in his hands, stunned. This human's strength was unreal.
But Aero had already shifted his attention forward toward the approaching Fishmen, weapons drawn, charging at full speed.
He clenched his fist, compressing the wind around him into razor-sharp pressure blades. His cloak flapped violently in the gale as he unleashed the stored wind with both hands.
"Wind Blades!"
The compressed air screamed forward, slicing through the charging Fishmen like invisible razors. Wherever the wind passed, it carved deep gashes into the ground, leaving a wide-open path of devastation.
Those who survived skidded to a stop, paralyzed not by injury, but by fear. Their fallen comrades lay at their feet, their blood soaking the earth.
Then, a massive horned head lunged at Aero.
Moo Moo had finally joined the fight.
But Aero, already in tune with the air around him, dodged effortlessly using his elemental mobility. Moo Moo's horns tore up the park's floor, sending debris flying.
The beast's eyes widened Aero was already above him.
Aero's fist clenched, spiraling with dense, focused wind currents. With one clean strike, he slammed his knuckles into Moo Moo's skull.
CRACK!
The beast's massive frame shook, its head dented inward. Moo Moo collapsed instantly, slamming deep into the sea.
Waves surged from the crater, spraying high into the air. Water droplets rained down like glittering glass.
The Fishmen shivered where they stood drenched, stunned, and hopeless.
Even the sea, once their home, their pride, offered no comfort now.
Among the villagers, someone whispered, "That… that's not something a human should be capable of…"
Chew stood frozen in the back, eyes wide in disbelief. Only Arlong, he thought, only Arlong could fight something like this.
Hachi didn't even move not out of fear, but because what he saw shook him to the core: Fishmen, his people, sprawled and broken all around him.
Before he could act, Dylan slid behind him and pressed a bladed Cat Claw to his throat.
"Don't move," Dylan warned. Hachi froze. Within seconds, he was bound and subdued.
"Hey! Hey!! What the hell are you doing?!" Arlong finally rose from the rubble, fury burning in his eyes. His gaze swept over the battlefield his fallen comrades, his broken park, and finally, Aero.
"Boss Arlong!" The remaining Fishmen perked up. Their spirits rallied just a bit but they didn't charge at Aero. Instead, they targeted Dylan and Eddie.
Eddie grinned as they approached. "Finally! Let's go!"
With a wild laugh, he launched himself into the fray. Dylan, having knocked Hachi out cold, joined him without hesitation.
Aero descended from the air, landing with a controlled thud. His eyes locked with Arlong's.
This time, there was no arrogance or mockery in Arlong's gaze only hatred.
"You're a Devil Fruit user…?" Arlong growled, wiping blood from his lip.
"That's right," Aero replied, raising his fading, wind-like arm. "And not just any fruit. I'm a Logia. You've been to the Grand Line you should know what that means."
"Then tell me… why are you here, human?"
Aero's eyes narrowed.
"To prove that the East Blue… isn't yours to dominate."
