Faced with this sudden question, Anos was momentarily at a loss for words.

The question itself was more of a hypothetical than a practical one.

What Fujitora sought wasn't a vision of what Anos wanted to do in the future but what he was capable of achieving.

Anos didn't hesitate for long. He replied firmly, "The world is in chaos right now. If I gain the power, I just want to ensure that more people can live in a stable environment at the very least, provide them with a sense of security."

"But even with the best intentions, no one can guarantee a truly stable life in a world like this."

"If you have some strength, you protect the people around you. If you have great strength, you protect a nation. And if the people around you possess immense strength, what's stopping us from protecting the entire world?"

As Anos spoke these bold words, an aura of Conqueror's Haki began to overflow from his body, sparking blue lightning that danced around him.

His presence was almost divine, exuding overwhelming authority.

"Haha… It's rare to hear such audacious words!" Fujitora laughed heartily, his voice brimming with admiration. "I'll remember those words. If you truly gain the strength to protect this world, I'd like to witness it myself."

"But for now, I accept your invitation. From this day forward, I shall serve as the general of the Tru Kingdom, and I will protect this world alongside you!"

Fujitora's declaration was met with stunned silence. Anos froze for a moment, processing the unexpected turn of events. But then, a wide grin spread across his face, his joy unmistakable.

While Anos was elated, the others were bewildered. Abona, Daiki, and the other attendees exchanged confused glances, trying to decipher what had just transpired.

"Your Majesty… what is going on?" Daiki asked his expression a mix of doubt and curiosity.

It had only been a month since this peculiar figure, Fujitora, appeared, and now he was suddenly being appointed as the Kingdom's general.

Abona, too, was perplexed. Though he could sense Fujitora's strength, he didn't fully understand the scope of it.

Anos, however, couldn't contain his excitement. He spun around twice, grinning from ear to ear, his joy unrestrained. "General Fujitora, thank you for joining our family in the Tru Kingdom. Rest assured, as King of this Kingdom, the words I speak today will come to fruition when I gain the strength to make them a reality."

Taking a deep breath, Anos steadied himself and spoke with calm determination. Despite his excitement, his resolve was clear.

While he didn't consider himself a flawless king, he firmly believed in his ability to address critical issues better than many others.

Fujitora, in turn, bowed slightly and replied, "It's my honour to serve this Kingdom. Since I've chosen to join the Tru Kingdom, I'll do my utmost. I look forward to your guidance, Your Majesty."

The soldiers and advisors remained puzzled, struggling to comprehend why Anos was so thrilled or why someone like Fujitora was being entrusted with such a significant position.

In general, he would become the second most powerful individual in the Kingdom, answerable only to the King.

"General Fujitora, while I'm overjoyed to have you join our nation, there are formalities we must observe," Anos said with a smirk.

"I understand," Fujitora nodded. "Where shall we begin?"

"Daiki, summon everyone immediately. I want to officially introduce General Fujitora to the Kingdom's special forces. Abona, prepare yourself for the next challenge!"

Daiki quickly understood the King's intentions. Anos wanted Fujitora to demonstrate his strength by duelling the Kingdom's top warriors.

Abona and Daiki shared a knowing look. It was a reasonable approach—if Fujitora was to lead the army, he needed to prove his capability by besting their strongest fighters.

"Abona," Anos said seriously, "General Fujitora is also a swordsman. Spar with him later and learn from his technique. It will greatly benefit you in the future."

"Your Majesty, I'm afraid I may be too old to provide proper guidance. Abona's strength is already exceptional. I doubt there's much I could teach him," Fujitora said humbly.

"General Fujitora, I hope you'll provide me with guidance nonetheless," Abona replied with a smile. "The fact that His Majesty holds you in such high regard is proof of your abilities. I look forward to learning from you."

While Abona spoke with respect, he harboured no resentment. He knew there were many stronger than him in the world, and it was always possible to encounter someone who could surpass him in strength.

Daiki remained silent, watching the interaction. Although Abona was stronger than him, even he acknowledged the King's rare praise for Fujitora.

This clearly indicated that Anos had recognized Fujitora's remarkable strength in advance.

As the emergency summons went out and the special forces began gathering, the stage was set for Fujitora's formal introduction and the duel that would cement his position as the Kingdom's general.
