Boom! Boom! Boom!

The entire floating island, the HQ of the Dark Guild Tartaros, shook violently.

The ground on either side of the main building began to rise, forming a colossal wave of earth and debris hundreds of meters high.

This earthen wave surged towards the HQ, threatening to crush everyone within. Nine-tenths of Tartaros' forces would likely perish in such an onslaught.

"Is this for real?!" Everyone's eyes widened in disbelief, sweat pouring down their faces.

The sheer scale of the attack was unbelievable. It was clear that whoever was responsible possessed power on par with their Creator Zeref

"Silver!" Kyôka shouted, knowing that among them, only Silver, with his Ice Devil Slayer Magic, could counter such an attack. She was counting on him to be their trump card.

Silver, despite his hatred for the demons of Tartaros, couldn't simply stand by and watch them be annihilated.

He stepped forward, hoping this unknown enemy was powerful enough to destroy Tartaros completely.

"Absolute Zero: Silver World…"

Whoosh!

Frigid air condensed, and ice began to spread from Silver's feet. In an instant, the surging wave of earth and debris was frozen solid.

"That's Silver's Absolute Zero?!"

"Amazing… but it's freezing in here!"

"Phew… That was close." Silver pretended to be relieved. Acnologia, seeing his attack thwarted, was slightly surprised.

"Ice Demon's Rage!"

A blast of icy energy, similar to a Dragon Slayer's Roar, erupted from Silver's mouth.

Acnologia, facing the Gigantic blast, smiled and swallowed it whole....

"..."

"He… he ate it?! What the hell!"

The demons of Tartaros were horrified. They knew that devouring souls was a demon's specialty, while magic was a dragon's domain. How could this person do both?

"Could it be…?"

Suddenly, they thought of two individuals. Only they could be both a demon and a dragon.

"I'll return the favor."

A terrifying black beam shot from Acnologia's mouth, striking Silver. The resulting explosion was deafening, like a miniature sun had ignited.

"Did he escape?" They wondered if Silver had evaded the attack. "Using Devil Slayer Magic… If you want to fight me, get Zeref to do it himself."

Although Silver's body had been blasted to pieces, his soul had managed to escape. After all, Silver wasn't a demon. If he died, that was it.

Acnologia vanished once more.

"Look out!" Kyôka screamed.

"Full Body Hardening!" Torafuzar quickly activated his Curse, his body hardening like a diamond.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Uwaaahhh!"

Torafuzar screamed in pain, his body taking heavy damage. Acnologia was about to finish him off when…

"City of Death!" A horde of skeletal warriors emerged from the ground around Acnologia.

"You think these things can stop me?"

He snorted, unleashing a torrent of magical power that crushed the skeletons.

Crack! Crack!

"How could this be?!" The skeletal remains of the dead were instantly pulverized. Keyes, the Necromancer, was shocked.

Acnologia opened his mouth, a dark-blue magical energy gathering within. He was aiming at Torafuzar.

"Dammit!!"

In such a short time, four of their comrades had been killed, and they hadn't even had a chance to react.

"Self-Enhancement!" Kyôka activated her Etherious form, boosting her power. In this state, she could enhance herself every second.

"Haaa!"

Seilah, with blinding speed, charged towards Acnologia. But in an instant, he vanished again.

"What?!"

Suddenly, Seilah felt her balance shift. Acnologia had appeared at her side, his hand pressed against her head, sending her flying.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Uwaaahhh!"

Seilah screamed as she crashed through countless walls. Kyôka, her fingers transformed into sharp claws, attacked Acnologia.

But Acnologia ignored her, his defenses impenetrable. Her claws simply bounced off his skin.

Acnologia, moving with incredible speed, appeared before Torafuzar. He activated his Full-Body Hardening.

Torafuzar was considered to have the strongest water-based abilities and defenses among the Nine Demon Gates. But now... his face was pale, knowing that dodging was pointless!

He could only defend. Torafuzar's body transformed, taking on a diamond-like crystalline appearance. Acnologia appeared before him and casually thrust his right hand towards Torafuzar, who raised his arms in a defensive stance.

Cracks began to appear on Torafuzar's diamond-like skin as he braced for impact. He was facing Acnologia's next attack.

"Ugh!"

Acnologia's brow furrowed slightly. He hadn't expected Torafuzar's body to be durable. But against the Dragon King, it was ultimately futile.

His right hand transformed into a dragon claw.

Slash! Slash!

Torafuzar's body was raked by Acnologia's claws, leaving deep gashes across his hardened form. He screamed in pain.

Kyôka and Keyes launched their own attacks at Acnologia, but their attacks were simply brushed aside, doing no damage.

They couldn't even slow him down…

Thud!

Finally, Torafuzar couldn't hold on any longer. His Full-Body Hardening shattered, and Acnologia's dragon claw pierced his chest, obliterating his heart. Torafuzar's life force ebbed away, his soul devoured.

In the depths of Tartaros' HQ, in a grand hall, a dark-haired man sat in a chair, holding a book with the letters E.N.D. on the cover.

This was Mard Geer, the true leader of Tartaros, also known as the Underworld King. He possessed the Thorn Curse.

"Five of the Nine Demon Gates are already dead? He's finally here… Acnologia…"

Mard Geer's expression was grim. END was the Fire Demon, and a Dragon Slayer. Therefore, the counter to him was Ice Devil Slayer magic.

That was why he was certain the one who had come was Acnologia, who was both a demon and the Dragon King.

After dealing with Torafuzar, Acnologia set his sights on Keyes, the Necromancer, charging towards him.

Acnologia lunged, his dragon claw aimed at Keyes. But the skeletal mage's body turned to black mist, and Acnologia's attack passed right through him.

"Elemental form, is it?" Keyes said, "Physical attacks are useless against me."

Acnologia, hearing his words, replied, "In that case, energy attacks will work, right?"

"Indeed. As you've guessed, being able to nullify physical attacks means my weakness lies in energy-based attacks. You're quite perceptive, human."

"Boom!"

"Argh!" Keyes let out a cry of pain as he was struck by Acnologia's Black Dragon's Roar.

"Not bad. Being able to devour souls as a demon, and having the physical prowess of a dragon… I look forward to devouring Zeref. Only then can I defeat that 'Demon'"

"…" Acnologia's words left the four surviving demons in bewildered silence. Was there a demon even stronger than this Monster?

Acnologia's gaze turned towards Kyôka, and he charged. Kyôka's fingernails transformed into long, sharp claws, but they were useless against Acnologia, who effortlessly shattered them with his dragon claws.

In the blink of an eye, Acnologia was upon Kyôka, his fist connecting with her midsection.

Kyôka blocked with both arms, but the force of the blow sent her flying. She crashed through the ground, creating a large crater. But she managed to withstand the attack, much to Acnologia's surprise.

"My Curse is Enhancement. Every second, my power grows stronger. Hence, I have unlimited power!" Kyôka explained, looking at Acnologia.

"Unlimited power? How laughable. Not even I would claim to have unlimited power. Even if your power could grow infinitely, does your body have the capacity to contain it?" Acnologia mocked.

Then, she saw it. A boundless, ocean-like magical power gathered in Acnologia's mouth, instantly surpassing the force of any of his previous attacks, even exceeding her own current level. And it was still growing.

Suddenly, a figure appeared, colliding with Acnologia and sending him flying. It was Seilah, who had recovered.

"I will never let you harm Lady Kyôka…" Seilah declared, rushing towards Acnologia, her hands radiating a powerful shockwave.

Thud!

Acnologia reappeared almost instantly before Seilah, his hand piercing her chest. "Again and again…"

"Seilah!"

Kyôka's face contorted in horror as she watched Seilah's body be pierced.

Seilah, a look of contentment on her face, gazed at Kyôka. "Lady Kyôka, I will never let anyone harm you…"

Suddenly, Seilah's body emitted a blinding light. "No one… shall harm..."

Self-destruct?

Acnologia's brow furrowed. He wasn't surprised that these demons of the Book of Zeref could self-destruct. He could do it, too.

He estimated that if he self-destructed, he could probably destroy an entire continent.

As for taking a life, that would be the world itself. Perhaps the God King could even destroy several worlds at once.

BOOM!

An explosion erupted, engulfing Acnologia. The entire island of Tartaros shook. Seilah had bought Kyôka precious time. Her power had grown immensely. She was confident she could hold him off for a while.

The blinding light from the explosion illuminated the landscape. When it subsided, a massive crater remained where Acnologia had stood.

He was still there, standing in the center of the crater, his ragged clothes the only sign that he had been caught in the explosion. Seilah's self-destruction had been powerful, but they were facing the Dragon King, the being that had brought about the end times, the one even their creator, Zeref, feared.

Kyôka, seeing that Acnologia was unharmed, was stunned.

"Self-destruct, huh? If Zeref did that, it might actually hurt me. But he would die, too."

"Now that my goal has changed. I will devour him, so that I can defeat that demon."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

Seilah's self-destruction had bought Kyôka enough time to reach her peak. She was now confident in her power.

"You dared to kill Seilah. Die!!" Kyôka charged at Acnologia, her claws extended, aiming to tear him apart.

As Acnologia and Kyôka fought, the two remaining demons in Hell's Core had recovered.

"What's all that noise outside?"

"Oh no! Big trouble!" A girl with rabbit ears, Lamy, rushed in. They both recognized her.

"What? Is it a Human Guild attack? Or Perhaps Lord Zeref…"

Lamy's face was a mask of terror. "It's just one person. He said he's also a demon, Franmalth, Ezel, Torafuzar, Keyes, Seilah, and Silver are all defeated! Only Lady Kyôka is left!"

"What?!!" Jackal and Tempester were shocked. Jackal grabbed Lamy by the collar.
