Robin knows how arrogant Dr Hogback is and running away is probably humiliation but Robin doesn't find this weird

She knows how much Yoriichi becomes scary when he is fighting, but she is more surprised at the fact that Dr Hogback managed to escape

She remembered how fast Yoriichi speed is when he is serious, he is so fast that normal people like her can't even catch his movements with normal human eyes

She just hoped that Dr Hogback wouldn't appear again in front of them since she didn't like him at all and never wanna cross paths with him again

She was surprised to know that Yoriichi knows about Dr Hogback since she knows how Yoriichi trained on an island that is cut off from the outside world

This is the reason she didn't expect him to know anyone from outside, but Robin came to know that Yoriichi was able to identify Dr. Hogback mainly due to the books he read and those books which were related to medical

She was not surprised by this since she understood despite Dr Hogback's character still he was undoubtedly a prodigy and having his name in some medical books was normal

But Robin was more surprised to know that Yoriichi also possesses medical knowledge making her doubt whether there is anything that Yoriichi can't do

To her, Yoriichi can do everything making him an all-rounder who can do stuff like cooking, fighting, repairing, etc; making her feel kind of useless since the only thing she could do for him to give guidance

Even though she can do another thing that no one else can do and that is to read Ancient texts to know about world history but that thing is totally useless for Yoriichi

Since Robin comes to understand that Yoriichi is more focused on the present and future rather than the past of this world Robin's talent is useless to Yoriichi

Anyway looking at the man who seems to be a mixture of human and beast lying unconscious on the floor with blood on his chest, makes her realise that this man is still breathing

From Yoriichi, she comes to know that this man can become invisible meaning he probably has a devil fruit user and his body is probably modified by Dr. Hogback

Robin agreed considering the fact of what she had seen in that laboratory, she did not doubt that that was the case

"Shall we continue?" Robin asks this question to Yoriichi since staying here anymore won't get them anywhere, not to mention Robin wants to get done with this island-like ship and continue their journey

To her question, Yoriichi nodded his head as he put back his blade into its sheath and started to walk forward meanwhile Robin started to follow him

Meanwhile, Ember peeked out her head as soon danger was gone and saw what was going into the surrounding

"Ara~ you are awake~?" Robin couldn't help but ask this as Ember poked her head out of Robin's chest as she peeks out to see her surroundings

"Phe~" Ember replied to Robin after checking the surroundings, she went back to her place and rest

It's like she was checking whether they are back to ship or not, making Robin confirm that Ember really hates this place

'Well I also don't like this place' Robin couldn't help but say this in her mind as she understood Ember's feelings too since she also hated this place

She can't wait to leave this place and go back to the ship to continue this journey, she never once in her life thought that she would miss crowded places filled with living people

But after staying in a place filled with zombies and undead, she really wanna go into lively places now

After Ember goes back into Robin's clothes, Robin speeds up her pace to keep up with Yoriichi who is going somewhere

...

Deep underground…

"Ahhhh!" Dr Hogback who had fallen for some time after escaping from Yoriichi, finally reached the ground

*THUD!!!*

He finally crushed into very soft cushions on the ground which he prepared for emergency escapes

He might be arrogant and selfish but he is not an idiot, especially after seeing 'Gecko Moria', he comes to understand that there are people who are higher and stronger than him

For that, he in advance prepared many escape routes in this whole place and all escape routes are connected to this place where he just landed

"That low-life bastard!" He couldn't help but say this as he cursed Yoriichi because he never expected that he would need to use escape routes for nobody like him

Mainly because this island-like ship is cut off from outside, that news about Yoriichi didn't reach his ears till now otherwise he would have known that Yoriichi is not nobody

And then he would have taken Yoriichi more seriously, after landing on the soft cushions Dr Hogback remembered Yoriichi and his abnormal strength and speed

"Ouch!" Dr Hogback screamed in pain that even though he was immediately able to escape using the escape route he prepared in advance but somehow still Yoriichi managed to scratch him

He couldn't help but check the small he made on his clothes where he was bleeding now

He couldn't help but imagine what would have happened if he had been a second late in escape, as he probably had been in the same condition as his partner who got struck by Yoriichi before him

Dr Hogback in his heart couldn't help but feel glad in his heart that Yoriichi went first for his partner rather than himself

Otherwise no way he would have reacted and been able to escape without a serious injury

Dr Hogback after getting stable, stands back on his feet and removes his mask which has night vision from his face
