One Piece Solar Rift Conqueror!

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Refining the Solar Rift

Solian stood at the edge of the merchant ship, watching the golden sunlight dance across the rolling waves. The ocean stretched endlessly before him, its surface shimmering like molten gold. He took a deep breath, feeling the warmth coursing through his body. Ever since he'd arrived in this world, his strength had grown, his body had changed, and his power had become something almost otherworldly. But raw strength wasn't enough. If he wanted to control his abilities, he needed to train.

Raising his hand, he focused. A small flicker of flame appeared at his fingertips, burning with a soft golden-orange glow. He poured more energy into it, watching as the color shifted. The flame turned brighter, hotter, until it radiated a brilliant white-gold light. The surrounding air distorted from the sheer heat, shimmering as if he were staring into a desert mirage.

Curious, he lowered his hand toward the wooden deck and let the flame brush against it. Instead of catching fire like normal flames would, the wood charred instantly, darkening as if it had been left under the scorching sun for hours. A faint hissing sound filled the air as the heat seared the surface.

This wasn't just fire—it was concentrated solar energy.

That explained why his flames felt different from normal fire. Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit allowed him to become fire itself, and Akainu's Magma-Magma Fruit burned hotter and more destructively than any normal flame. But Solian's power was something else entirely. His flames didn't just burn—they radiated the heat of the sun, searing instead of igniting.

He grinned. This… this has real potential.

Taking a step back, he focused again. This time, instead of letting the energy run wild, he tried to refine it. A small sphere of golden light formed in his palm, pulsing with raw heat. It was unstable at first, the energy fluctuating wildly, but he tightened his focus. The sphere began to stabilize, its glow intensifying as he compressed the energy.

For a moment, he held it. Then, with a flick of his wrist, he released it forward.

A thin beam of solar energy shot through the air before fizzling out. It was small—barely a controlled attack—but it was progress. If he could refine this further, he could focus his energy into powerful, precise strikes rather than just explosive bursts.

A shout from the crow's nest pulled him from his thoughts.

"Island ahead! Should be there by morning!"

Solian turned, spotting the faint outline of land in the distance. After days at sea, the idea of stepping onto solid ground again was a welcome one. He flexed his fingers, feeling the last traces of heat fade from his skin.

Tomorrow, he would set foot on a new island. Whatever awaited him there, he would be ready.
