Chapter 67: Ch 67.  This is an Order, Communicating with All Things

When Shyarly saw the ten-thousand-meter-long sea dragon appear outside Fishman Island, she collapsed to the ground, her face as pale as snow.

"There's no time to evacuate… Fishman Island is really going to disappear from history this time!"

Shyarly's predictions were known to have a 100% accuracy rate.

No one had ever defied her prophecies—precisely why everyone now felt utterly hopeless.

A sense of despair and fear began to spread throughout the area.

Without hesitation, Roman unleashed a layer of illusion above Fishman Island.

Other than Roman and the few by his side, no one else could see the terrifying sea dragon.

Neptune looked toward Roman, his expression serious. "This is…"

"If ordinary citizens saw this, panic would break out immediately. For now, we must only consider how to resolve this crisis."

The sea dragon exuded an overwhelming aura.

Its scales shimmered with a chilling glint, and its glare alone instilled terror. It was scanning Fishman Island's defenses, seeking a weak point to deliver a fatal strike!

"My predictions have always been 100% accurate. There's no way we can resist the attack of a ten-thousand-meter-long sea dragon!" Shyarly said weakly, pale-faced.

Roman's brows furrowed. He turned toward the collapsed Shyarly and said calmly, "Even if your predictions are 100% accurate, that doesn't matter. With me here, your prediction no longer applies."

The surrounding air grew heavy.

Everyone's expressions turned grim.

No matter how they thought about it, none could figure out a way to resist such a massive sea dragon.

Shyarly and the others were overcome by despair.

Meanwhile, the ordinary citizens in the plaza were celebrating joyfully, thinking the crisis had passed.

They had no idea that just above them, behind the illusion, lurked an unprecedented threat—

A sea king in the form of a ten-thousand-meter-long dragon!

The greatest crisis in Fishman Island's history had quietly arrived.

Just then, Shirahoshi, who had remained silent, suddenly spoke up. "Um… should I try?"

Neptune's expression changed instantly. "Shirahoshi, don't be ridiculous! Do you even know what's happening right now?!"

It was clear that Neptune didn't want Shirahoshi's identity to be exposed.

He didn't mind White Dove—he trusted Roman's character.

But Ain and Stella were different. Neptune didn't know them well, and if they exposed Shirahoshi's true nature, the consequences would be dire.

But Shirahoshi only frowned at her father's words.

"Father, we don't have much time left. Let me try! Things have gotten to this point… even if I'm exposed, it doesn't matter anymore!"

Seeing that Shirahoshi had made up her mind, Neptune opened his mouth but said nothing.

Roman, sensing Shirahoshi's determination, smiled gently.

In this atmosphere of crushing despair, his calm and warm smile stood out.

"Ain, take Stella back to the palace," Roman ordered softly.

Neptune glanced at Roman in surprise but quickly caught on.

He turned to his three sons—Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, and Manboshi—and said, "You three, go with Vice-Admiral Ain."

"But—"

"No buts. This is an order!"

Roman and Neptune were clearly creating the best environment for Shirahoshi.

Ain and Stella didn't understand Roman's reasoning, but they had absolute faith in him.

Without hesitation, they turned and headed toward Ryugu Palace with the princes.

Now, only Roman, Neptune, Shirahoshi, and Shyarly remained.

Shyarly stayed because of her prophecy skills.

Shirahoshi glanced at Roman and Neptune, nodded, and then slowly swam toward the sea dragon.

She didn't get too close but activated her ability to communicate with sea kings, attempting to speak with it.

"Hello…"

"ROAR!!!"

Before she could finish, the sea dragon let out a thunderous roar.

The sound rolled like thunder, dark and menacing.

Even the citizens within the plaza heard the terrifying noise.

"What was that?!"

"That sound is horrifying!"

"Mom, I'm scared~"

Just as panic began to rise, the three princes—Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, and Manboshi—appeared before the people.

"Everyone, don't panic! His Majesty is just playing with some fancy illusions."

"Yes, look at the sky! Isn't it still beautiful and peaceful?"

Hearing this, the citizens began to calm down. Seeing the princes composed, they assumed it wasn't anything serious. Of course, they didn't know the "small trick" in question was a ten-thousand-meter-long sea dragon sea king!

"Shirahoshi, it rejected your communication. For sea kings like this… brute force may be more effective," Roman said calmly.

As if responding to his words, the sea dragon roared at Roman!

"You think I'm weak? How would you know without trying?" Roman replied, using his ability to communicate with all things.

His statement stunned Shirahoshi and Neptune.

Shirahoshi instinctively asked, "Roman… you can talk to sea kings?"

The moment she said it, Neptune's pupils shrank. He was dumbfounded. Wasn't Shirahoshi supposed to be the only one with this ability—the legendary Poseidon? How could another person—especially a human—also speak with sea kings?!

"That's nothing special," Roman replied casually.

At that moment, the sea dragon suddenly lunged at the outer bubble of Fishman Island! The bubble's toughness managed to bounce the sea dragon back slightly—it didn't break immediately.

Clearly, Fishman Island's protective bubble was strong even at this depth.

Still, the sea dragon's aggressive move gave Neptune a crushing sense of pressure. As the king of Fishman Island, he could not allow his kingdom to be destroyed right before his eyes!

Thinking this, Neptune turned to Roman and asked urgently, "Admiral White Dove… do you have some kind of a plan?"

After all, just moments ago, Roman had said—

"This is nothing more than a small problem."
