Chapter 60: Ch 60. Invincible Power, Tempest Kick-White Dove!

In a single instant!

Roman released a terrifying aura from deep within him, akin to Conqueror's Haki.

Hummmmm!!!

A monstrous pressure erupted from his body like a tidal wave, sweeping across the battlefield and crashing into the chaos ahead.

The wind howled!

Dust filled the air of Fishman Island, spiraling in every direction. The sky seemed to collapse beneath the weight of the storm. It was their first time witnessing such a terrifying hurricane.

For a moment, everyone froze. And it still wasn't over.

Roman's aura continued to climb, growing deeper, vaster… like the depths of the sea itself. His Conqueror's Haki surged across the battlefield, tearing into the minds of all those who had stirred up the rebellion.

In less than a second—

Thump—

Thump—

Thump—

One after another, figures began to collapse like dominoes.

Not from pain. Not from injury.

But from the sheer, overwhelming pressure. If someone hadn't known better, they might have thought a massacre had taken place. The ground was littered with motionless bodies—over ten thousand of them.

The air turned still. Unnervingly silent.

Over ten thousand slaves and several thousand fishmen, all rendered unconscious by Roman's overwhelming Haki. Not one left standing.

Among all the fallen, only Hody Jones remained conscious. Likely due to the Energy Steroid (E.S.) drugs still coursing through his veins. His eyes flickered with confusion as he turned to take in the surreal scene. His heart trembled.

'This… this is the power of an Admiral? This is insane…!'

His face contorted.

Then he clenched his fists.

'So what if he's strong? He's still just a human!'

'And in addition, I still have my trump card!'

With that thought, Hody reached into his pouch and pulled out handfuls of E.S. drugs.

Over three hundred pills in total!

Like a madman, he swallowed them by the dozen—one handful after another.

Meanwhile, Neptune arrived, ministers in tow—late, but not too late.

When they saw the field of collapsed soldiers and fishmen, their jaws dropped in shock.

But even more horrifying was what they saw in Hody's hands.

"White Dove! That's the E.S. drug, a substance that grants temporary strength at the cost of one's life! If he survives ingesting that many… he'll become…"

"I know," Roman interrupted calmly. "Leave him to me. You go tend to Jinbe and Fisher Tiger. Their injuries are severe—any more delay and it'll be too late."

"Yes! I'll handle it immediately!"

Roman's eyes shifted to Hody Jones.

The drug had transformed him.

His entire body had doubled in size, grotesquely swollen.

His skin had stretched so thin it looked translucent, revealing blood vessels and even the rapid beating of his heart.

It was monstrous—repulsive.

But despite the warped transformation, Hody's durability had skyrocketed.

Feeling the explosive power surging through him, Hody burst into laughter.

"Jahahahaha! Look at me! This is power!"

"Unstoppable power! No one can stand in my way—the way of Hody Jones!!!"

But Roman only looked at him and said coldly:

"Done talking? Then I'll begin."

Hody, despite being drugged up, still had enough sense to realize he couldn't let Roman move first.

With a snarl, he charged—his near four-meter-tall body thundering across the battlefield like a mountain in motion!

But compared to Weevil, also known as Whitebeard junior, whom Roman had defeated earlier…

Hody was pathetic.

Roman sighed softly. "Your vision… is still far too small."

"The Grand Line isn't as simple as you think."

With that—Roman activated his Observation Haki at its peak.

He saw everything. Every breath, every twitch. Roman immediately predicted Hody's attack trajectory.

Hody's charge was a joke.

With a slight tilt of his head, Roman dodged effortlessly.

"Marine Six Styles—Paper Art(Kami-e)."

Roman's body turned light as a feather, drifting on the wind like a sheet of paper.

None of Hody's wild punches landed.

In fact, the harder Hody swung, the more desperate he became.

His strength and speed were at their absolute limit, throwing hundreds of punches per second.

But not one touched Roman.

"Useless," Roman said calmly. "I've already seen your next move."

"So you can predict it, huh? Then what if…" Hody gritted his teeth, backing away. "What if I become so fast, you can't dodge even if you predict it?!"

Without hesitation, he began devouring even more of the drugs, madness in his eyes.

He tossed caution—and his life—aside.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

"It hurts! It hurts so much!"

"But this… THIS IS POWER!!!"

"JAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU'RE FINISHED, ADMIRAL WHITE DOVE! NOW I'M STRONGER THAN EVER!"

True, the overdose pushed his body beyond its limits.

But it also gave him one last surge of confidence.

Roman, however, remained unmoved.

"Is that so? Then try taking this one hit—and then you can talk."

With that, Roman leapt into the air.

"Tempest Kick—White Dove!"

A technique born from Roman's own name—his signature move.

The moment his leg swung—

The air compressed into the shape of a pure white dove, majestic and gleaming.

As it took flight, its wings flared.

And the speed exploded.

Hody's eyes went wide.

He had taken so many drugs—yet he still couldn't track it!

It was too fast. Too refined. His eyes and brain simply couldn't keep up.

The sharp edge of the Tempest Kick engulfed his entire body.

Every cell in Hody's body, bloated with drug energy, screamed under the pressure.

And then—

BOOM.

The dove unfolded its wings and exploded.

"Ssshhhrriiiip!!"

Hody Jones's body was split clean in half.

He could still feel it.

He stared at his bisected form in disbelief.

Terror.

Shock.

But… irreversible.

It was over in an instant.

Too fast. Too absolute. It had already surpassed what Hody could react to.

Then—darkness.

His brain shut down, consumed by silence.

His body, with its blood flow severed, began to wither.

The drug-laced form rapidly deflated into a shriveled husk.

All that monstrous power, reduced to a pathetic, shriveled old man.

Roman landed softly, glancing at the remains.

"Tsk tsk… This is what happens when you rely on power-enhancing drugs. Pathetic."

And everyone who witnessed the scene—

Stood there, frozen in absolute silence.
