One piece: Pirate hunter system

Chapter 24: Chapter 24

After entering the world of One Piece, Rogu was determined to become a pirate hunter. And by this time, he had already formed a clear plan in his head. Judging from the system he received and the timeline of meeting Alvida, the list of targets he made is actually quite simple.

There are several pirates in the East Blue that he must capture. The first on the list is Captain Kuro of Syrup Village. His reward is sixteen million beli!

Second comes the admiral of the pirate fleet Don Krieg. His head is valued at seventeen million. And finally, third comes Arlong, the tyrant who seized power in Cocoyasi Village, Nami's home village. The bounty on his head is a whopping twenty million beli, making him the most valuable pirate in all of East Blue.

Why did these three make the list? The main reason is simple: according to the original story, they have almost no potential for growth.

Captain Kuro, for example, hated the pirate life. By faking his death, he hatched a primitive plot to become a respectable rich man. So, to be honest, he can hardly be called a real pirate anymore, and is more like a common rogue and bandit. Besides, Luffy defeated him, and that was the end of his story.

As for Don Krieg, his fate is even sadder. He was pursued by Mihawk throughout the Grand Line, which is why his entire "great" expedition to this territory lasted only seven days. As for his return to the East Blue, he encountered Luffy on the floating restaurant Baratie, and the end of this encounter is obvious.

And finally, Arlong. The fishman who terrorized Cocoyasi, who has long since lost interest in greater goals. His only desire is to be the king of a small territory. Leaving him alive means continuing to harm people. Capturing him is not only a good thing for everyone, but also a way for Rogu to strengthen his position. So why not?

As for the other pirates he met along the way, even if they weren't on his list, he was going to catch them.

However, there are exceptions, and those who have not yet reached their full potential, Rogu was not going to touch. Like Usopp from Syrup Village. Later, his reward will reach as much as two hundred million beli! And now... no one will even give him five thousand. Therefore, it is safe to say that he is still "green", like a freshly picked fruit. The same goes for Luffy.

And what about Buggy? Although his bounty already stands at fifteen million beli, he is still far from what he will become after escaping Impel Down. After all, he will become a much more formidable opponent in the future. And although his subsequent successes can be called a series of coincidences, his future is promising enough that Rogu should not rush to capture him.

And yet fate loves surprises. This time, having landed on the first island he came across, Rogu found himself... in Orange Town!

What? Just got ashore, realized it was Orange Town, and just hearing about the "great" Buggy, the pirate hunter Norlos Rogu decided to turn around and run away?

This won't do!

Rogu may not be famous now. But he will definitely be famous in the future. And if this event becomes public knowledge, won't that add even more fame to Buggy?

This development of events is completely unacceptable!

"After all, this guy only started ruling after escaping from Impel Down. Catching him now would only speed things up, right? Although... what about his fateful connection with Luffy?" Rogu thought, rubbing his chin. Remembering the scenes from the original where Buggy almost decapitated Luffy in Loguetown, he shook his head. "What does it matter? To hell with the plot, what do I care?"

Once in this world, Rogu decided to use the original story only as a reference. After all, if you let the plot shackle your actions, it will be too boring.

The most important thing is that since Rogu is here, many things will inevitably change. Unless, of course, he is killed prematurely...

Leaning against the wall, Rogu sat down and let his thoughts flow, patiently awaiting further developments. He decided not to bother himself with unnecessary troubles. Since it was clear that this was Orange Town, he also knew the reasons why there was no one here.

Buggy's pirate crew has captured the city. The residents, afraid of the pirates, have all fled. It seems that only one person remains here - the mayor, who decided to challenge Buggy. However, where he got such courage from remains a mystery.

Now, having seen his ship, Buggy's pirates sent Kabaji "to his death". And now that Kabaji has "fallen", the rest of us will definitely not sit quietly and wait for what will happen next.

In other words, the "rewards" will soon line up to be caught... or, let's say, they will gather to participate in their own capture.

"Excellent," Rogu nodded with a satisfied smile.

Time passed, minute by minute, until suddenly his field of vision was filled with familiar lines of text...

Rogu could see these lines through walls, streets and barriers. Some were running through alleys, some were jumping on roofs, and some were dividing into groups to go around him and cut off his escape routes.

"You are so sweet, my little money," with these words Rogu rose to his feet and brushed off his pants. And then he noticed that Kabaji had woken up and was looking at him angrily.

"You pathetic bastard!" Kabaji exclaimed.

Rogu thought for a second, then put his finger to his lips, gesturing for him to be quieter.

Kabaji grinned coldly. "I, a proud pirate, will never bow down to some bounty hunter!"

Gathering his strength, he wanted to shout, to threaten Rogu, thinking his words through in advance. But before he could open his mouth, an iron mace fell upon him. And in the last moments before losing consciousness, a clear thought flashed through his mind: - So this is what it means to be quieter...

Shadows covered everything around them, and two steel sabers swung downwards. The battle began in complete silence. Rogu's mace flew through the air, and eventually the two pirates fell to the ground like broken dolls.

Suddenly, a beastly roar was heard. Rogu turned around and saw a lion-like creature with scarlet eyes rushing straight towards him.

"It looks like I'm in for an extra treat this evening!" Rogu said happily, before easily knocking the lion off his feet with a blow from his mace.

"Richie!!!" the man in the strange clothes shouted when he saw the lion being thrown to the ground. Then he looked at Roga and exclaimed: "What have you done to Richie?!"

Rogu answered him with his signature phrase: "Cold Moon: First Form!"

Rogu always believed that his Moon Heart style was extremely logical. For example, the Arc Moon: Third Form technique involves three strikes. Mad Moon: One Hundred and Thirty-First Form is one hundred and thirty-one strikes that can be used cyclically. And Cold Moon: First Form is only one strike.

True, now this blow became a blow of a mace. And it was so strong that the man with the bear ears on his hat fell to the ground, bleeding like a broken vessel.

Then the familiar chains appeared, and Rogu, waving them, completely confused this strange man, and at the same time the lion named Richie...
