One Piece: My Crew Members Are Legendary 3D Heroines

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: The Blooming of a Sunlit Flower

The night before their official departure, the village hosted a grand banquet to wish Ethan Chen and 2B a safe and smooth voyage.

The villagers' warmth was well-deserved. For heroes who had saved their home, they offered their gratitude without hesitation.

Under waves of toasts and blessings, even Ethan who normally avoided alcohol found himself downing a few cups.

The festivities stretched late into the night.

The next morning, with the entire village gathered at the shore, Ethan and 2B set sail. Waving goodbye to the place they'd lived in for nearly a month, they began a journey that, most likely, would never lead them back.

The sails snapped proudly in the wind beneath a boundless blue sky. Even the ocean currents flowed in their favor it was, quite literally, smooth sailing.

As captain, Ethan stood high atop the mast's crow's nest, letting the sea breeze wash over him. The thrill of open waters stirred a heady sense of anticipation in his chest.

Their destination was the Windbell Archipelago, and specifically, Orange Town.

Although they had technically completed their departure mission, the system wouldn't issue a reward or initiate the crew recruitment lottery until they reached a designated town.

There were other nearby settlements, like Shells Town and the 16th Marine Branch, but given this sea zone was under Colonel Nezumi's control and frequently haunted by the Arlong Pirates, it wasn't wise to linger.

They were too few in number to risk a direct confrontation with Arlong's crew.

It wasn't fear of being ambushed that worried Ethan, but the risk of their ship being destroyed before they even reached the Grand Line.

Better to circle the East Blue a bit, gather some crewmates if possible, and prepare for what lay ahead.

After a while, Ethan descended from the mast and walked to the upper deck where the helm was located. The auxiliary bot was stationed at the wheel, deftly managing the ship's course.

In a way, it was like having a futuristic AI autopilot, far beyond the current era.

2B was also there, clad in a long black slit dress with puffed sleeves, exuding her usual cool and elegant air.

But the moment she saw Ethan approach, that icy aura melted away like spring snow. Her lips curved into a faint smile.

"Let's head back to the cabin and rest for a bit," Ethan suggested. "The bot can handle steering and lookout for now."

"Alright." 2B reached out and gently patted the smooth, polished dome of the auxiliary bot. "We'll leave it to you. Alert us if anything comes up."

"Understood."

They returned to the captain's quarters at the rear of the ship. No sooner had they closed the door than Ethan pulled 2B close, kissing her deeply.

Long sea voyages were bound to be monotonous. There weren't many ways to pass the time.

Fishing, playing cards, reading those were the usual options.

They also had a fitness room on board, complete with equipment custom-made by local craftsmen: butterfly machines, resistance trainers, and a stationary bike.

But compared to all that, Ethan preferred to spend his time doing something more personal with 2B. Something they both enjoyed.

Their clothes slipped away, and the pair tumbled into bed. With a playful smack, Ethan tapped the curve of her lower back. Understanding his unspoken wish, 2B turned over and raised her hips, her silhouette forming a perfect arch graceful, supple, and inviting.

Ethan traced his fingers along her smooth contours, noticing a subtle change. Was it his imagination, or had her body become even softer, fuller over the past month?

The auxiliary bot had once said that 2B, being artificial, wasn't capable of physical growth. Yet, its own sensors now showed otherwise shifts in her proportions that defied logic.

Even the bot couldn't explain the changes.

But Ethan didn't need a reason. To him, it was simply a blessing.

He leaned in closer, exchanging warmth and rhythm with her. Their connection grew deeper not just physically, but through an intimacy born of trust, discovery, and a shared journey.

Though 2B's model wasn't designed for certain experiences, her body adapted. And more importantly, so did her heart.

With every movement, every gentle touch, the boundary between machine and human blurred a little more.

After their passion had subsided, Ethan lay unmoving, basking in the afterglow with 2B in his arms, both of them glistening with sweat.

2B was just as breathless. What they had shared was overwhelming, in the best way.

After a long moment, she finally sat up and asked, "It's noon. Are you hungry? I'll go get us something."

They'd stocked up on rations before setting sail: dried fish, bread, canned meats, jams, and other easy-to-eat supplies.

"Just bring me some bread and a can of meat," Ethan replied. He was craving something warm, like pasta with meat sauce, but given that 2B had little cooking experience and he wasn't about to move dry rations would have to do.

"Alright." 2B wiped them both down with a towel, then dressed and headed out of the cabin.

Ethan waited. But instead of the soft sound of her footsteps returning with food, he was met by something else.

The sharp, piercing alarm of the auxiliary bot echoed through the cabin.

An unexpected warning. Something was coming.

Something that would shatter the peace of their voyage.
