One Piece: My Crew Members Are Legendary 3D Heroines

Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Beating Down Captain Nezumi

After one last morning of intimacy with Ethan Chen, Hina finally set sail from the small island, heading for the Grand Line.

That had been her destination all along. She had only stopped by because of an urgent call from the village to the Navy. Since it fell within her route, she decided to investigate personally.

Technically, this area fell under the jurisdiction of Captain Nezumi, but given the circumstances an island ravaged by pirates, with the villagers on the brink of annihilation there was little point in caring about protocol.

Her stay should have lasted no more than two days: treat the wounded, help rebuild damaged structures, and sweep the island to root out any remaining pirates.

But because of Ethan Chen, she had lingered another full day.

She couldn't bear to part from the sweetness she had only discovered after thirty years of life a taste she would remember for the rest of her days.

Yet now, she could no longer delay. On the morning of the fourth day, her warship raised anchor and sailed away, leaving behind the little island that had given her so much to remember.

Ethan stood at the shoreline, watching Hina's warship disappear over the horizon. Then he looked down at what he held in his hands:

A briefcase containing 36 million Beli.

A certified bounty hunter license that allowed him to sail freely.

A Den Den Mushi that could connect directly to the Navy communication channel.

And a Vivre Card bearing Hina's contact details.

A generous reward, well-earned for his… diligent labor these past few days.

When he reached the Grand Line, he would have to properly thank her again.

He tucked the license, the Den Den Mushi, and the Vivre Card safely away, grabbed the briefcase, and turned to 2B. "Let's head into town," he said. "I need some new clothes."

Ever since the night before last when Hina had enthusiastically torn his only outfit to shreds he had been wearing a borrowed Navy uniform. Now that she was gone, continuing to wear it felt inappropriate.

2B still wore the combat attire she had arrived in. It was her only set of clothing.

They made their way to the village's only clothing shop. The garments were simple, but not ugly.

Ethan picked out a few practical outfits for 2B. Frilled blouses with puffed sleeves and plain long skirts transformed her from a cold, battle-hardened warrior into a cold, medieval village girl.

For himself, he chose a loose-collared tunic paired with rugged trousers a traveling ranger's outfit.

He also picked out some shoes. Without hesitation, he chose leather. The shoes here were made of genuine leather and were breathable unlike boots, which could suffocate your feet after a full day of wear.

2B had no such concerns. As an android, her heat dissipation system worked differently. She was also used to fighting in high-heeled boots.

The shopkeeper, an elderly woman, tried to wave off Ethan's payment. But he insisted, taking out Beli from his case and placing it on the counter.

He wasn't the same man who had arrived with nothing. He could no longer justify taking advantage of these villagers.

The warship they were building on his behalf was more than enough to repay their kindness. There was no need to be greedy.

He also bought a rucksack to carry the new clothes and shoes, then returned with 2B to their inn.

Life settled into a quiet rhythm.

While waiting for the ship to be completed, Ethan and 2B spent their days either training, sunbathing on the beach, learning navigation from the local fishermen, practicing how to operate a sailboat, or improving their swimming skills in preparation for the voyage ahead.

Nights, on the other hand, were spent wrapped up in each other.

2B welcomed the intimacy. Whenever Ethan reached for her, she never refused sometimes she even took the initiative.

So the days slipped by, one after the next.

A week later, Ethan received a call from Hina. She had arrived at a Marine branch base in the Grand Line and was taking some time to resupply and rest.

They chatted casually for a few minutes, but as soon as the call ended, someone knocked urgently at their door.

"Young man, you'd better pack up and leave! The Navy's here! They're looking for someone!"

Ethan and 2B exchanged a glance.

The Navy?

Peering downstairs, they saw the inn surrounded by a squad of Marines with rifles. Clearly, leaving wasn't an option anymore.

"Let's go see what this is about," Ethan said calmly. He quickly gathered his belongings, secured the money, and descended with 2B at his side.

The officer leading the group stood with his hands clasped behind his back. He had a wiry build, a pointed face, and a few long, rat-like whiskers sprouting from his upper lip. His expression was mean-spirited and calculating.

2B's posture shifted subtly. She could tell immediately these Marines were not with Hina. She silently prepared for a possible fight.

"I'm Captain Nezumi, Sixteenth Branch of the Navy," the man announced with a sneer. "I received a report of pirates hiding in this village, eating and sleeping here without paying. You, young man do you know where they are?"

Captain Nezumi?

Ethan narrowed his eyes.

He knew that name. A man notorious for colluding with pirates, exploiting civilians, and tarnishing the Navy's reputation.

Without hesitation, Ethan pulled out his bounty hunter license and tossed it over.

"Pirates? I have no idea. Maybe ask the village chief. I'm just a passing bounty hunter."

"A bounty hunter?" Nezumi caught the license and glanced at it. His face twisted in outrage. "How dare you! A pirate dares to forge a Navy document? Arrest him!"

"You dare."

Before he could finish, the cold gleam of a blade stopped inches from Nezumi's throat. Even restrained, the pressure from the strike had sliced his skin, and a thin line of blood trickled down his neck.

2B had drawn her sword with inhuman speed.

Had she unleashed her full strength, Nezumi's head would already be rolling on the ground.

The surrounding Marines froze in terror. Even Nezumi broke out in goosebumps, clutching his neck in shock, stammering:

"You… You dare draw a weapon on me? I'm a Navy captain…"

"And what if you are?" Ethan stepped forward, retrieving his license from Nezumi's trembling hand. He gave the man a casual slap on the cheek. "If I kill you, then you're dead. What, you gonna bite me for it?"

"The Navy… the Navy won't let you get away with this…"

Ethan snorted. "And? If the Navy kills me someday, will that bring you back to life? Don't overestimate your worth. You're nothing."

With that, he raised his fist and punched Nezumi squarely in the face.

The blow sent him flying several meters. Teeth clattered to the ground as he landed in a heap.

The surrounding Marines gulped nervously but still didn't move. The aura radiating from 2B pinned them in place. None even dared raise a weapon.

"You're this weak, yet you made it to captain? Let me guess was it through stealing credit, framing others, or straight-up bribery?"

Ethan crouched in front of the terrified man, pulled out his Den Den Mushi, and dialed a number.

Hina answered immediately. "Ethan? We just hung up. Something wrong?"

"Nothing major," Ethan said, glancing at Nezumi's quivering figure. "Just ran into a Marine captain accusing me of being a pirate. Said the license you gave me was fake."
