One Piece: Marine's Justice

Chapter 53: Gladiator Fiend, Oli Baka

"What is that?"

"No way, that's the Jolly Roger of the Impaler Pirates!"

"What the hell are they planning?!"

A sudden flare shot into the sky, drawing the attention of Cross, Feli, and the others. Several CP agents immediately reached into their coats and pulled out compact, short-barreled pistols.

Bel von Gero, his expression calm and unhurried, spoke in a low voice, "It seems my subordinates saw me captured… and are ready to make their move."

"What are they trying to pull?" Cross turned to him sharply, eyes narrowed. His voice brimmed with fury. "You've got one last chance, talk, or people will die!"

Bel von Gero spoke softly, almost lazily. "Let me go… or this city will be soaked in blood."

"In your dreams!"

Before Cross could answer, Feli cut him off coldly. "Bel von Gero, give up the delusion. We are not letting you go."

"If anyone in this city dies because of you," Cross added, his face darkening, hand tightening around the hilt of Kagehide, "I swear I'll take your damn head myself."

Feli glanced at Cross with a heavy look, then raised a hand and ordered, "Take him away."

BOOM—

Before the order could be carried out, just as Elmo moved to secure Bel von Gero from between two reanimated stone knights, an explosion rocked the nearby wall.

The blast hurled a storm of shattered stone through the air, striking several CP agents and sending them crashing to the ground.

A powerful shockwave followed, stirring up a thick cloud of dust that engulfed the entire street.

"Wugagaga~ What a mess, Gero!"

A massive silhouette emerged from the smoke, its presence brimming with manic laughter and an overwhelming, violent aura. A huge, muscular, fur-covered hand shot through the haze, aiming straight for Elmo.

"Who—!?"

Elmo's expression tightened. In a flash, he raised his hand and unleashed a Shigan, his extended finger shooting forward like a bullet to intercept the attack.

SLAP!

But the next moment, his wrist was caught cleanly in the intruder's massive grip, and without hesitation, the hand swung him around and hurled him through the air.

"NANI?!"

Elmo felt an unstoppable force wrenching his body off the ground. He had no time to resist before he was flung like a cannonball across the street, crashing through the wall of a building.

BOOM!

The structure collapsed with a thunderous roar, burying Elmo beneath a storm of rubble and dust.

Meanwhile, the two stone knights still holding Bel von Gero quickly retreated, trying to evade the encroaching danger.

But the monstrous shadow in the smoke was charging straight for them.

Two huge, muscular hands shot out and clamped down on the stone knights. With a vicious squeeze, the beings made of solid stone were crushed like clay.

"Damn it!" Gadriel roared in alarm, raising his hammer and swinging it down at Bel von Gero's shoulder without hesitation. If he couldn't kill him, severely injuring the target was the next best thing. Escape was not an option.

THUD—

The hammer slammed down, but instead of bone or armor, it struck a thick, fur-covered arm.

It barely made a sound.

The weapon bounced off taut muscle, and the rebound nearly wrenched the weapon from Gadriel's grip.

"You've gotta be kidding me…"

Staggering back two steps, Gadriel stared in shock.

Then, from the smoke, the towering figure laughed again, this time with clear mockery. "Wugagaga! That tickled. You call that strength? I've had massages rougher than that!"

Without another word, the thick arm clenched into a fist and shot forward like lightning. The resulting gust blew away the surrounding dust as it rocketed toward Gadriel.

"Tekkai!"

Gadriel shouted, his muscles tightening in an instant. A faint shimmer passed over his skin—

WHAM!

The massive, stone-crushing fist smashed into him.

A visible shockwave erupted outward. Gadriel's eyes rolled back. Blood sprayed from his mouth. He shot backward like a missile.

WHOOSH!

CRASH!

He flew across the street and slammed into another building, blowing the entire structure apart.

"Gadriel!" Feli shouted, horrified.

As the dust began to settle, everyone could finally see who had caused the destruction.

Standing beside Bel von Gero was a towering man, well over four meters tall. His bare upper body bulged with explosive muscle, a red pair of pants clinging to his waist, a golden gladiator's champion belt shining at his hips. He radiated pure bloodlust, his presence like a tidal wave threatening to drown the street.

"Gladiator Fiend, Oli Baka!!!"

Feli's voice cracked in a mixture of disbelief and dread as he called the intruder's name.

"Wugagaga~"

Baka gave Gero a heavy slap on the shoulder, his voice deep and hoarse. "Still on time, right, Gero?"

"…Thanks," Bel von Gero muttered grudgingly, producing a thin strand of wire and slipping it into the lock of his Seastone cuffs.

Baka beamed, clearly delighted. "Well damn! Didn't expect to hear you say thanks! Wugagaga~"

Suddenly, a crash erupted from the ruined building across the street. Wood beams and stone chunks were thrown into the air, and from the rubble, Elmo rose, bloodied and enraged.

"You damned pirate…!"

His voice was low and furious. His body began to swell, his head elongating, brown fur spreading across his skin. His hands and feet shifted into horse-like hooves.

"Oh? A Zoan user?" Baka's grin widened, intrigued.

"If I'm not mistaken," Bel von Gero remarked calmly, glancing up, "Zoan-type: Uma Uma no Mi, Horse Model."

"DIE!!!"

Now in hybrid form, Elmo grit his teeth and launched himself into the air using Geppo, delivering a ferocious downward kick that sliced the air in a razor-sharp arc.

BOOM—

Baka grabbed Gero and leapt aside just in time. The attack struck where they had just stood, carving a deep fissure several meters long into the street.

"Rokushiki, huh…? Not that impressive," Baka sneered.

Then, he leapt into the air like a cannonball.

Before Elmo could react, Baka was in front of him.

"NANI?!"

"Get down here!"

Baka grabbed Elmo's right arm and hurled him straight down toward the street.

WHISTLE—

BOOM—

Elmo smashed into the ground like a meteor, carving out a massive crater on impact. Shockwaves burst outward, blasting dust and debris high into the sky.

"This… this can't be real…"

Feli stared, jaw slack, as Elmo's body lay broken in the crater, half-buried in rubble. His Zoan transformation was fading, body reverting to human form, eyes rolling back.

Two of CP9's top agents, flattened in minutes.

Was this some kind of sick joke?

Or had they just crossed paths with a monster?
