One Piece: Lord of Calamity

Chapter 34: Chapter 34: North Blue! And the Angry Boy

"Honestly, Lord Roa," Stussy said, her eyes full of resentment on the island's coast. "You made a mess of my place, and now you're just going to pack up and leave?"

Roa turned back to look at the aggrieved woman, his face stern. "Why are you so serious with a child like me? I'm so young, just messing around."

The illegally mature Stussy's expression didn't change. "Big Brother Roa, I'm even younger."

"You're different." Roa reached out to stroke her stunning, almost magnificent face. He had to admit, Old Man Whitebeard's ability to keep his urges in check was truly something. "Just looking at that face, little sister Stussy, you could be my mother!"

Not only was she stunning, but the tenderness and inclusiveness Stussy showed before Roa were practically overflowing with maternal warmth. The students of 'Va' would be blessed.

"That's not out of the question," Stussy said with a smile. "Lord Roa is an orphan, right? Do you need a mother's warm embrace?"

"Are you trying to make me lose my invincibility, Stussy, you scoundrel!" Roa wore a triumphant expression, as if he saw through everything. "Absolutely impossible! I, Roa, have been invincible since the day I was born into this world!"

Invincible? Stussy couldn't help but sigh in her heart. He was truly terrifying, Big Brother Roa.

"Anyway, if I don't contact you, just pretend this never happened." Roa patted Stussy's shoulder. "Take good care of yourself, little sister Stussy. It would be such a pity if such a magnificent face were to get any flaws, wouldn't it?"

"I will protect this face well for you, Big Brother Roa," Stussy replied obediently.

"Good girl." Roa gave Stussy's head one last rub before boarding the ship and departing. The next destination was the North Blue.

Stussy stood on the coastline, gazing after the ship as it sailed away. The stunning woman maintained a smile the entire time, occasionally waving goodbye. It wasn't until the ship completely vanished beyond the horizon that she finally let out a sigh of relief, swaying and almost falling to the ground. Her fair, smooth, flawless face was now covered in cold sweat, and her back was completely soaked. Dealing with a monster like him, she had thought countless times that he would crush her head!

"Doctor, what... what should I do?"

On the gradually departing ship.

Roa had learned his lesson this time, capturing some notoriously evil pirates from Stussy's island, which he considered a contribution to world peace. Of course, he could also enjoy some extra meals.

"Lord Roa, is that woman alone enough?" Dylan asked calmly.

Roa knew he was referring to the intelligence system. Since he decided to establish a war company, an intelligence system was naturally essential. Otherwise, how could he accurately grasp war dynamics worldwide?

"For now, this will have to do," Roa said casually with a yawn. "After all, we're short on manpower."

While their combat power was absolutely sufficient, he couldn't exactly rely on unconscious ghosts to gather intelligence, could he?

"My apologies, Lord Roa," Dylan said, blaming himself. "I was too negligent these past six years and never considered this aspect." Looking back, he realized he had done almost nothing during their six years in the Land of Endless War. Most of his time was spent handling miscellaneous tasks for Lord Roa, or experimenting with advanced Haki training as instructed by Lord Roa.

"No need to rush," Roa said lazily with a yawn. "Isn't this just the beginning?"

First, find Judge; everything else would fall into place.

The North Blue bordered the New World, separated only by a narrow Calm Belt. So, by simply heading north, they could smoothly reach the North Blue. Six years later, Roa once again traversed the Calm Belt.

Six years ago, when returning from the West Blue to the New World via the Calm Belt, it was quite troublesome, with Sea Kings constantly attacking as if possessed, giving Tiger Soul a good feast. This time, it was much easier.

Roa released his Observation Haki, and upon sensing the Sea Kings approaching, he unleashed his Conqueror's Haki, scaring away all these giant beasts with human-like intelligence from afar.

They arrived in the North Blue smoothly. However, what Roa hadn't anticipated was that the New World and the Calm Belt hadn't given him any trouble; instead, the much calmer North Blue gave him a rude awakening.

"So," Roa stood by the ship's rail, gazing at the calm sea. Unlike the New World, where the weather could change drastically at any moment, the North Blue's weather was excessively regular.

The young Roa turned back, a little confused. "We're lost?" They had been sailing in the North Blue for several days now; they should have reached an island long ago, but ahead was only an endless sea.

Dylan's usually unperturbed face was now a little flushed. "My apologies, Lord Roa, I forgot that I've never been to the Four Seas and am not skilled in using a compass and sea charts for navigation." He was an impromptu navigator, born in the Grand Line, so the Four Seas were completely unfamiliar to him.

"Don't let there be a next time, Dylan," Roa said.

"Yes, Lord Roa! There will absolutely not be a next time!" Dylan felt an unparalleled sense of shame. His only reason for following Lord Roa was his ability to handle various matters for him. This blunder pained him.

"Well then, let me take a look." Roa transformed into a fierce tiger and soared into the sky. Flying very high, he looked down and finally spotted an island nearby.

Soon after, the ship docked on the island's coast. Dylan hurried off with some men to find a navigator and resupply. Seizing this opportunity, Roa also went ashore with Bullet. Since they were already here, there was no harm in exploring.

Walking along the city's relatively clean streets, Roa took a deep breath. "Non-affiliated countries are so much better." Even in a seemingly well-developed non-affiliated country like this, there was still a significant amount of black energy permeating it.

Bullet quietly followed behind Roa, his sharp gaze sweeping over anyone who approached Roa. Suddenly, at a crossroads, Roa stopped. He turned his head in surprise, looking towards the end of a side street.

"Lord Roa?" Bullet was a little puzzled. "Is there something over there?"

"I see it. Anger like a volcano! Resentment like a tsunami!" Roa curved his lips, as if it would be very interesting.

The end of the street was a garbage heap. Two small figures, completely wrapped in tattered cloaks, were rummaging through the garbage heap with their heads bowed.

"Brother, is it... is it really okay? What if we get found out...?" The voice of the smaller figure trembled with fear.

"Rosinante! Do you want to starve to death?" The slightly older figure turned around, revealing a bruised and swollen face from beneath the cloak. A small pair of glasses sat on his nose, and his small face bore a vicious, savage look like an evil spirit. "Mom is already dead. Do you want to die too?"

"...Brother!" The younger brother was startled by his brother's appearance and fell back into the garbage heap. His brother, however, paid no attention to his reaction. He simply clenched his fists. "I want to live! I must live! One day, I will destroy everything!"

"A very good dream, I genuinely hear it." An interested voice came from the side.

The two brothers instinctively turned their heads. Upon seeing the elegantly dressed young man in front of them, fear simultaneously appeared on their faces, even on the one who had just spoken so boldly.

Roa looked at the two miserable brothers, focusing mainly on the little one with the sunglasses. "Nice to meet you for the first time, angry boy. It seems fate has guided me to you."

"Are you ready to embrace your destiny?"
