Arthur offered a faint smile. "And where is this little kid now?"

"My deepest apologies... He vanished a long time ago!" Constance was deeply ashamed.

"If he's vanished, then don't worry about him. Let's go back." Arthur swirled his greatcoat and strode toward the temple.

Constance and the God's Army followed close behind.

Skypiea, the place where his dream began. He wanted to stay for a few more days, so he was in no rush to head to the New World.

Three days later.

After handling a few minor affairs, Arthur summoned all the soldiers of the God's Army to the front of the temple.

If he wanted to establish a main base on the seas, there was no place more suitable for him than Skypiea or Raijin Island.

But Raijin Island was far too dangerous, utterly devoid of people. Skypiea, on the other hand, had a steady supply of talent that could be trained into an army to defend his rear.

Arthur had summoned the God's Army for one purpose—to train them!

For his personal army, the soldiers of the God's Army were pathetically weak. Arthur was confident he could knock them all out with a single burst of his Conqueror's Haki.

Improving their strength was an absolute necessity.

—————————

On the grand plaza before the temple.

"Haki—is a power that lies dormant in every single person in this world." Arthur took the time to educate them on the basics of Haki.

"This power is an innate ability, just like concepts of presence or intimidation. It exists like an instinct. However, the vast majority of people never realize they possess this power, or they go their entire lives unable to wield it."

"Haki is divided into three types: Conqueror's Haki, Observation Haki, and Armament Haki!"

"You should all have some experience with Conqueror's Haki. The force that knocked all of you unconscious when I first came to Skypiea over a year ago—that was Conqueror's Haki!"

"And what you will begin training today are Armament Haki and Observation Haki!" Arthur's body levitated into mid-air, his greatcoat whipping in the wind, his sharp gaze sweeping over every single soldier.

"Observation Haki greatly sharpens the five senses, allowing one to perceive the presence and emotional shifts of surrounding creatures. It can also be used to foresee and evade danger."

"As long as a creature is alive, its body emits a unique aura. Observation Haki can use these auras to predict an opponent's next move and position. With training, its range can be expanded."

After explaining Observation Haki, Arthur immediately moved on to Armament.

"Armament Haki is a power that comes from within the body, like an invisible suit of armor!"

His voice echoed across the temple plaza, clearly reaching the ears of every soldier in the God's Army.

The days passed, one after another. In the blink of an eye, more than a month had gone by.

—————————

The vast, boundless sea could calm any storm.

After more than a month, the duel between Arthur and Whitebeard had long since faded from the public consciousness. Only when people recalled it would they marvel at the monstrous, terrifying power of the two men.

The sea quickly returned to the tranquil state it had been in a year prior.

A month later, Roger, who had spent the last days of his life in the South Blue, met the reluctant gaze of his wife, Portgas D. Rouge, and resolutely boarded a lone boat, sailing away into the wind.

Time waited for no man. He could feel that he didn't have much longer to live, his body weakened to its absolute limit.

A few days later, Roger found his old rival and friend, Marine Vice Admiral—Garp.

The two met in secret. What they discussed, no one knows.

But... this time, the calm sea would never be calm again.

A piece of news that shocked the world spread from Marine Headquarters. The one and only Pirate King to have conquered the seas, to have completed the impossible journey through the Grand Line, Gol D. Roger, had turned himself in to the Marines.

The news report claimed that Roger had been captured by Vice Admiral Garp.

In an instant, be it civilians or Marines, the admiration for Garp soared to the top. They all began to call him the "Marine Hero"!

This news was even more shocking than Arthur's duel with the legendary Whitebeard.

Many pirates simply laughed it off, thinking the Marines had lost their minds and were publishing fake news in a desperate move. Only Whitebeard and a few of Roger's crewmates knew that it was true.

The storm was brewing... and no one came forward to deny the rumors.

The pirates gradually began to sense that something was wrong.

Just then, an even more explosive piece of news was released: The Marines were going to execute the Pirate King Roger in his hometown—Loguetown.

The entire world was rocked, unable to recover from the shock for a long time.

When the Pirate Admiral Golden Lion Shiki received this news, he flew into a rage, beating the subordinate who delivered the message to death on the spot.

His lifelong rival, Roger, how could he possibly be captured by the incompetent Marines?? How could he be executed in the weakest of the four seas??

This was an insult to Roger!

In an instant, the Golden Lion lost all reason, his eyes turning crimson like a maddened lion.

He boarded his pirate ship and began to rampage, intending to set off from the New World to teach the clueless Marines a lesson they would never forget.

—————————

Meanwhile, in the North Blue, within the Donquixote Family.

A man with short blonde hair, sunglasses, a pink feather coat, and cropped pants, his pointed shoes giving him the appearance of a flamingo, looked at the newspaper handed to him by the mucus man, Trebol, and let out a strange laugh.

"Fuffuffuffuffuffu! The opportunity has finally arrived..."

"Young Master, let's set off for Loguetown to witness the execution of the Pirate King Roger!"

"Doffy, we can finally advance into the New World and seize power!"

A group of bizarre-looking subordinates were ecstatic. After being eliminated from the New World, they had found a man with the "disposition of a king." They had pledged their allegiance to him, waiting for a chance to re-enter the New World.

Now, that chance was right before their eyes!

"Fuffuffuffuffuffu, go prepare the pirate ship. A new struggle for supremacy has begun. Who will climb to the top this time? I'm so looking forward to it!"

—————————

Kuraigana Island.

A man in a floral shirt with slicked-back hair and incomparably sharp eyes cut down the kingdom's strongest swordsman with a single stroke. He then boarded a ship, its destination—Loguetown.

—————————

"Kishishishishishi... Kishishi!"

On the sea, a man with a demonic appearance laughed wildly. He had two horns on the sides of his forehead, sharp ears and teeth, and cross-shaped stitches running from his head to his neck. He wore a bat-collared shirt and gothic attire, his body standing over twenty feet tall—Gecko Moria.

Bartholomew Kuma and Crocodile also set sail almost the instant they received the news, their target: Loguetown.

Far away in the West Blue, a saddened Shanks also began his journey to the East Blue.

Many other figures, both famous and unknown, scrambled to board ships and flock to Loguetown, among them, the son of the hero Garp, who had been growing increasingly silent—Monkey D. Dragon!

The winds of the entire world had all begun to converge on Loguetown!
