Chapter 203: 203 Tea Party, Redirecting the Enemy
Lynch turned around and looked at the Tokikake with a more impatient look.
"This time, I'll just blow your head off. If you can still get up after that, so be it,"
He raised his fist, now quietly infused with Conqueror's Haki and layered with Armament Haki. Delicate sakura petals floated around him, a stark contrast to the tension in the air.
Meanwhile, Tokikake, like a cornered beast, raised his long sword with a ferocious resolve. This would likely be his final strike.
All his remaining strength was focused on this one desperate attempt to kill Lynch.
"Rabbit Breathing Technique · Ninth Style · Thinking Comes Like a Spring!"
With a roar, Tokikake poured every ounce of energy, spirit, and life force into his sword. His body seemed to age decades in an instant—muscles shriveling, vitality draining—but the long sword glowed with an overwhelming, almost otherworldly power.
Scenes of Momousagi filled Tokikake's crazed mind—memories that once drove him forward now burned as fuel for his final act.
Determined to end Lynch at any cost, Tokikake unleashed the last strike of his life with all the fury and desperation of a man willing to sacrifice everything.
...
Fist and sword clashed with a deafening impact, and the two figures separated, staggering in opposite directions.
Lynch stood still, calm as ever, though crimson blood dripped from his clenched fist.
On the ground lay Tokikake, the light in his eyes fading rapidly. His skull was shattered, and part of his brain—including the frontal lobe—was completely destroyed.
In the final moments of his life, a fleeting thought crossed Tokikake's mind. He wished to see Momousagi one last time and hear her say, "Resurrection, my love!"
But no miracle came. Tokikake was gone.
Although his brain twitched faintly in its last spasms, his life had ended.
The man once known as the "number one licking dog of the Marines," Alternate Admiral Chaton, met his demise on Cake Island.
"Tokikake!"
Akainu, clawing his way out of the abyss, arrived just in time to witness the grim scene. His roar echoed across the battlefield, filled with rage.
The fact that a mere emperor from the West Blue, a former Marine Admiral cast out by the Marines themselves, dared to kill an Admiral candidate? It was unforgivable.
Akainu looked battered, blood streaking down his face, reminiscent of the aftermath of his clash with Whitebeard during the Summit War. His blood-soaked eyes locked onto Lynch, unyielding, blazing with murderous intent.
"Brother Akainu," Lynch called out with a radiant smile, squatting casually at the cliff's edge, looking down at the furious Admiral. "Long time no see. I had a feeling you weren't dead."
With a mocking tilt of his head, Lynch added, "Looks like your wife and daughter won't need me to take care of them after all."
As soon as he finished speaking, Lynch raised his foot like a demon and stomped on the edge of the cliff.
The ground shattered, and Akainu, who had just climbed up, was sent plunging back into the abyss.
"Lynch!!!"
Akainu's furious roar echoed as he fell.
But he wasn't finished. From the depths, a surge of magma shot upward, anchoring Akainu as he used it to propel himself back to solid ground.
Half of his body was molten lava, radiating searing heat and unrelenting malice.
"Dark Hound!" Akainu bellowed, unleashing a magma-formed hound's head, ferocious and deadly.
It had been a long time since Akainu had suffered such a humiliating setback, and his bloodied, enraged appearance only heightened his terrifying aura.
Without hesitation, he charged at Lynch, reigniting their fierce battle.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, Garp staggered away from his fight with Big Mom. Severely injured, he knew continuing the clash posed a grave risk—Big Mom could capitalize on his weakened state and take him down. Reluctantly, Garp withdrew from the battlefield's core to recover his strength.
The opponent's relentless, life-risking combat style was beyond what ordinary people could endure.
Big Mom's body bore the brunt of the damage. Several brutal, blunt-force impacts left her with wounds that were slow to heal.
The purplish-black bruises and the way her body seemed caved in made it hard not to wonder—were her internal organs completely shattered?
With her disheveled hair and blood-smeared figure, she now resembled a crazed beast more than ever.
The blood that covered her was a mix of her own and her enemies', leaving her appearance even more savage.
Without Garp to hold her off, Kizaru decided not to continue fighting Big Mom. Instead, he had a different plan—to prepare a "big gift" for someone else.
"Kizaru! What are you doing?! Finish her off for me!"
After noticing Kizaru's actions, Saint Saturn roared angrily.
What he wants is to make sure Big Mom dies here. What is Kizaru doing? He actually led Big mom away? ? ?
From the start of the war until now, Saint Saturn's body had taken a lot of damage.
The once regenerative abilities of his mythical beast form seems slower than before. His four spider-like legs, resembling those of a crab, remained shattered and useless.
The Four Sweet Commanders opposing him were in even worse condition.
Heads hung low, they avoided Saint Saturn's gaze, relying on their legs to judge the enemy's movements. It was as if looking directly at him would cost them a lot, and they had already suffered for it.
Katakuri, thanks to his Devil Fruit abilities, managed to expel toxins from his body, but there is a wound on his chest that is almost impossible to heal.
Snack was even worse. One eye was blinded, and his arm was barely attached—only a third of the flesh kept it from being torn off entirely.
Smoothie staggered, green-purple blood dripping from her lips as she struggled to expel the venom coursing through her veins.
Her tattered clothes barely clung to her, leaving her looking more like a bikini-clad beachgoer than a Sweet Commander.
It seemed even Saint Saturn couldn't help but show his more primal tendencies.
Cracker, on the other hand, appeared untouched.
As a summoner, he stayed safely at a distance, commanding an endless stream of cookie soldiers to fight in his stead. Yet his pale face betrayed that something wasn't quite right with him either.
Kizaru just glanced at Saint Saturn and ignored him.
In his opinion, Saint Saturn had been sitting in the holy place Mariejois for too long and had lost control of the battlefield situation.
Allowing Saint Saturn to command the battlefield was nothing short of a disaster.
Lynch once shared an old saying from his homeland, which Kizaru now muttered under his breath: "He who knows the current affairs is a hero."
Given the current situation, the most logical choice was clear: avoid a head-on clash with Big Mom.
Even if Big Mom is killed, there is a high chance that he and Garp will be killed.
Except for Akainu and Kizaru, the top brass of Marine said they could not accept the death of anyone.
The most practical and cost-effective strategy was to redirect Big Mom's fury toward other pirates, letting them tear each other apart like rabid dogs.
"Well, Kizaru, it's a shame I once considered giving you a salary increase!"
"You yellow electric rat, wretched Pikachu, I'll definitely cut all your pay the day I become Fleet Admiral!"
Lynch raised an eyebrow as he watched Kizaru use himself as bait to draw the crazed Big Mom toward him.
Not only was he dealing with Big Mom, but he also had to face the true terror of a Four Emperors in a desperate state—someone no one wanted to confront.
And as if that wasn't enough, Akainu was right in front of him, with Kizaru heading straight toward him as well.
Facing one Four Emperors and two Admirals at the same time would be tough enough for anyone, not to mention if Master Im showed up.
"Hahahaha, Lynch, you finally have your day!"
Lynch tried to leave, but Akainu wouldn't let him go.
"Hey~ I'm sorry Lynch, we can only guarantee our victory by defeating you first."
Kizaru's wretched face seemed to be condemned by his conscience
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to burn you every year after you die."
