One Piece - I'm Whitebeard

Luffy continued to fiddle with the equipment, acting like a kid in a toy store. He called out, "Crocodile, come here! There are so many weapons and gadgets. Are Marine battleships this powerful? I really want to try launching them."

"You, seriously? Now's not the time to play. Come with me immediately; you can see Whitebeard's battle from the control room," Crocodile said impatiently.

After that, Crocodile is about to grab Luffy and leave here, but once Luffy becomes interested in something, it is not so easy to compromise.

"Oh, wait a minute. I want to keep watching here for a while. Don't be so anxious." Luffy said, continuing to play. 

Crocodile, frustrated, thought about how careless Luffy was and felt like he might just lose his patience.

Considering Luffy's strength, Crocodile decided to give up on forcing him and instead stayed to check out the weapons with him.

After careful observation, Crocodile was also a little surprised, because these weapons are not simple artillery or explosives, but contain various elements, such as weapons with ice elements, fire, magma, and thunder.

Besides the elemental weapons, there was another weapon that Crocodile was particularly interested in.

Crocodile approached a weapon with a label that read: "Biochemical Weapon - Poisonous Mist."

"Does the Marine use poison?" Crocodile said with a hint of irony. 

Such a weapon endangers the innocent and damages the environment. It's surprising that the Marine would resort to using it against Whitebeard.

However, this also showed the Marine's determination to defeat Whitebeard. Still, the level of hostility made Crocodile feel disgusted.

At this time, Luffy suddenly let out a surprised voice: "Wow, what kind of weapon is this? It looks so powerful. Is it called Death Rose?

When Crocodile heard the name "Death Rose," he found it strange. He quickly moved to Luffy's side and looked at the special weapon.

After reading the introduction of this weapon of 'Death Roses', Crocodile was stunned in an instant, and his face suddenly became sluggish, because the level of horror of this weapon was beyond his imagination.

"Is the Marine planning to wipe out the entire human race?" Crocodile said with a shocked face. He had no idea that Marines would be so vicious.

Luffy, curious about Crocodile's shock, didn't grasp the weapon's horror. He muttered, "Is it really that powerful? It seems like just a few small bugs."

"Little bugs?" Crocodile shook his head in disbelief. After a moment, he clenched his fist and prepared to destroy the weapon with a punch.

Crocodile planned to use sand to destroy the pipeline, remove the objects inside, wrap them in sand, and then throw them into the battleship's furnace to completely destroy the weapon.

However, as Crocodile was about to act, Luffy immediately stopped him.

"Crocodile, what are you doing? Why do you want to destroy it?" Luffy asked, standing in front of him.

"Step back; you don't understand how terrible this weapon is. It's little but everywhere. The description says that once exposed to the air, it enters the body through breathing, where it can destroy blood and body tissues. No defense works against it, and it always leads to death"

Crocodile said with a serious face.

This weapon can also spread through contact between people, which is why Crocodiles insist about destroying it. 

The description states that no treatment is effective, and once infected, people will die and can continue to spread the infection even after death.

Others would become infected one by one and eventually be killed.

Biological weapons are terrifying. Although Crocodile doesn't know much about them, the introduction has shown him their devastating potential—they can create diseases and spread infections.

"Is it really that bad? But if you destroy it and cause an alarm, there will still be similar weapons on other warships. Destroying just one won't be enough," Luffy said.

Crocodile was reminded by these words. "Yes, similar weapons might be on other warships. We can't expose it now. We'll have to destroy them later."

Crocodile returned to the control room with Luffy, feeling heavy-hearted. He looked at the screen again. The image was still blurred from the smoke explosion, but it was clearer now.

In the picture, Whitebeard, Akainu and others remain motionless. They are all alleviating the impact they have just endured. Among them, Whitebeard is the one who has suffered the most impact.

Whitebeard, being closest to the explosion's center, was heavily affected by his own attacks. His lightning shock and ice burst were shifted slightly, meaning he was more impacted by his own power.

The quantities are mostly grouped together and overlapping, making it unclear which part belongs to whom.

"Kaido and Big Mom are here? Haven't they been defeated?" Crocodile was surprised to see them.

"Yeah, they should have been captured by Whitebeard. Were they rescued by the Marines?" Luffy asked curiously.

"You are really smart this time. The Marines must have rescued them, and now they've formed an alliance to fight Whitebeard together," Crocodile said.

"What should we do now?" Luffy asked.

"Let's observe the situation first," Crocodile said. Any rash actions now could be counterproductive.

So, Luffy and Crocodile sat calmly in the control room, watching Whitebeard on the screen.

Suddenly, the radio in the control room rang. It was on a special channel, discussing a plan and using a code that Crocodile couldn't understand.

What Crocodile didn't know was that this was Marine's secret plan for Aokiji, similar to how they had tried to manipulate Whitebeard's son, Skuyard. Now, they were attempting to sway Aokiji.

After all, Aokiji was originally a Marine and likely still has some loyalty to them, so it should be relatively easy to incite rebellion.
