One Piece: I'm Mihawk's Son

It is amazing how, for a while now, I have enjoyed my life to the fullest in this world without trying to stop for a moment to think how much of a piece of sh*t I am.

My mother said power changes people, and she was right. I have become so powerful that my willfulness hasn't allowed me to see what's right from what's wrong. I have done things that in my previous life I'd have seen as immoral. Not only in my personal life but also impersonal. Starting from the fact that I have killed people. It doesn't matter if they were right or I was right, I still killed people... but that is not my current predicament.

Not only am I a piece of trash who has slept and married his own adoptive mother. Not only has this sinful bastard married a mother and her three daughters... not only have I gotten three beautiful slaves and more coming... but now I'm also a piece of junk who has slept with an aunt and her niece.

Well, at least I can defend myself by saying that I didn't know... because who could have thought? Primrose is Dragon's sister and Robin's aunt, which makes Robin cousins with Hancock, Sandersonia, and Marigold.

It seems powerful characters of different eras tend to pair up with an Empress of Amazon Lily of that era.

I have a huge headache right now after Dragon explained everything to me.

Basically, Garp's first and only love was the Empress of Amazon Lily one generation after Gloriosa; Boa Paletulip, with whom he had two children.

Dragon is the oldest but his birth was a taboo as women from Amazon Lily are never supposed to give birth to boys, if this was known she would have seen as unqualified to remain the empress. In order to conceal this from the public, he had to leave... Dragon was taken away by Garp. But then, Paletulip broke another taboo, she fell in love with Garp.

Primrose had explained to me before that Empresses of Amazon Lily had the preference of having their children with different men instead of the same person to prevent bonds from forming, inducing lovesickness.

Paletulip had completely forsaken this. She left Amazon Lily once again to have another child with Garp; she had refused to let go until she had a daughter and lucky for her, she did... Primrose. Sadly, committing two taboos was not something she could easily put under the rug, even if the world didn't know, her body did. She fell in love with Garp and after having her daughter, her objective was 'accomplished'.

Garp was a marine, she was an Empress... they were never together in the same place and their relationship wasn't even normalized. The lovesickness consumed her like flames blazing the crop.

At that point, Gloriosa had warned her that her best choice was to leave Amazon Lily and abdicate as the Empress to stay with Garp... But Paletulip was stubborn, and that's how she died.

It wasn't until much later that Garp visited the island; he didn't know that lovesickness was a thing. I can't imagine how that must have broken him... Dragon said Garp only saw Primrose once before leaving the island and he never told her he was her father.

It is amazing and mysterious to me how this lovesickness works and why it even exists only among empresses. In Primrose's case, she was even more extremist due to her mother's death... she murdered Sandersonia, Marigold, and Hancock's fathers to erase any possibility. Who would have thought, eventually she still experienced it... over me.

In Hancock's case, she doesn't have to worry about that as she has the possibility to see me whenever she wants. During the three years that we weren't together, she always knew she could come back to me; she also knows that I love her and we're married... maybe that's the reason why she has never experienced it.

Now we're in a dilemma. I don't have any excuses... there is nothing I can say to this man that will make me look like I have a pure heart; this conversation is meaningless.

I have been making love several times a day for the last two weeks to his daughter and sister, sometimes together... aish.

I don't care about his opinion and I won't leave either Robin or Primrose regardless... but yeah, just in time he reminds me I'm a piece of trash who doesn't even have a single normal relationship.

I just hope no one comes to tell me that Gion is Shakky's sister or something like that, I've had it.

We had a lot more to discuss but first, I had a diplomatic meeting with Nefertari Cobra where he'd thank me for everything that I did and yadda yadda, that's good... it will give me time to process all the ridiculous information I have gotten today.

"Yes, who is this?"

Her voice sounded anxious, ever since we started working together this is the first time the government has placed so much scrutiny on my actions. Now this is unexpected. Dragon allowed himself to be traced?

I just nodded, used to it while Robin was smiling like she had just

"I have a meeting with Dragon the revolutionary after this, and I have to be back to Rusukaina before the moon comes up, so please tell me your concerns." The night was already about to fall too and I didn't want to spend more time here than necessary.

Cobra gasped, believing all the crap that I was spouting to explain why suddenly Crocodile showed up as a woman; this way too I have a genuine reason to take her away as by all right she should be imprisoned here in Alabasta for what she and Baroque Works did.

"She caused trouble for your Kingdom. As she is mine, it is me who must take responsibility for all the grief and destruction she caused. I'll compensate Alabasta for any inconvenience and punish her attitude in private. "I'll send you ten billion bellies in compensation alongside a rain-inducing device; it will allow no further droughts to strike Alabasta, is this enough?" I asked.

"…" His face was momentarily blank. I received no answer from him and thought he must be thinking about all the injustice committed by Crocodile. *sigh* I must compensate more.

"If that's not enough, I can give mo-"

"It is enough! Please, we don't need any more! I was just counting the zeroes! Ten Billion Bellies is about twice what we give every year as a tribute to Marie Geoise; it is enough!"

Really? I thought the tribute was even more money than that. It is an amount of money that could change a country's fate.

I haven't even officialized it with Gion yet; there is Viola too... Shirahoshi's coming in the future and although I don't know how it is, I know Mom is planning for me to marry someone in Wano. I don't have the time or means to give all of them the attention they deserve.

Vivi is not a bad girl, but it is just too much.

"I see, that's a pity," Cobra sighed and dropped the matter, "I understand... I'll ask again in the future once our country has recovered financially, Lord Veyron."
