Meiser stood calmly in the vast water expanse, watching the retreating pirate ship. In truth, he had noticed its presence the moment it appeared nearby. Now that his comrades and main body had departed, he could truly unleash chaos here!

The three Vice Admirals emerging from the water also heard the shocked cries of Marines on the bridge.

After withdrawing his gaze from the Sea King carcasses, he focused on a figure among the warships.

In the next instant, Aokiji disappeared, reappearing aboard Meiser's vessel.

"So, you're responsible for all this," Aokiji stated.

"As expected of Marine Headquarters' top combatant..." Meiser remarked with admiration.

His clone's attack speed hadn't been slow, yet it still couldn't evade Aokiji's strike, getting frozen instantly into an ice sculpture.

Most impressively, the man's ice control reached terrifying precision—freezing only that specific area without affecting the surrounding sea or injuring any Marines nearby!

Truly worthy of being a Marine Admiral.

"Quite the terrifying power you have."

"Ara ara, flattery will get you nowhere, kid," Aokiji replied. "And you still haven't answered my question."

"Indeed, it was me."

"Including that water sphere earlier?"

"Correct."

"Truly fearsome ability..." Aokiji narrowed his eyes at Meiser. "Just who are you?"

"Me?" Meiser chuckled. "I'm just a ninja."

"Ninja?" Aokiji raised an eyebrow. "From the Land of Wano?"

To his knowledge, Wano Country had ninjas—but wasn't that Kaido's territory? Could this man be one of Kaido's subordinates?

"Not quite."

Meiser felt puzzled—why did everyone assume he came from Wano?

"Ara ara, seems our young friend isn't being entirely honest~" Aokiji mused. "No matter. Once I take you back to Marine Headquarters, we'll get all the answers we need."

With events escalating to this degree and the young man conveniently captured, letting him go wasn't an option.

As for that escaping pirate ship earlier?

Aokiji conveniently hadn't noticed.

"Surrendering and going with you quietly isn't really my style~" Meiser said with a smile. "Why don't you just make your move instead?"

"What a pain, having to resort to force..." Aokiji shook his head before adopting a serious expression. "Very well, I'll capture you first. Otherwise Fleet Admiral Sengoku will give me trouble again."

"You'll have to catch me first!" Meiser shouted.

As he spoke, Meiser leaped backward to create distance while bringing his hands together in a seal.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!!"

"BOOM!!"

An overwhelming sea of flames surged toward Aokiji with terrifying intensity, threatening to reduce everything to ashes.

"So this is the Ninjutsu of Ninjas... fascinating..."

"Ice Block: Pheasant Beak!!"

A massive ice bird materialized in Aokiji's hands and soared toward the distant wall of fire!!
