One piece: Evolving Towards a New Race

Ars thought about it for a few minutes and then looked at everyone. 

"To start with we're gonna wait until it's night, then we're gonna swim towards the other side of the island to try to avoid having the guard spotting us, we won't use the land path we will stay away from it. Ars looked at the 9 people, he just hoped that they could do it properly and not mess it up, then he looked at Koral. "On the other hand you and Tom will stay on the boat, you can sail a little bit, you should also stay close by. I will signal you when everything is over."

When night arrived, the 9 guys were waiting for Ars, the tide was low and as Ars predicted you could see one of the pirates guarding the only land access to the island, they all got in the water as stealthly as possible and swam towards the island, when they arrived at the other side of the island, they were pleasantly surprised with every single other pirate sleeping, unaware of what was coming to them.

Ars approached them as stealthly as possible and started killing them in their sleep, he managed to kill 4 of them before the idiot representative managed to mess up and woke the 5 remaining ones, and once awake all hell broke loose, Ars still managed to kill another one from behind while he was distracted by the idiot.

Ars was incensed, not only did he mess it up, the 9 guys together didn't even manage to kill one enemy…

The remaining pirates started screaming for the last one that was guarding the entrance to come help.

Ars looked angry, and he was, his plan that could make sure nobody from his side got heavy injuries, had been ruined thanks to that idiot. Ars gritted his teeth " #!$%, after this im kicking his ass so bad, he won't be able to move for the rest of the year ...."

Ars got his knife out and threw it at one of the pirates, it didn't kill him since he dodged but it managed to hit the guy behind him.

The pirate that dodged charged at Ars, his weapon of choice a war axe, he came swinging it with both hands, aiming downwards for Ars head, Ars could go for an easy stab on the neck, but decided against it, he wanted to concentrate on dodging, and not risk trading blows.

As Ars was dodging he slashed at the thug arm, and managed to injure the pirate near his wrist, with that injury the pirate would not be able to use that arm at full power. Ars decided to go on the attack, he went feinted an attack on the enemy neck just to change the direction of the sword towards his legs at the last second, the pirate tried to dodge, and he nearly successfully dodged, now instead of a missing limb he had a huge bleeding gash on his inner leg, the other pirates were also getting pushed back since it was a 3v1, their only hope was the pirate that was coming running from the other side of the island, the pirate Ars was fighting tried to endure but he was losing too much blood and Ars knew it too, he needed treatment as fast as possible to survive, but Ars didn't intend to let him live that long… Ars went for another attack this time he went with a slash towards the enemy neck directly, the enemy blocked it but still got injured on the fingers on the side of the injured arm, now with an arm basically disabled, his current weapon had become hard to use with just one arm and .

Each time Ars attacked the pirate would get more and more wounded, finally after 4 or 5 attacks the pirate got overwhelmed and failed to defend himself getting his head cut off from his shoulders. The pirate coming wasn't here yet that meant a 3 v 10, and Ars quickly killed two others with all out attacks to their backs, when the pirate that was running arrived the last of the pirates there was getting attacked by all sides and quickly died too, now as he just arrived, he was solo vs 10 enemies he tried to back off, and threatened with a gun, but Ars didn't let him go, he faked a signal to make it look like there was someone behind the pirate, the pirate scared turned around to defend himself, when he realized he had been played he turned back but Ars had quickly rushed in, the pirate desperate, swung his melee weapon, a mace towards Ars head with all his might, but Ars simply dodged by stopping right before entering the enemy attack range.

Then he stepped in range and with one last swing Ars killed the last pirate, and the moment he did he rushed towards the damn idiot that ruined his plans and drop kicked him.

"I'M SORRY!!" The idiot on the ground quickly apologized, he wasn't the smartest guy around but even he knew that he had messed up and put everyone at risk.

Ars stopped,he wanted to beat the life out of him and leave him hurting for a while but since he apologized he stopped, then he quickly went to a torch lit it up and started waving it towards the sea, a few minutes later Koral and Tom appeared in the small boat. Koral disembarked and went to check everyone for injuries, she found out that only one of the guys had light wounds, she quickly disinfected the wound and bandaged the guy.

Ars went towards his new ship, and got in, he started exploring the ship where he found near 3 million berries, a small treasure chest and more importantly 4 slaves, three females and one male, all human. Ars thought of how to handle the situation, just as he was about to say something, Koral entered and saw the slaves, she quickly rushed towards them to check if they were alright. Ars thought to himself 'Well, that is a way….'

At first the 4 slaves showed no hope, when they had seen a different group of people, they simply thought they were either buyers or they simply had changed from one group of pirates hands to another, but when they saw Koral actually caring for them and helping them, they realized they were going to be alright, at worst they would be slaves that were not treated as disposable objects.

The girls were breaking into tears, and the guy also seemed somewhat relieved. 

"Like I was about to ask, would you prefer to come with us, or stay in this kingdom? " If before they were crying now they were weeping, they realized they had been rescued and now had the choice to stay or start a new life in a new place. The choice for the 3 females was easy, they chose to leave with Ars they didn't want to stay.

The only guy was surprised he looked at Ars and the others, he bowed his head towards Ars thankful and looked at the three females weeping. He took a deep breath. "I will stay, I have things to take care of." The females agreed with what he said, and before Ars could ask or say anything more the guy explained "You probably think we were brought here by the pirates to be sold, but you would be wrong… We were actually sold to these pirates that also work as slavers, by nobles from this kingdom, soldiers from the kingdom invaded our houses, killed our families in front of us, blaming us for the most absurd crimes, and then sold us, to make money. Now I have nothing left, but I will try having my revenge. I will probably fail, but if I don't even try I will never be able to live with myself… And at worst I will be able to kill one or two nobles…" His gaze full of hatred fell on the kingdom, the other three females simply stood silently and kept crying, they had similar experiences.

Ars stayed silent, he wanted to console them all and convince the man to come with him, but didn't know how. After a few seconds he decided to give up and went to check the interior of the small chest, so he could distract everyone from the heavy mood. He grabbed it, and opened it. Inside there was an akuma no mi that he didn't know, it was multi-colored, with the top looking like a lid being green, and the bottom part being a mixture of pink and green in the shape of a flask, Koral on the other hand recognised it instantly and was super excited about it. Before Ars even managed to ask what akuma no mi was, Koral had already decided that it was going to be hers by any means necessary. 

Knowing that defeating Ars in battle would be impossible, her first instinct was trying to seduce him, so the moment she saw it she started loosening up the buttons on her blouse, tearing her own skirt on the side to be easier to show off her legs, in her mind getting the fruit would be worth it, no matter the price.

Ars looked speechless at Koral, she was attractive but he also knew she was only doing this because she wanted the fruit, and accepting her advances just because of her body would feel wrong to him.

Ars looked at her "I suppose you know the name of this fruit ….. So what's its name?"

Koral looked at him then at the fruit and opened her mouth to say something that left everyone with their mouths wide open, "The name of that fruit is … You can do anything to me, use me as you want, as a toy, as a sex doll, as a piece of disposable worthless trash, use me as a whore to get extra stuff from businesses in the future … I won't care and I will forgive you and even happily follow any of your orders… As long as you give me that fruit …"

"No you don't need to do any of those, you are indeed attractive but don't misunderstand… " Ars was answering, tired of having to deal with more than one idiot on the same day, but got interrupted by her.

"I really meant it…. As long as I get that fruit I'm willing to do anything …" Koral said now a little bit calmer, yet her eyes didn't leave the akuma no mi, Ars could see she looked almost desperate for it.
