Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Poseidon (Part 2)
Chapter 212: Poseidon (Part 2)
The splendor of the surrounding walls and the massive chandelier all reflected the shipowner's nobility.
This was exactly to Charlotte's taste.
Seeing Charlotte nod repeatedly, Judge was secretly delighted.
He was never afraid of Charlotte being dissatisfied—he was only worried that Charlotte would have no expectations at all.
To build a ship that truly suited Charlotte's preferences, Judge had studied numerous ship designs, even taking inspiration from the luxurious vessels of the Celestial Dragons.
Now, after completing this masterpiece, he was confident that not even the Celestial Dragons' ships could match its grandeur.
Even the gilded golden walls of the main hall alone had cost an unimaginable amount of gold.
If not for the dozens of chests of gold from the Valley of the Gods, Judge wouldn't have dared to spend so extravagantly.
"Good! Not bad!"
Charlotte could only repeat these words. He had no other way to express his excitement.
"Mr. Charlotte! Is there anywhere else you would like to see?"
Judge asked with a smile.
"Let's go! We'll explore the whole ship today!"
Charlotte waved his hand and stepped out of the cabin.
Judge quickly followed.
Caesar Courant walked over, gave Judge a thumbs-up, and then stayed behind, continuing his own observations.
Judge smirked proudly and hurried after Charlotte.

Deck Inspection
Stepping onto the deck, Charlotte took a deep breath.
Perhaps because the ship was newly built, the air inside still carried a faint scent of fresh materials, making the outside air feel far more refreshing.
His gaze then fell on the unusual cannons mounted around the deck.
"Judge! What's up with these cannons?"
Charlotte asked, staring at the strangely designed weapons.
They lacked traditional barrels, making them look vastly different from conventional cannons.
"Hehe! Mr. Charlotte, these are not ordinary cannons—they are electromagnetic railguns. Their effective range is 1,500 meters, and a single shot can easily destroy an entire pirate ship. This vessel is equipped with 120 of them!"
Judge stroked the side of one of the extended iron turrets, his face filled with pride.
"Electromagnetic railguns?"
Charlotte was stunned. He hadn't expected Judge to have developed such advanced technology.
"Hehe! Mr. Charlotte, I didn't invent the electromagnetic railguns myself. They were developed by my team of scientists. I was only responsible for installing them on the ship!"
Judge gestured toward the group of scientists standing behind Charlotte.
Hearing this, the scientists all stood taller, puffing out their chests with pride.
It had taken them nearly two and a half years to develop these railguns, and they were immensely proud of their work.
Charlotte looked at the self-assured group and nodded approvingly.
"Great! From now on, your research funding will be increased by 10%!"
He generously increased their funding.
Ivan, standing behind Charlotte, twitched at the sudden expense increase but said nothing, not wanting to ruin Charlotte's good mood.
"Can we test one? I'd like to see its power firsthand."
Charlotte asked, intrigued.
"There's no problem with that! Right away!"
Judge nodded without hesitation.
Charlotte scanned the horizon and spotted a distant reef.
"See that reef? Fire at it!"
He pointed at the target.
"No problem! But Mr. Charlotte, please follow me. These electromagnetic railguns are controlled remotely through an intelligent system."
Judge motioned for Charlotte to follow.
Charlotte and his group walked toward a control room on the sixth deck.
---
Control Room
Inside, a massive display screen dominated the room.
"This control room allows us to operate all 120 electromagnetic railguns remotely."
Judge explained, gesturing toward the control panel.
Charlotte approached the console.
A row of neatly arranged buttons and levers lay before him.
"Mr. Charlotte, if you want to fire the electromagnetic railguns, simply press this button. You can target specific locations or fire all cannons simultaneously!"
Judge explained the operating system.
Charlotte immediately recognized the familiarity of the setup.
"It's just like playing a video game."
Charlotte thought to himself as he experimented with the controls.
Each time he pressed a button, a corresponding electromagnetic cannon on the deck adjusted its position, buzzing with electricity.
He suddenly had the urge to test all 120 cannons at once.
"Fire all of them! I want to see their full power!"
Charlotte ordered decisively.
Judge hesitated briefly before quickly pressing multiple buttons, activating all the cannons.
For some reason, as Judge operated the controls, Charlotte pictured a white-clad scientist with glasses in his mind, dramatically announcing:
"All systems… ALL systems! START! START! The Super Railgun is READY TO FIRE!"
Charlotte chuckled at his own imagination.
Judge, meanwhile, finished activating all 120 cannons.
The electromagnetic turrets on deck hummed as arcs of electricity crackled at their muzzles.
Judge turned toward Charlotte, then pressed the red launch button.
At that moment—
Charlotte felt a massive surge of energy explode from the ship.
BOOM!
A deafening blast shook the air.
Everyone on Kami Island heard the thunderous explosion and turned to look toward the source.
Even the spies hiding in the area were startled, immediately creeping closer to investigate.
A terrifying shockwave rippled across the sea.
Even the ship itself vibrated slightly.
As the smoke cleared—
Everyone's eyes widened in shock.
The massive reef Charlotte had targeted… was gone.
All that remained was a gigantic crater in the ocean, rapidly filling with swirling seawater.
"Holy…!"
Everyone gasped in disbelief.
Even Charlotte was momentarily speechless.
If anyone still believed that "Haki surpasses everything," Charlotte would personally beat them senseless.
This was the power of technology.
If a single railgun strike could be this devastating, then what about Pluton—the ancient weapon said to be able to wipe out entire islands?
Charlotte suddenly felt a deep interest in Pluton.
"I must obtain those blueprints."
For the safety of his family and his dominance on the seas, he needed a trump card.
Even if he never used it, he had to possess the knowledge.
Charlotte made a firm decision.
"Merman shipwright Tom… I didn't meet him last time! I wonder if I'll get the chance this time."
He muttered to himself.
Now that Poseidon was complete, his journey around the world was about to begin.
With his growing family and responsibilities, he couldn't afford to recklessly adventure as he once did.
