"Come, everyone!" Fujitora said calmly. "Although the true outcome of this war lies with those three, our battle is just as important."
Slowly, he drew the long blade at his waist, his body leaning slightly forward, expression grave.
The dozen or so opponents were mid-tier forces from both pirate crews, each with bounties between 300 million and 1 billion. More importantly, they all wielded Haki.
Suddenly, Fujitora made his move. His figure flickered and instantly appeared before the three at the front.
At the same time, figures moved from his sides and rear, attempting to surround him. "Gravity Surge!" A ripple of force exploded outward as Fujitora swung his blade.
Instantly, gravity in front of him shifted—before the three could react, their faces twisted with terror as they were slammed to the ground.
With a thunderous crash, a crater opened beneath them, and their bodies plunged downward. Fujitora spun and swung his blade again to meet the incoming attackers.
"Clang!"
His sword clashed with various weapons, and though calm, he was forced back a few steps. "These guys aren't easy to deal with," he muttered, turning swiftly and attacking again.
"Hell Brigade!" Gravity intensified beneath his feet—two enemies were crushed to the ground, unable to move.
But the others dodged with swift reactions. "Observation Haki?" Fujitora murmured. "The New World truly teems with talent."
In the next moment, both sides clashed again, exchanging attacks in a fierce deadlock. Meanwhile, elsewhere on the battlefield…
"Desert Spada!" With a sweeping motion, Crocodile unleashed a massive sandstorm, sending dozens of pirates screaming through the air.
Without hesitation, he slammed both hands into the ground. "Desert Encierro!"
The ground for several thousand meters trembled as stone was drained of moisture, turning to sand and swallowing large numbers of pirates.
The terrifying sight left onlookers shaken. "A monster! Is this the power of a Marine Admiral?"
"Each move is like a natural disaster!" "How are we supposed to fight something like this?!"
Cries of fear echoed from all directions. As Crocodile advanced, the pirates retreated en masse, clearing the battlefield.
"He's tough to handle," someone muttered. "Fall back. Leave this to me!" A figure stepped forward from the crowd, stopping calmly at the front.
His eyes locked onto Crocodile. "Charlotte Cracker!" Crocodile exhaled smoke with a faint grin. "A second-rate Big Mom pirate like you thinks he can stop me?"
"Crocodile!" Cracker's voice was deep inside his fully armored suit. "We're from the same era, but we've never fought before."
With a clang of metal, he struck his armor with his blade. "Clang! Clang!" As the sound echoed, an armored soldier appeared before him, heavy and imposing.
Cracker kept striking—one by one, more figures emerged, each clad in thick armor and radiating powerful auras.
In the blink of an eye, over a thousand biscuit soldiers stood ready, and Cracker continued forging more.
Crocodile watched, a cigar dangling from his mouth, unimpressed. "Nothing but cannon fodder that'll crumble in a single blow."
"You can make as many as you want—what's the point?" Still, the sight excited the surrounding pirates. Cracker alone could summon an entire army.
Each soldier was formidable in combat, and even if shattered, they could quickly regenerate. This was the ultimate form of quantity-based combat power.
"Cannon fodder, you say?" The biscuit soldiers all spoke at once, their unified voice rumbling through the air.
"Your arrogance will be your downfall, Sand Crocodile!" Crocodile's eyes narrowed with a hint of seriousness.
"Looks like you people from Big Mom's crew aren't to be taken lightly." He slowly raised his right hand.
"Buzz!"
A wave of formless energy surged out. The ground cracked and crumbled into a sky full of sand particles that swirled around him.
In a blink, a massive sandstorm formed overhead, engulfing the area. It was a terrifying spectacle—Crocodile's logia power manifesting in its full, natural disaster-like form.
Elsewhere on the battlefield… "Get moving!" a deep voice growled.
"The enemy is Douglas Bullet! Are you cowards really scared already?!"
"I'm Jack the Drought!" The towering figure thundered forward, his presence shaking the air.
He marched past terrified pirates who trembled before the fearsome figure standing ahead, arms crossed, eyes cold and domineering.
Sensing someone's approach, Bullet turned his gaze. "Jack the Drought, huh? One of Kaido's All-Stars!"
He grinned wickedly. "So, you're the one in the biggest hurry to die!" Not far from Onigashima, a few ships sailed silently up the inner island's river.
"Zehahaha!" Blackbeard laughed. "We haven't landed yet, but I can already feel the war raging on this island!"
"How thrilling!" Thunder roared overhead as stormwinds howled, whipping the sails violently. Pirate ships flew skull flags as they sped up the river toward Onigashima.
On the lead ship stood the Blackbeard Pirates, faces grim as they stared at the lightning-filled sky.
Even before reaching the shore, they could feel the island's ominous pressure weighing down on them.
"We meet again, Arashi," Sakazuki murmured, his glowing red eyes gleaming. "This time… will you still be standing above me, looking down?"
With a bitter smile, he clenched his fist tightly. Since their youth, the two had walked the same path—but had never been on the same side.
Sakazuki still remembered the first time they met—he was knocked unconscious by Arashi's sheer Conqueror's Haki.
For over two decades, every encounter ended in his humiliating defeat. Their rivalry only deepened with time.
What puzzled Sakazuki most was that despite their similar personalities and ideology, Arashi always seemed to despise him.
Until that fateful day, the battle for the title of Fleet Admiral. He lost badly. Nearly died. That battle cost him everything. He deserted the Marines and fell into disgrace.
"At last, our true showdown begins, Arashi!" Sakazuki growled, bloodlust blazing in his eyes.
He didn't know how many times they had clashed, but this time, he believed—this would be the battle that erased his shame. Meanwhile, on a ship behind his...
"Arashi—the world's greatest problem in the past 800 years…" Saint Saturn looked up at the distorted sky with a sigh.
"Hard to believe he's remained active for over twenty years now. But today, everything ends."
Beside him, Saint Figarland Garling narrowed his eyes. "You fought him over a decade ago, didn't you?"
"Yes," Saturn nodded. "That fight was merely a probe on both sides. Still, he lost and ended up imprisoned in Impel Down."
He paused, expression serious. "It's not that we didn't want to eliminate him. It's just… this man can't be killed."
Garling's face turned grave. "You weren't even fighting seriously, were you?" Saturn nodded slowly.
"Of course not." Yet his expression remained somber. Even after that fight, and a decade of planning, they had found no true solution.
Arashi's immortality and immense power made him like a living god. And in the past ten years, he had likely grown even stronger.
"Garling," Saturn suddenly said. The other turned, puzzled. "If something happens to me in this battle..."
Saturn took a deep breath. "You must retreat—immediately. Leave Onigashima and Wano without delay."
Garling hesitated. "Isn't that too pessimistic?" Saturn shook his head. "When facing that man, no amount of caution is too much."
"You've fought him before, but you still don't understand his true terror." Saturn's voice turned icy.
"If this operation fails… we'll erase this country from the map."
Garling's face paled. "What?!"
He was utterly shocked. While he didn't fully understand what "erasure" entailed, he could sense the horror behind it.
"Just as you heard. Wano… may vanish from this world," Saturn said coldly.
Garling stood in stunned silence. To destroy an entire nation for one man—this was the extent of the World Government's desperation.
And more terrifying still was what Saturn had implied: that they held the power to annihilate a country in an instant.
Not far behind Saturn's ship, the Red Force was following at a steady distance. Further behind sailed the Whitebeard Pirates.
Ace's expression was grim as he stared at the storm-darkened sky. He could feel the crushing pressure in the air.
"This battle may surpass Marineford," Marco said darkly. "It might be the one that decides the fate of the world," Vista added.
Every face on board was filled with tension. From the waves of pressure, the roaring winds, and the overwhelming Conqueror's Haki emanating from Onigashima, they all knew—this war would be unlike any other.
"Arashi..." Ace murmured. He had to admit, his feelings toward Arashi were incredibly complicated. On one hand, he owed him a great debt.
On the other, Arashi was the very man who captured his biological father, Roger, and later fought against his beloved Whitebeard.
Now, with the current chaotic situation, Ace couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. This deployment… was entirely for him. "What exactly is our position in this conflict?"
"Ace, have you made your decision?" Marco's voice suddenly broke through his thoughts, making his heart jolt.
After a moment of silence, a firm light flashed in Ace's eyes. Slowly, he spoke. "Our target is Marshall D. Teach. The battle at sea... it's not over yet!"
Marco and the others were momentarily stunned—then burst into laughter. "You're the captain. We'll follow your lead, even if part of us wants to deal with Arashi too!"
"Hahaha! Arashi sure has a mountain of trouble now, but the Whitebeard Pirates aren't the kind of cowards who strike when someone's down!"
"Teach is the only one we'll never forgive!" Voices rose one after another. Hearing this, Ace visibly relaxed.
What he feared most was his crew disobeying his orders as their new captain. That would be a real mess.
Even if his strength was already recognized, his time in command was still short, and his experience lacking.
But thankfully, his crew respected his decision. Lifting his head slowly, Ace fixed his eyes on the storm-wracked Onigashima.
A cold, sharp glint flashed in his eyes.
"Arashi! I'm coming!"
Boom!
A violent collision shook the air. Big Mom's massive figure was sent flying, blood spraying from her mouth as she crashed to the ground.
Her body tumbled several thousand meters before slamming into a mountain. At the same time, Arashi had taken a blow to the waist from Kaido's kanabo.
Blood gushed from his lips, but he grinned savagely, raised his head, and swung a fist straight at Kaido.
BOOM!
The punch crashed into Kaido's jaw, sending several of his teeth flying. The force launched him into the air.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
Kaido hit the ground, coughing violently, his mind momentarily dazed. But his monstrous recovery kicked in, and he quickly stood upright, eyes locked on Arashi.
He had to admit—Arashi's strength was near invincible. Even the combined might of two Emperors couldn't suppress him.
In fact, as the battle went on, the tide was clearly turning in Arashi's favor.
"What kind of monster is this guy?"
Kaido was shaken to his core. For the first time, he mentally referred to Arashi as a monster.
At that moment, thick smoke billowed. Big Mom struggled to her feet, her robes soaked with blood. She gasped heavily, each step causing the earth to quake.
"Arashi!"
Her voice dripped with fury and cold hatred, her face twisted in rage. His power terrified her. From birth, she'd been gifted with monstrous strength.
After eating the Soul-Soul Fruit, her abilities only grew stronger. With age came Haki, and she eventually rose to Emperor status.
Her whole life had been defined by raw talent. While she had likely trained, it was ultimately her natural gifts that brought her such overwhelming power.
But now, she was facing the strongest enemy of her life. Before fighting Arashi, she could never have imagined someone like him existed.
"He's even stronger than Rocks..." The thought chilled her soul.
A wave of irrational fear took root in her heart, but a sudden explosion ahead snapped her back to reality.
A violent gust of wind grazed her body and slammed into the same mountain she'd struck before.
BOOM!
The mountain shattered. Rubble flew. Smoke mushroomed.
"Kaido!" Big Mom spun around and shouted,
"Don't zone out, Linlin! With someone this strong, losing focus is suicide! Do I really need to teach you that?"
Kaido emerged from the smoke, blood dripping from his jaw, his voice laced with fury.
"He's too powerful!" Big Mom growled.
"Are you afraid? Don't forget—we are both emperors of the sea!"
Kaido's shout shook her awake. Her fear quickly gave way to blazing battle spirit. She gripped Napoleon tightly.
"You're right, Kaido! How could I possibly fear him?!"
In the next instant, they locked eyes and roared together, charging toward Arashi.
"ROAR!"
Kaido leapt high into the air, swinging his kanabo down with both hands. Big Mom's sword, Napoleon, ignited with fire and crackled with lightning.
On the ground, Arashi let out a wild grin.
"Roaring Light Cannon!"
"Rising Dragon: Kaen Hakke!"
In the sky, a giant female spirit dove down. Alongside it, a crimson fire dragon spiralled in a dragon formation, howling as it shot beams of blazing light.
Both attacks descended toward Arashi. He sank slightly at the knees, clenching his fists.
"Iron Fist: Consecutive Punches!"
A massive fist imprint erupted into the sky, followed by a second, then hundreds more.
Countless fist shadows flooded the air, nearly covering half the heavens as they all targeted Kaido and Big Mom.
Arashi's fists flew with manic speed. His state was one of total madness.
The sky filled with his Haki-infused punches, resembling a meteor storm. Every strike pulsed with Conqueror's Haki, sparking with black-red lightning.
They painted the sky in darkness, casting Onigashima in red and black hues. Countless people looked up, overwhelmed by the sight.
BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ!
The void trembled. Then, all the fist shadows collided with Kaido, Big Mom, and their attacks.
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Explosions of multicolored light filled the sky like fireworks. Dazzling, blinding. But everyone knew—beneath that beautiful display lurked unimaginable destruction.
Suddenly, the fireworks faded. For a moment, time seemed to stop.
Then, the sky fractured into countless thin glowing threads that shot outward in all directions.
These arcs of destruction fell quietly into the sea and far corners of Onigashima and then—mushroom clouds bloomed.
Silent, yet devastating.
But amid the chaos, a pair of meteors slipped through the cracks and shot straight toward Kaido and Big Mom.
Still silent, but both Emperors' faces twisted in horror. Blood spewed from their mouths, their bodies contorted and caved in under the unseen impact.
They plummeted from the sky, crashing into the ground with a thunderous boom.
"Captain Kaido!!"
"MAMA!!"
Terrified cries rang out—but no one else could hear them. Time froze for about four or five seconds. Then the delayed explosion roared out.
The deafening blast assaulted everyone's eardrums. Some bled from their ears, crying out in agony. Others screamed in panic.
Dust and smoke filled the air, blotting out the sky. No one could see anything.
"What happened? I can't see a thing! I can't hear anything either!"
Panic swept the battlefield. Everything ground to a halt. Then the wind blew in from above, gradually clearing the smoke.
As visibility returned, everyone stared toward the center of the battlefield and what they saw made their pupils contract.
"When did that happen? Who are these unknown enemies on the battlefield?!"
"Wait—they've surrounded Arashi."
As the dust settled, the center of the battlefield became clear. Around a dozen figures now stood, encircling Arashi.
"Blackbeard—Marshall D. Teach!"
"Red-Haired Shanks!!!"
"And that old man... who is he?!"
"Is the tide of this war about to shift completely? What the hell is going on?!"
A chorus of chaotic voices rose across the battlefield.
