Zoro stepped forward silently, retrieved the three knives, and then, stripping off his shirt and shoes, he immediately entered the tank.

His brow furrowed deeply, but he didn't utter a sound.

"As expected of a tough guy!" Sanji muttered, observing him.

Not wanting to be outdone, Sanji also took off his shirt and shoes and plunged into the tank. A grimace of instant pain contorted his face.

The timid trio watched this, their fear intensifying.

Trafalgar Law, noticing his own crew's apprehension, used his Devil Fruit ability to submerge Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin in the tank for ten minutes. Both of them screamed in agony.

"What's with all the yelling!" Law snapped. "This medicinal bath is good for you! Soaking in it will drastically enhance your bodies and strength, far faster than regular training. Just endure it! If you can't even handle this pain, what hope do you have of surviving in the New World? You'll just be waiting for death!"

Law's tone was severe, a stark contrast to Luffy's more lenient approach.

Hearing his words, Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin immediately clamped their mouths shut, only letting out muffled groans no matter how intense the pain became.

Carl couldn't help but give Law a thumbs up. He really wanted to lecture Luffy: "Look at him! Now that's a captain!"

Nearby, Nico Robin and Mary glanced at Carl, who responded with an encouraging nod and a smile. Without further hesitation, they removed their shoes and entered the tank, tears of pain streaming down their faces.

Carl had to grit his teeth, forcing himself to look away.

Eventually, Nami and Tashigi also submerged themselves in the tank. Usopp and the larger crew members, who had been nervously eyeing the tank, finally followed suit.

Suddenly, a commotion erupted on the deck.

Carl turned apologetically to Hercules. "Mr. Hercules, Warrior of the Forest, I am truly sorry for neglecting our guest. Everyone is undergoing training. Please, allow me to entertain you. Make yourself comfortable."

Hercules waved a dismissive hand. "No need for apologies. I was the one who interrupted. You are all admirable warriors. Witnessing such rigorous training has truly opened my eyes. And I am Hercules, the Warrior of the Forest!"

Carl was momentarily speechless. This Hercules seems a bit self-absorbed and not much of a conversationalist.

So, Carl simply brought out some drinks to entertain Hercules, hoping to encourage less talking.

As dusk settled, the liquid in the tank gradually cleared. The twelve individuals and one white bear had become gaunt, their stomachs growling fiercely. They looked as if they were on the verge of starvation.

"Food! Food! I want food!" Luffy's voice echoed, joined by the cries of the others.

Carl quickly announced, "The medicine bath is over! The island is overflowing with delicacies. Go ahead and eat your fill!"

"Ooooh!!!"

That single sentence ignited a collective burst of energy. They all rushed towards the island's interior, instantly transforming into ravenous wolves upon seeing the abundance of food spread everywhere.

Carl, Riku, Law, Tony Tony Chopper, and Hercules followed behind, observing the horrific yet understandable scene, a wave of mixed emotions washing over them.

The drawbacks of this medicine bath are truly severe. To think it makes people this hungry! If there wasn't such a massive amount of food here, they probably would have starved to death.

Carl carefully analyzed the situation, a general understanding of the liquid medicine's principles forming in his mind.

Wash the marrow and cleanse the bones, reborn! By purifying the meridians and bone marrow through medicinal power, it's essentially reshaping the body, while also healing any hidden injuries. This process is naturally incredibly painful and consumes a vast amount of energy.

However, the effect is undoubtedly outstanding!

By dawn, the twelve people and one white bear had finally eaten their fill. Their bodies had returned to their original forms, and they all succumbed to a deep sleep.

Seeing this, Carl decided to stand guard.

Around eight or nine in the morning, Zoro was the first to awaken.

"Hey! Great Swordsman, how are you feeling?" Carl asked with a smile.

"Feels... relaxed and energized!"

Zoro silently clenched his fist, which was now coated in a significantly stronger layer of Armament Haki than before the medicinal bath. Carl could clearly sense the increased intensity of the hardening.

Indeed, the effect is remarkable!

Following Zoro, the others woke up one by one, instinctively sensing the changes in their own power.

Surprise registered on all their faces.

"Hahahaha! Did you see that, moss-head? My Armament Haki has awakened! You'll never mock me again!"

Sanji roared with laughter, casually lifting his leg and kicking a large boulder, shattering it into pieces. This was clearly not his usual kick; it was imbued with the destructive force of Armament Haki!

Carl, overjoyed, then turned to Robin and Mary, smiling and stepping forward to pat them on the head.

"How does it feel?" Carl asked softly.

"It seems my strength has more than doubled," Robin replied cautiously.

Mary pondered for a moment, then walked directly to a large tree that would have taken three people to encircle. She punched the trunk, and it snapped cleanly, causing the entire tree to fall.

This further confirmed the significant increase in everyone's strength.

Although Mary possesses the Paramecia-type Paint-Paint Fruit, her physical strength was previously akin to that of an ordinary young girl. To see her now, practically a powerhouse, felling a tree with a single punch after just one night... it's unbelievable!

Nami, skeptical, decided to test her own strength. She discovered it was even more exaggerated than Mary's. In the past, her beatings of Luffy could be considered dominant, but now she was practically a humanoid female tyrannosaurus, possessing incredible physical power!

Carl clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "Alright, everyone has experienced the increase in their strength. Next, it's my, Law's, and Chopper's turn for the medicinal bath. You all take some time to get accustomed to your newfound power. As for how to do that, I don't think I need to teach any of you, right?"

After countless training sessions together, if they still needed instruction on adapting to increased strength, then Carl, the "Devil Instructor," wouldn't deserve the title.

Carl dismissed everyone immediately, then returned to the deck with Law and Chopper, and they began their own medicine bath.

As for what the others did, he didn't pay it any mind. If they accidentally get eaten by something on the island, well, then Carl can't really help them. Luffy and the others would have to go and rescue them.

Carl pushed aside these extraneous thoughts and submerged himself directly into the vat. The liquid medicine enveloped his entire head, and then the familiar knife-like pain washed over him.

But compared to Kaido's Armament Haki-infused destruction, this pain is nothing.

Law also soaked himself without a word, while Chopper immediately began yelling, tears streaming down his furry face from the agony.

Carl and Law didn't offer any words of comfort. Some pain needs to be endured alone; no one can teach you how. If Chopper can't handle this, his future might indeed be uncertain.

In the end, Chopper persevered.

The three of them, a human, a reindeer, and a polar bear, emerged from the bath emaciated and immediately headed towards the island, devouring food like madmen.

Even when the island's wildlife tried to hunt them during their feasting, it had little effect, as Carl controlled his flying sword to hover in the air, deterring any significant interruptions to their meal.
