Chapter 112: You're also a fan of B Komachi?
Night fell quietly, but carried a weight in the air. The vibrant lights of Tokyo twinkled like a sea of artificial stars, reflecting on the asphalt wet with the first drops of the light drizzle that began to fall. The sound of cars filled the environment, creating a constant urban melody, while the thick clouds concealed the moon, as if silently observing the unfolding of events.
At the top of a building near the chic restaurant, Kuroi watched the place attentively, binoculars firmly in hand. Beside her, Gojo and Geto did what they knew best—not taking the situation seriously.
"Aren't they taking too long to get out of there?" Kuroi grumbled, her eyes fixed on the inside of the establishment.
Geto, lying on the security wall that prevented idiots from plummeting from the top of the building, waved his arm lazily outward, his voice filled with boredom.
"It's a date, Kuroi... They must be—"
"—Exchanging sweet words and discreet pick-up lines." Gojo completed, without even raising his head, doing push-ups as if he were in the middle of any workout.
Kuroi sighed, visibly losing patience, but chose to ignore them. Her attention returned to the couple, and her expression suddenly softened.
"T-they're leaving!" The little scream escaped before she could contain it.
However, her voice soon reduced to a murmur charged with emotion.
"L-lady Riko is... so smiley..."
She squeezed the binoculars against her eyes, trying to capture every detail. Riko's lips curved in such a genuine way, her eyes sparkled in such a pure way...
"I've never seen her like this before..." Her voice sounded almost like a whisper to herself. "So radiant..."
Gojo, who until then had been stretching lazily, smiled with amusement and approached.
"Look, I'll tell you, Ryan is really good, huh? I bet the next stop is a Love Hote—"
The binoculars flew towards his head.
Gojo didn't even move. The object stopped in midair, floating in front of him.
He caught the binoculars in the air with a provocative smile.
"What's wrong, Kuroi? Don't tell me you're one of those mothers who panic when their little daughter starts dating?" His tone was loaded with sarcasm.
Kuroi turned abruptly, her cheeks tinged with red.
"She's not old enough for these things!"
Still lying down, Geto decided to tease as well.
"Well... Technically, she—"
"SHE ISN'T!" Kuroi cut him off before he could finish, her voice exploding in pure indignation.
Meanwhile, outside the restaurant, Ryan walked with Riko, their arms intertwined naturally. She laughed softly at his stories, the melodious sound of her voice filling the space between them.
Riko's smile had something mesmerizing—pure, genuine and contagious.
Ryan watched her sideways, her expression shining even more under the city lights. And then, a thought crossed his mind like lightning.
"Even knowing her for such a short time... This smile can become precious to me."
Without haste, he opened the car door for her. Riko held his hand gently as she got in, giving him a playful look.
"How polite you are..."
Her smile was thin and graceful, charged with a subtle sweetness.
Ryan winked at her, a touch of natural charm in his expression.
"It's my differential."
He walked around the vehicle and took the wheel, turning the key with a confident movement.
"Well... We can take a ride before taking you back to the hotel."
Riko put a finger to her chin, thoughtfully.
"I wonder if Kuroi, Gojo and Geto will be following us?"
Ryan chuckled softly, accelerating the car smoothly.
"Riko... You're with me, you're with God."
She blinked, confused by the phrase, but soon laughed, covering her mouth slightly as she blushed.
"Silly... You think as much of yourself as Gojo." Her gaze met his for a moment before looking away, her cheeks still tinged with pink. "But... I have to admit that I like the way you act."
At the top of the building, the tranquility was short-lived.
"THEY'RE LEAVING!" Kuroi pointed to the car, her eyes shining with a mixture of anxiety and determination.
"So let's go too." Geto rose lazily and, without hesitation, threw himself off the top of the building.
Gojo walked to Kuroi, placing a carefree hand on her shoulder.
"Let's go for a walk, couple stalker."
"Don't call me that!" Kuroi exclaimed, indignant, as Gojo made her levitate effortlessly before jumping with her.
The city stretched out before them like an ocean of lights, each neon pulsing against the wet asphalt, reflecting in the shop windows and the polished body of Ryan's car. The night was alive, charged with a unique vibration, mixing the roar of the engine with the soft music playing at a low volume.
Ryan drove with carefree calmness, while Riko, leaning against the door, watched the scenery passing before her, her curious eyes shining with the reflection of the city lights. The night wind blew gently through the small crack in the window, slightly ruffling her loose hair.
It was then that something on the avenue caught her attention.
"Hey, what's going on there, Ryan?" She asked, slightly frowning as she lowered the window for a better view.
Ryan glanced quickly at the commotion ahead. Something in that scene seemed familiar, something that ignited an instinct in his memory. Turning on the turn signal, he parked the car in a nearby spot, his eyes narrowing in recognition.
"I know that voice..." he murmured, his senses becoming alert.
As if they had just unraveled a mystery, the two stared at each other with wide eyes, pointing at each other at the same time.
"It's Ai!"
The moment of shock turned into immediate action. Ryan opened the car door in a quick movement, only to realize that Riko was already doing the same on the other side.
He raised an eyebrow, resting his arms on the roof of the car while looking at her suspiciously.
"Wait a minute... You're also a fan of B Komachi?"
Riko put one hand to her chest, her expression filled with pure devotion.
"But of course I am! They are the divas of the internet!"
Without giving time for more conversation, she spun on her heels and started running towards the commotion, excitement stamped on every step.
"Come on, come on, come on! I've never been able to see one of their shows in person!"
Ryan, still locking the car, rolled his eyes.
"Hey, you left the door open!"
"Who cares about the car?! They're singing Sign wa B!"
Her voice was practically in ecstasy, as she jumped with anticipation.
Ryan sighed, finally locking the vehicle before running after her. Before he could react, he felt his hand being grabbed, and in an abrupt pull, Riko dragged him forward.
"Let's go, let's go, let's go!"
Her enthusiasm was overwhelming, and Ryan couldn't help but laugh. The sparkle in her eyes was contagious.
They reached the entrance of the place, but then...
"Noooo! The tickets are over!" Riko exclaimed, almost crying as she squeezed Ryan's hand tightly.
She was about to unleash a flurry of complaints, but before she could say anything, Ryan lifted her off the ground in an agile movement, carrying her in his arms in the princess style.
"Who needs a ticket, Riko?"
"Eh!? W-what are you planning!?" She asked, holding her dress with one hand while blushing.
Ryan just smiled, his eyes scanning the surroundings.
"Securing our special tickets."
And without giving time for more protests, he dashed through the alley next to the entrance, his steps firm and calculated.
Riko let out an adorable squeal when he jumped onto a structure beside the stage, her arms wrapping around his neck reflexively.
When they reached the top, she huffed, messing up Ryan's hair with a sulky expression.
"You have to warn me before doing these things! I'm wearing a dress, remember?"
Ryan laughed, settling himself on the elevated surface while pointing to the privileged view they had.
"That's the least important thing now. Look at the view I got for us."
Riko's eyes widened when she finally focused on the stage.
There, right in front of her, Ai shone under the spotlights, her voice resonating like a mesmerizing melody as the chorus of Sign wa B! began.
Ryan put her down gently, but she didn't even notice—she was completely mesmerized. Without hesitation, she ran to the edge of the structure, her expression filled with emotion.
Ryan positioned himself beside her, and, without even realizing it, they began to sing together.
The moment was magical.
Meanwhile, not far away...
At the top of a building, Kuroi bit her lower lip, her expression frustrated.
"Ahhh! My heart was in my mouth when he took her to that alley!"
Gojo, standing on the edge of the building with a relaxed posture, laughed.
"Damn, me too. I was already starting to think that she would merge not with Tengen-sama, but with Ryan—"
The blow came quickly.
Or rather, it almost came.
Kuroi tried to hit him on the head with the broom, but stopped inches before impact, after all he had the Mugen... she huffed in frustration.
"Stop saying those things!" She exclaimed, her face slightly flushed.
Gojo just laughed, throwing his head back with amusement.
The night went on its course, but one thing was certain—that moment would be etched in their memories.
