Arriving at the castle, Kiotho, Anasthasia, and Anwir followed Hagrid inside, finding themselves in a large corridor.

Anwir occasionally spoke, sharing his opinions on the castle and teaching them about the wizarding world. Anasthasia listened intently, sometimes asking questions.

Kiotho, feeling uncomfortable, stayed silent. He trusted Anasthasia not to do anything that might hurt him.

Finally, Kiotho spotted a familiar face, Professor McGonagall. She was scanning the group, searching for something. When her gaze landed on Hagrid and the students he was leading, she spoke.

"Perfect timing, Hagrid. I'm grateful you brought them here," she said in a friendly tone.

Hagrid scratched his head and replied, "Ahah, no need to thank me. I'm just doing my job. Well then, I'll leave them in your care."

"Very well," McGonagall agreed. "Again, thank you, but I need to take these children now."

Nodding, Hagrid excused himself, giving them an encouraging smile before departing.

As soon as he left, McGonagall's expression turned stern, her tone commanding. "Alright, first-years, follow me, and no wandering!"

She began leading them, and Kiotho took the opportunity to steer Anasthasia away from Anwir, who went ahead to speak with others.

"Why the sudden interest in him? Did he catch your attention?" Kiotho asked calmly, though his heart was uneasy.

Anasthasia turned her head towards him, pursing her lips before answering. "I just feel more open around Anwir. He's such a nice, polite person. Why do you ask?"

'Am I mistaken?' Kiotho wondered, but he decided not to dismiss the possibility that something was off.

"Of course I'm asking. Even though I dislike him, I don't want to stop you from making your first friend, even if he's... a male," he mumbled the last part to himself.

"Are you jealous? If you want, I can ignore him," Anasthasia offered, considering how Kiotho might feel. Despite her good opinion of Anwir, her love for Kiotho outweighed everything else.

"There's no need. I trust you, Nastia. Talk to him if you want," Kiotho replied. He couldn't deny his conflicted feelings but saw no reason to stop her from making friends.

"Just promise me one thing, be careful around him. For some reason, I feel uneasy whenever he's near. Just promise me this. I don't want anything happening to you," he said firmly, leaving no room for compromise.

Seeing his jealousy and concern, Anasthasia couldn't refuse. "Umu~, I promise to be careful around him and make sure nothing happens. Is that good, Kiotho~?"

She hugged his arm as she finished speaking. Kiotho suppressed his worries and jealousy. "The promise is enough for me, Nastia~."

Lost in their own world, they accidentally bumped into someone. Realizing the group had stopped, they turned to see Goyle glaring at them.

"Watch where you're going!" Goyle snapped.

Kiotho noticed Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter speaking behind him.

"Yeah, yeah, sorry," Kiotho said dismissively, moving past him.

"Hmph, wher-" Goyle started, but Draco interrupted, annoyed.

"Goyle! I've called you three times! Are you deaf or something? Come here now!"

Goyle gave up and rushed toward Draco, bowing slightly. "I'm sorry, Draco. I was distracted by-"

"I don't care what distracted you! Anyway, this is Goyle, and this is Crabbe, my followers. Nice to meet you, Harry," Draco said, extending his hand.

Harry dismissed him coldly. "I can choose my own friends, Malfoy."

Before Draco could respond, a stern voice interrupted.

"Let's move on to your house selection, where you'll meet many friends, comrades, and maybe even loved ones. Now, go in," McGonagall instructed, leading them into the Great Hall.

As they entered, the students marveled at the enchanted ceiling and floating candles whispering.

"Wow..."

"Beautiful! Is this where we'll be studying?"

Anasthasia maintained her composure outwardly but was inwardly amazed at the hall's grandeur.

Kiotho, calm as ever, gazed around with mild interest, noting how much larger it seemed compared to the movies.

At the teachers' table sat many unique figures, a man in a turban, a kind-looking woman, a goblin-like man with glasses, a black-haired man with an intimidating presence, and a gentle old man smiling warmly at everyone.

"Stay here and move when called," McGonagall instructed before walking to the center, where a small chair awaited.

Raising her wand to her throat, she amplified her voice. "Silence! The house selection begins now. When I call your name, please come forward, sit, and the magical hat will sort you into the house best suited for you! Let's begin."

She picked up an old, worn hat from the table and called out the first name.

"Neville Longbottom!"

A chubby, nervous-looking boy hesitantly approached the chair. As the hat was placed on his head, its mouth began to move.

"Hm... Longbottom... yes, I remember your parents. Hidden courage and kindness... lots of it. I know the perfect place for you."

"GRYFFINDOR!"

The hall erupted in applause. Still somewhat dazed, Neville smiled as he joined the Gryffindor table.

McGonagall silenced the room and continued.

"Draco Malfoy!"

Draco strutted confidently to the chair, sitting down as if the outcome was already decided.

"SLYTHERIN!" the hat shouted immediately, earning thunderous applause from the Slytherin table.

One by one, names were called, and students were sorted.

"Ron Weasley!"

"GRYFFINDOR!"

"Hermione Granger!"

"GRYFFINDOR!"

"Daphne Greengrass!"

"SLYTHERIN!"

"Anwir Vesperis!"

Anwir stepped forward gracefully, his polite smile captivating the room. Sitting down, he waited as the hat deliberated for an unusually long time before finally declaring:

"SLYTHERIN!"

Kiotho's eyes narrowed as he glanced at Anasthasia, his expression saying,' You see? He's hiding something.'

Anasthasia responded with a light smile.

After being sorted, Anwir introduced himself to the Slytherins, earning their approval.

"Kiotho Luthosia!"

Hearing his name, Kiotho exchanged a final glance with Anasthasia, who whispered, "Good luck~."

Walking calmly through the hall, detached from the world, he sat on the chair.

'Such a detached mind... but brilliant,' the hat's voice echoed in his head. 'While you understand the truth and meaninglessness of life, you still care deeply for one person. Your intelligence suggests Ravenclaw, but your darkness says otherwise... love so strong it borders on obsession... possessiveness... and ambition for strength...'

'Just sort me somewhere with Nastia. I don't care otherwise' Kiotho replied.

'Very well. Your intelligence and ambition, combined with your detachment, make this clear.'

"RAVENCLAW!"

Opening his eyes, Kiotho smiled brightly at Anasthasia. 'After all, only she matters in this life.'

He introduced himself briefly at the Ravenclaw table, then turned to watch as McGonagall called the next name.

"Anasthasia Luthosia!"

Anasthasia walked deliberately, her steps calculated. Glancing at Kiotho, she sat down, her expression determined.

The hat spoke in her mind. 'Such devotion... such obsession... rare indeed. Your bond with him is unshakable. Your indifference toward others and willingness to do anything for him... very well. I'll grant your wish, but remember, obsession comes with sacrifices.'

"RAVENCLAW!"

Excited, Anasthasia joined Kiotho, sitting beside him. "We did it~. Nothing can separate us~."

Kiotho felt his heart swell with joy. "Yes, we always will be together."
