All the other operatives that are entering the castle were all split up which is not good news for them. The hooded assailants killed any moving people that they encounter but all of them noticed that there was no sound when they got killed. A simple scream or sudden reaction was not even registered. All the heard are bodies suddenly falling to the ground, but they could not get a good view as the castle was dark inside.

"Team B, report." The leader of the hooded assailants asked via a communicator device that they have also smuggled from the Gnome Kingdom.

It seems that the assailants have an inside man as the communication devices that they are using are not available to the public. They are personal devices that are small enough to be an earring and operate at a specific magical frequency. The possibility of leaking any information on the conversation is basically zero.

"Team B, report on your progress with capturing the princess." The leader of the hooded assailants repeated but only static was picked up until some sound could finally be heard.

"Team B is now reporting. Apologies for the delay as there was a new guard that had to be dealt with." The familiar voice of the Team B leader stated.

"How about the princess? We need them to be alive in order to enter the sealed laboratory." The leader of the hooded assailants asked.

"Team B, reporting. The princess is secured and is currently in slumber. It seems that there are still soldiers that are awake but weakened. Will the rendezvous point be changed?" The familiar voice of the Team B leader replied.

"Nice work, Team B. Rendezvous with us in the quarters of the king and queen. Team C is still on the way to the room of the crown prince. Team D will clear the path towards the sealed laboratory for now. Do all teams, copy." The leader of the hooded assailants stated.

"Affirmative." The familiar voice of the Team B leader responded.

"Almost at the room of the crown prince. We shall begin extraction." The Team C leader replied.

"Team D has split up and is now sweeping the entire area before the secret laboratory." The Team D leader replied.

"Good. Team B and Team C will rendezvous with Team A. Let us make this quick as we only have an hour before the cranky Primordial Beast of Sloth kicks up a fuss. She is currently channeling her power through the artifact that we have sent here prior. She refuses to work for more than an hour so hasten everything. Kill anyone that gets in the way but make sure that the royalty is not hurt until we get what we need." The leader of the hooded assailants commanded.

"Yes, commander." All team leaders responded.

"So, they are all working with a Primordial Beast and it is even one of the Primordial Beasts of Sin. Thankfully, the Primordial Beast of Sloth is not inside the castle which means we have a chance to repel all of them. No wonder the entire kingdom is getting lazy and sleepy.

The Primordial Beast of Sloth is the one behind it all. Thanks a lot for your service, Team B leader. You have made your master proud but the fact that all memories prior to this plan is erased is not a good sign for me. You can now dispose of the bodies, Voodoo Marie." Creepysoo stated.

"Can I add him to my collection, my prince? You said that I can do anything to bodies of criminals that are full of bad karma. This one has accumulated a lot despite not having memories." Voodoo Marie stated.

"Sure. Just make sure that we can still use his voice should another communication opens up." Creepysoo stated.

"Do not worry, my prince. This head will be very useful for us for now." The head of the Team B leader replied as it can speak and move on its own despite being separated from its body.

"The crown prince is next. Who was the one I assigned to him again?" Creepysoo muttered.

"It was Mummie who is assigned to protect the crown prince." Voodoo Marie replied.

"I remembered thanks to you. Protect the princess as I will go and aid Mummie. Shadow Creeper, let us go!" Creepysoo stated as an undead made mostly of shadows took him away from the bed chambers of the princess that is sleeping.

Creepysoo arrived at the chambers of the crown prince and saw an entire team of assailants covered in bandages. Creepysoo also saw some bandages filled with sand which means Mummie must have activated Curse of the Pharoah which turned any enemies his bandages touched into sand. He could already guess that the others struggled while those that are tied up are not resisting in fear of dying.

"Where is the leader? There should be someone that has a communication device on their ear." Creepysoo stated.

"Mummie is sorry because one escaped. Robin Hoodie is currently chasing that one." Mummie replied as he looked like he was about to cry.

"In that case, Mummie has done a good job. We do not need prisoners as they do not know anything about the plans anyways. You can dispose of them now but good work in holding them down." Creepysoo stated as fear crept to the captured assailants.

"Okay!" Mummie stated in a gloomy yet somewhat cheerful tone.

The assailants wanted to escape but they were not as powerful as their team leader. All of them tried to plead but their mouths are covered so that they will not utter a sound. Mummie looked at the assailants with a sad face and all of them turned to sand. Mummie looked sadder but he became a bit happy when he collected the sands of his victims.

"We will play forever now!" Mummie stated as he created a small sandcastle.

"Protect the prince from harm now. I need to clean up the other bad people that are headed towards Frankie." Creepysoo stated.

"Okay! Be safe!" Mummie stated as it looks teary eyed with Creepysoo leaving but he did not stop the latter.

"Let us go, shadow creeper." Creepysoo stated as he tapped his shadow, and it engulfed him once more.

"What is that thing! I must report to our leader!" The Team C leader stated as he ran for his life while clutching his left hand that he cut off himself.

The Team C leader did not have any problem going towards the quarters of the crown prince as all awake personnel were dealt with. The problem happened when they entered the room and saw a peculiar child that was bandaged. They attempted to kill the child, but they soon found themselves covered in cursed bandages. He was somewhat fine as he managed to dodge and only his hand was caught.

He thought that the kid was a mage designed to protect the crown prince which is why they aimed all their poisoned darts at him. All the darts hit the body of the child, but it just stared at them blankly until it cried. When the bandaged child cried, half of the people that he ensnared with bandages turned to sand.

"My hand!" The Team C leader noticed as his hand started to turn to sand as well.

When the curse that turned his hand to sand was about to affect his entire arm, the Team C leader immediately cut it off. He did not even save his own people and just ran away. He wanted to activate the communication artifact to alert the Team A leader, but the activator ring was on the hand that turned to sand. The Team C leader proceeded to alert the Team A leader himself as the cursed child was not following them.

"I need to get to the leader! There are hidden guards that are not affected by the negative energy of the Primordial Beast of Sloth. This mission might fail with the strange ene…" The Team C leader stated as he suddenly felt lightheaded before dropping to the ground.

"I have secured the straggler." A voice that came from a hooded being stated as he picked up the dead Team C leader with a hole in his head as the arrow passed through cleanly.

"Why is the path to the secret laboratory so dark?" The Team D leader stated as this area barely had any guards as the Gnome Royal Family is confident in their sealed door.

Bzzt Bzzt

"Leader, do you hear that?" One of the hood assailants asked.

"That is probably just faulty wiring from a machine. Remember that this castle itself is a magical technology marvel. The reason why we need the royal family to be asleep so that the defense mechanism does not work." The Team D leader stated.

"I see. I always wondered why you need the royal family to be asleep." Creepysoo stated which all the hooded assailants noticed and promptly sent their throwing weapons at him.
